Oh now I remember why I stopped watching this channel. I really used to like you guys but that reverse eating thing looks like you're throwing up and it grosses me out. Can't watch it.
My grandfather was shipwrecked on Gibraltar during WW1. He told a story about the sailors eating the same thing every day “Weebles and Za-boy-ya.” We figured out early on that weebles were actually huevos. Lol now I know what za-boy-ya means ❤️
All I can say is delicious potatoes! I love you guys and your food tour of Barcelona. I wish I was there when you were eating all that great looking food.❤
Superb appearing foods. Taste must be wonderful. My wife and I have visited Barcelona and had a wonderful time. We speak Spanish (Mexican accent/dialect!) so everything was easy.
"My alltime favorite donut is a boston cream donut" - me too! I uesd to work at Dunkin Donuts and I got to make them and eat them fresh, still warm. Of course I overloaded them with the custard cuz I was in charge of the custard machine hahaha: )
Yummy snacks and nice weather, I love that in Spain, Portugal. Now It is about time you visit and eat your way through the nordic countries, spring is approaching. How about the Smørrebrød or red hot dogs (Pølser) from Denmark. The Swedish Chicken, banana and curry pizza or some reindeer dish higher up in the country. While there visit also Norway and indulge in Fårikål or maybe some whale meat. Lot's of more fringe options and also more normal to you dishes are available of course, come visit please.

