    Would love a video about your design process. Maybe your initial consult and measurements. Then how you draw up your plans and present them to the clients. Their feedback and what you change. (if anything) Then picking out of tub/toilets/shower, tile, hardware and colors. Then do the remodel and see how close it comes to the initial design. You can do it without involving the owners by just talking about their choices, unless they would like to be part of the video.

I put the large tile format on the walls. its called Satori Regent Statuario 24-in x 24-in Polished Porcelain Marble Look Floor and Wall Tile. On the floor I did the same style but the rectangular ones. And the shower floor is EpicClean Milton Arabescato Marble 12 in. x 12 in. Glazed Ceramic Mosaic Tile but that was from Home Depot. Question. If you have an island bathtub, why do you not waterproof around the area? I wouldve thought that if you get out of the bath, you would want the floor waterproofed as you would get it wet otherwise no? Just curious. I have no experiance with this type of thing so would love to know reasons for why you dont do this. Thanks in advance :)

    • @WorkinwithWolkon
      @WorkinwithWolkon  3 месяца назад

      Yes it’s a bathroom, various areas will get some amount of water on the floor as you get out of the tub/shower. But this will be a very minor amount of water, not enough to cause any damage. You gotta remember that porcelain tile is an excellent water barrier, the general floor area will never see water making its way past the tile

    • @Krimsonrain
      @Krimsonrain 3 месяца назад +2

      That's not ditra heat, it's the standard decoupling membrane you use as part of a schluter system. Ditra heat is compatible with that membrane.

    • @WorkinwithWolkon
      @WorkinwithWolkon  3 месяца назад +1

      Two reasons
      1. Ditra heat is 1/4 vs the 1/8 of regular Ditra and we needed the extra thickness to build up the floor
      2. The peel and stick installation method is only available for Ditra heat at the moment
