BA’s Special Sauce recipe
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon finely grated onion
1 tablespoon sweet relish or 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
2 teaspoons adobo sauce from canned chipotle chiles in adobo
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
This is the version of one of the best smash burger Restaurant in Montreal Chez Tousignant and my go-to sauce.
* ½ cup mayonnaise Hellman's
* 1 tbsp ketchup Heinz
* 1 tbsp yellow mustard French's
* ¼ tsp garlic powder
* ¼ tsp paprika
* Pinch of cayenne pepper
* 1 tbsp pickle juice

@@a3dstorm tousignant was the most disappointing restaurant ive had in years. Nothing was seasoned and customer service was bad. Maybe it was just a one time thing but it was really expensive and overall a bad experience.
Carla, I made these and everyone loved it. "best burger i've ever had" is what i kept hearing. I always worry about recipes from food channels or youtubers because 9 out of 10 times they don't taste that great, but these are amazing and now i'm gonna make every recipe you've ever posted.

Makes about 1/2 cup
1/2 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

I love that this episode is so real. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes you burn the buns. Sometimes the recipe calls for shredded lettuce and you say no. It's a great video that shows what cooking at home is really about. 10/10, Bon Appétit. Y'all are always killing it

That is absolutely the right amount of pickles on a burger!! Whenever I go places I ask for extra pickles and half the time they only give me like four. I like when they give me a little bowl on the side so I can put a bunch on and also snack on them!

When you cook your own burger, put the pickles on the burger as soon as you turn it so the pickley goodness gets to the meat. Then put the cheese over them and when it melts, it holds them in place.

benjamin rouvier you seem to have a real gripe against America. You know we have some of the best restaurants in the world right? Not everything here is fast or processed food. Don't be so close minded.

good chefs, good imported food, or just rare good quality food doesn't mean that all the food is good and have the same quality
us food is globaly very VERY crappy
and a couple of exeptionals restaurants wont change this
even if these are the best of the world....
but no i must be closed minded....
come in europe and try some of the food (not in restaurants, in supermarkers and stuff), even the crapiest of them still have a minimum of quality (maybe because of the laws), and are mostly composed of "natural" ingredients
that's not the case in the us

Tell Brad that American cheese is really thick cheese sauce. If you think of it like that instead of as a cheese it makes more culinary sense.
There is no cheese or dairy in many American slices, that’s why it legally isn’t cheese and can’t even have the word cheese on the packaging in some places. It tastes like what it is, congealed oil with enough additives to be palatable to the American consumer.
There are some imitation slices to which that applies but spreading disinformation like this is dangerous.
In Seattle we got a place, 3 actually. They use chopped pickle and some kind of burger sauce. And it’s the best ever. Ever!

What brand do you use and or recommend?
Any decent carbon steel or cast iron griddle should work. I use a Chef King 10-gauge carbon steel griddle and a Lodge LPGI3 Pro-Grid cast iron griddle. Both work great once they're seasoned.