well, don't buy a xuixo there... it looked almost unedible :| omg i doubt a Spaniard buys that for its taste :| and the pinxos bar and where they bought the bravas... meh... don't know about American xDD
That "Nerd heaven" shopping area is exactly the kind of thing I like. Where in the Gothic quarter is that located? Is there a name for the mall? I'll be there in December this year
That's strange because potatoes are from the Americas. People in the Andes Mountains have been eating potatoes for 5,000 or more years. The biggest potato countries are China and India and United States and Russia
Some truly beautiful sights there! I Definitely need to get there someday. Side note, your camera might have a setting to help with the flickering lights. It's from the frequency of the electrical grid. I think it should be 50Hz for Europe/Asia, 60Hz for North/South America. In general at least- there are probably exceptions! You can also manually try to work around it with shutter speed. Basically using a shutter speed that is a multiple of the electrical frequency of the country you're in.
Great video , man, seems like people like food in Barcelona, I have shot a video about food in Barcelona recently and it got very good views😀 Cheers to a great food videos🥂
I absolutely LOVED Barcelona!! I went for a day trip in 2022 as our all inclusive hotel was close to Barcelona. I don’t usually do all inclusive but it was still covid times and I was desperate to get away and be guaranteed food and drinks 😂 Anyway!! Barcelona was amazing for food, views and just the general vibe. As vegetarians we had so much choice for food and we loved the beer as well. I wish I vlogged it 😂 but I’ll definitely be back! Also hope you guys are doing well and glad you had a great time on your cruise!! Would you do it again?
Phil, there was a restaurant u used to go to that had empanadas with chorizo, cheese and potato. Then they stopped making it and i was very sad. You would have loved it
100 Montaditos, avoid it. It's a chain, in all shopping centre food halls and mass produced rubbish. Much better budget options such as CAN PAIXANO or ELSABETS .. both offer very good value for money without the factory food taste.
Some tips for tourists. Barcelona is a city that receives millions of tourists every year, and therefore there are many people who try to take advantage, and that includes pickpockets. It is not a violent city, it is rare for someone to assault you or take a weapon to rob you, and even less so in busy areas. Therefore, as someone who was born in this city, I advise you: 1: Always have your valuables well insured and safe. 2: Do not leave valuable things visible or neglected. 3: If you have a problem, always go to police stations or commercial establishments in the area, do not trust unknown people who say they can help you. 4: In Barcelona people speak many languages, but the majority speak Catalan and Spanish, if you do not understand those languages it is better to go with someone (for example a guide) because not everyone speaks English, French, etc... 5: Although it is not like New York or Tokyo, it is a big city where it is easy to get lost, and there are conflictive neighborhoods. If you are not sure where you are going, ask, don't try to "adventure", you may end up in a bad area. If you come to Barcelona, enjoy it, have a good time. Go out to eat, dine and dance, but remember that people also live and get up early to work, think about what you would feel if there were people at 4 in the morning shouting and celebrating under your window on a weekday.
Don't buy a yacht. I read an article about this. The insurance, maintenance fees, docking fees and all that add up to make it a massive money sink. Even for rich people it's a bad decision.
There's a difference between Catalonia and Spain, i have learnt that much, that should have been mentioned (like there's a difference between Spanish Spanish and Mexican Spanish languages).... (I'm into Latinas, lol). 😮😂❤
In northern Germany it was really cold and snowy in comparison to last winters, but I can imagine that barely anything was different in the mid and south.
¿And what about the Palau de la musica catalana and the Liceu? Both of them dedicated to classical music and/or opera. Because some of the other places are full of rabble!😡😡😡😡
Hi. There is not such a concept of "street food" in Spain, selling food in the street is forbidden for higenic reasons, nobody eats walking on the street in Spain, people just dont like it, just ice cream. Cheers!
That all the food places you name are next to the the main touristic places (Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, etc), is so disappointing. Most of the restaurants you name were open only a few years ago in the wake the touristic mega boom of the city, so they are mainly focused on the tourists and offer mediocre food. For example, the “100 Montaditos” food chain is from Huelva (Andalucía), and has little to do with the typical Catalan food. Same for the tapas culture, which has been adopted in Barcelona only 20 years ago and where many of the restaurants that you can find in the Gothic area or Borne quarter are sub-franchised to Pakistanis. Seriously, if you want to make a video about the Street Food Tour in Barcelona you should seriously consider asking a local Barcelonian connoisseur first, instead of showing your audience which tourist-traps to go to. If you want to make a serious video about Barcelona’s true gastronomic offer (no matter how “delicious” you say the food was at those silly places you were), go instead to Terraza Martínez, Bar Cañete, Paco Meralgo, Sagardi Argentería, Cal Pep, Els 4 Gats, Disfrutar (2024 best restaurant in the world), just to name a few. And then make a video.
They right doing the catalan specialities in an own category. They are just talking about food. Same happens with folklore, music and cultural differences depending the area of the country.
I think that in Southern Spain Tapas were being eaten before Europeans began living in what is Argentina. It was food that was given free to cover the mouth of the drinking vessel to stop things getting into the drinks. It was basically a rounded piece of bread with something easy on the top. I am sure that in other parts of the world this has been done for ever.
there is nothing there that makes me drool. Except maby the hamon ...no bread😅. Nope, Spain can not fool me...i need more, i need better...i need some effort. For some reason Italian food is décent in Sapin...maby its thé comparison to Spanish food😅. But go to italian owned establishments.
They probably do 10-15,000 steps/day which is typical for most EU cities when visiting. I do that and come back from vacations the same weight or lighter and trust me, I don't hold back from the amazing food.

Mmmmhm! Those Patatas Bravas look's sooo nice!
Tortilla de patata is for anytime of the day, specially mornings or dinners. Ayyy you guys made me miss my city and the food!!! Ahhh🤤🤤🤤
YES to that! Potatoes all day!
Everything looked spectacular! Food, scenery, and architecture. What a great video! Love you guys 😍

Next time you should visit Carrer de blai. A lot of good small tapas restaurants, especially in the evening it's worth it
Oh my gosh, I want to book a flight right NOW!!
I want to try those bombas at that bar! It looks authentic.
I am currently in Barcelona, awesome eats, love all the little tapas. My favorite street food is the patatas(little fried potatoes).
You both are delightful. Went there 2 years ago. We stayed in the Gothic area and I was in love
Everything looked scrumptious! 😊
Did you get to see the Olympic stadium? I'll never forget that spectacular lighting of the cauldron w/ the bow and flaming arrow. It was so cool.
Try the calamares. Bocadillos in Spain are so good.

If you want Phil to love a dish, make sure you include some nice potatoes

Madrid is equally amazing for tapas/food. Check out Spain Revealed for all the info you need.
Those Spanish tortillas look incredible! I think I will make one this weekend.
