I'm hesitant to give up my family trick, but when you lay the olive oil down at the bottom of the sheet, dump a bunch of shredded parmesan cheese into the oil layer. Result- chewy burnt cheese awesomeness.

I love a good traditional margherita as much as the next guy. But I also love an over-the-top kitchen sink situation. It hits every tastebud and sensation at the same time. It's great.
This has become the standard recipe for pizza in my kitchen now. So easy and the house smells incredible. The simple sauce allows for creative toppings too.
This one works so well for a Saturday video because it's straight forward, uncomplicated and short, yet offers individual style/taste possibilities. What else do we need on a Saturday!? Thx Carla.

She's right. But I still like green peppers on my pizza. Not all the time. Not most of the time. But some of the time. Maybe one in ten pizzas. Even though it's kinda dried out and yucky, it's still worth it. My number one veggie for a pizza is garlic, though. Soppressata is still the best meat topping, which is why it was so shocking to me that they completely ignored it as an option in the Making Perfect series.
Acceptable pizza toppings in any variation: pepperoni, salami, sausage, Canadian bacon, any Italian meat really, mushroom, onion, black olive, Kalamata olive, pepperoncini, banana peppers, spinach, egg..... ...pineapple

In addition to air, if you just run it with some foods, it'll stick above and below the blade, but if you pulse it, it won't do that.
