Mr. Richard Thomas how could we have even doubted the inevitable outcome?. This is my 93 yr old Dad's (still with us!!!) favorite car of all time. I remember as a youngster, we'd see one driving by, he'd point it out and say, "Some day when I get rich, I'll buy one of those!". Of course, life got in the way, him and my Mother, God rest her AWESOME soul, worked bloody hard to raise my four siblings and I, and to make sure we never went without. We were never rich, but we never doubted they loved us.
I remember when I was a know-nothing selfish "tweener" and there was a school Halloween carnival that I wanted to go to so bad (cause there'd be girls there!) that my Dad said he'd take us to, well, the time came and went and Dad didn't get home till hours after the carnival was over. I threw a mini-tantrum,slammed a few doors, said some things I wished I could take back, but I got over it. Years later I learned my Dad had taken a second job to make ends meet. Never complained, never made excuses, never shoved it in our faces, just fulfilled his responsibilities as a father to his family. Gets me choked up just to type this, thinking of ALL the sacrifices they made on our behalf. My God, we've been blessed to be raised by such selfless, nurturing parents.

I think Tbirds probably had the most drastic body changes through the years than any other car. I learned to drive a 79 Tbird and eventually owned it.

Also, I really enjoy seeing Gus helping you! I've got two dachshunds myself. Best dogs ever!

The trim, glass, door handles, and insignia badges… etc are all easily worth $150. People don’t think of how much value there is in all the small, nearly impossible to find parts.

Reminds me of the old story about a guy whose car breaks down a block from a service station, he pushes the car there, tells the mechanic what happened, the mechanic pulls out a stethoscope, takes a listen, gets his ball peen hammer and carefully takes a whack at a specific spot. The mechanic tells the guy that that will cost him $50.00. The guy is shocked, and says, "I could have done that with my hammer". The mechanic replies, "I don't think so! I knew where to hit!" You, sir, are Mr. Determination, Mr. KnowHowToDoIt. Nice job.

What I like about your channel is how you are so smart and repurpose …no waste (you say overkill…no crime in that…sleep at night with overkill) other thing is you are the same dude with 10 subs as you are now with many more…love the area you live in …love the heritage…I live in Canada..definitely would visit more USA states in the future…love your channel bud…look forward to the next one…🇨🇦

I can never get over the way people leave a car for "storage", bad enough they leave it outside in the open but they really screw up by not making sure the windows are up and the air cleaner is in place.
