I really enjoyed my time here. The people were amazing and hospitality that we received was warm and welcoming. What are some of your favorite spots in Barcelona (food or attractions)? Drop a comment & share!
Hi there! How does Barcelona compare to Lisbon in terms of the quality of the food, as well as the value for money? Also, how does Spain in general compare to Portugal. Would you rate one higher than the other in terms of fish and sea food?
@@zafira976 if I was to be completely unbiased then considering the location of both countries in the region, I think they are neck and neck in terms of value & quality of the food. Obviously there are country specific dishes you can only appreciate in one and not the other. If you have the flexibility and means to visit both, definitely try to do that
Barcelona is such a beautiful city!! But Spain's culinary traditions are very diverse depending on the area.. Go to Galicia, pais vasco etc to try more delicious food. Great video
@@fomoyolotravel Glad you enjoyed your stay and love that you want to go back and see other places in Spain, there really is so much diversity in traditions and so much to see!!
Hi Jeff great video, I really enjoy how much detail you add when you describe your experience trying the foods makes the video very authentic and interesting! Keep it up!

The video is nice but honestly (and this is a REALLY BASIC) keep saying all the time "Barcelona Spain" it's offending to most Catalans because Catalonia it's a nation by it's own and you haven't even mentioned in your video, I believe there was no bad intention in your act but knowing where you truly are going it's basic before uploading any decent video. Just as Polish or Ukrainian do not like to be confused as Russians, we truly Catalans do not like to be categorized as "Spanish" nor "French" neither, we simply are Catalans from Catalonia, nit better nor worse than other peoples but simply different. Cheers!
As you mentioned, definitely unintentional and as a foreigner (perhaps an ignorant one at times) simply making content sharing my personal travel & food experiences, I am not here to intentionally promote nor downplay anything that, in my opinion, falls into the realm of political situations or sensitivities, etc. that may exist in the world. At the end of the day, I’m just a simple guy and an amateur content creator who likes to travel & eat and understand my content and the things I say or don’t say won’t jive or sit well with everyone. No, Catalonia is not a nation in itself, it is part of the Spanish nation, and has been since it exists. That 40% of the population is nationalist (compared to 53% who are not. Data from the Center for Opinion Studies) does not make them a de facto independent nation. That you come to bother with your neuroses in a video about culinary tourism is pathetic and sick. PS: Look at your passport and tell me what nationality it says. Greetings from Galicia, Spain.
I'm catalan, I feel spanish also, not offended at all. He can say whatever he wants. In fact at least 50% of catalans also feel spanish, so......ejem ejem.....
Barcelona and catalunya are parts of spain, when they voted for independence, the majority of catalans voted to stay as part of Spain. If you are going to be correcting people maybe you shoould practice what u preach and do some research yourself.....Anyone can be offended by anything , catalunya is a region of Spain and thats a fact.
