If you’re planning to visit Lisbon or if you’re familiar with the city, what are some other restaurants worth visiting? Drop a comment and share with myself and other viewers for future reference! 👍🏼🙏🏻
I did refer to them as "prawns" multiple times but if the reference of "shrimp" and "prawns" interchangeably in my comments is scientifically inaccurate and compels you to highlight that and call it out, then cool
Good choices brother... im from north... im gonna watch now the Porto one... usually I get pissed off watching people eating the sardines... u know what you doing... I can tell u r a fish lover not a poser..
@@connect_or thanks for watching and leaving a comment. You probably already realized I don’t actually have a dedicated Porto video as that was just a flashback clip for visualization from 2018 when I went and was not creating videos then unfortunately. I do wish I did.
@@fomoyolotravel when u ate the potato with oilive oil and garlic from the clams, was a great idea!!!! If u noticed they put a bottle of olive oil in your table... but u did just better! Well done!!!
We didn’t have rice with sardinhas and nor was it served that way to us anywhere. We did have it served to us once with the clams at Merendinha Do Arco (my personal favorite spot). Whether it’s right or wrong, I can’t say but I will absolutely say it was delicious and paired very well in my opinion. Then again, I am also Asian and we love just about everything with rice
@@fomoyolotravel even rice with clams is not usual, it's almost a blasfemy. The clams comes with toasted bread with butter so that you can get all that wonderful juice from the pan. I need to recognise it was a nice choice of different representative plates from Portugal, with incident in fish and seafood. You can't go wrong when ordering this.
Since when boiled popatoes is a thing of criticism? Boiled potatoes are very tasty. They are great. Try before criticizing. What, you never ate boiled potatoes?
@@carlossaraiva8213 Silly boy, it was not a criticism, just a correction. Commentator said baked when obviously they were boiled, like most seafood dishes in Portugal get them. I think I have tried them having been a professional cook all my life. Chill dude...
Hello I am from Lisboa , glad you enjoyed visiting Portugal. Yes I understood that is what you ordered but that fish being so slim and small in the video it look like a horse mackerel (carapau in Portuguese), they are also a big part of our cuisine and I enjoy eating them. But it can be a robalo also, the only reason I said it could be a carapau is because I buy them at the fish market and they have around 600 to 850 grams but it is possible that is better for a restaurant to buy them smaller to make individual portions. You had a good experience in Portugal but it's just the tip of the iceberg regarding the food we have, next visit should be to Porto and Douro.
@@AkyraNN Thank you for watching my video and I know what you mean. I was just giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt that they served us specifically what we ordered as the service staff was great and if they didn't have sea bass, I would assume they would have told us. It definitely was a smaller size compared to other types of bass I've had in the past so i see where you're coming from

I've been to Portugal twice and I rate the food the best in the world. Next Jordan

Underrated channel, excellent reviews

PORTUGAL IS THE THE BEST NATION OF THE PLANET .
Love your patriotism. As a foreigner / tourist, I did absolutely enjoy my visit
It spells "dook" 😅
For sure
Next time come to the north of PORTO!
Would love to!
Does a video of a visit to Portugal, plays a brazilian bossa nova muzak. 😅😅😅
I used Epidemic Sound and chose “Happy, Laidback, Feel Good” music. 😉
They are not giant shrimps but from the family of lobsters called " lagostins", small lobsters

The potatoes were dry because you didn't season them with olive oil.
Yup that's one someone else said too. Good to know for next time
Try to eat a nice corato in Portugal

In my entire life I've never saw rice served with Amêijoas or Sardinhas, never.

At 4:44 you can see clearly that it is a "robalo"
