- I recently had the chance to visit Lisbon while giving a couple of presentations at WebSummit. Everyone that had been there had told me what a great place it was, so I took an afternoon to walk around the city filming with my iPhone.
Have you been? What did you think? (And let me know in the comments if you liked this video.)
BTW - the iPhone XS Max is a videographer's dream camera. It's much less disruptive to people that are in your scenes than a full DSLR. I used it on a FreeFly Movi gimbal. I also carried around my Sony A7r III with a few lenses, but hardly used it.
You don't know how a beautifull city looks like until you visit Lisbon...Very nice video, good editing, good pace, excellente
A Must Visit City with a Camera
Where is Belém and Nations Park?
Great question! I only had a single day, and didn't have the chance to visit them. But I have now some great reasons to go back!
@@DavidSkok1 You will love to visit the Belém area and the Nations park area.
If possible, also visit the beach of Cascais and the palaces of Sintra!
A big hug of affection from the north of Portugal 🇵🇹 🇵🇹 🇵🇹
@@Renato-uu3yk Excellent! I am so looking forward to getting back to Portugal once Covid clears up. Thank you!
Love the whole feel of it! Really brought the city to life from the streets to the food - well done!
Spectacular views!
Such an amazing and creative video! Really really enjoyed it
Thanks Imogen!
So colorful and vibrant. Moved along at a really nice pace and gave an excellent teaser and taste of the city. Definitely made me want to visit. Thanks for sharing.
you 'll not be dissapointed
It’s worth the visit!
Short, concise and brilliant, well done. You captured the best that Lisbon has to offer!
Thanks!
ice vídeo. you are a esthetic guy, thanks to show to the world the beaty of mt city. hope you come again and visit other cities.
Thanks Luis! You are lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
Fantastique
btw David what software are you editing your video in and how does the Movi stack up to the Osmo?
wow that Movi is pretty amazing. the city looks amazing. how was that experience compared to Patagonia photographically?
Very different experience, but really great fun from a photographer's or for vlogging/film-making. I do love visiting Europe as the culture is quite different to the US. Having said all that, Patagonia would be one of my very top lifetime memories and experiences. The other ones to try that are in that same category, are Namibia and Botswana.
@@DavidSkok1 for some reason the continent of Africa is pretty far down my list on places to go. Just did Japan. AMAZING. Iceland, Scotland and Norway next year. Possibly Patagonia for 2020
@@DavidSkok1 did you feel Patagonia was a safe trip?
@@BJJandBS Yes - definitely safe.
