Great video. I really appreciate your straight forward approach, clear instructions, and really, really appreciate that you do not add in music.
Just an American electrician here but you’re doing damn good things up there in Canada. Keep it up, enjoys the videos.
Great instructional, I did my first tenax epoxy on a miter ledge today at work.
I followed the video the whole way and was very happy with the results.
Most useful information I found was the waiting times before pulling the tape and cutting back the epoxy!!
Yo Liam, ABSOLUTELY the best call to use epoxy on that outside corner. All eyes on it!! Its a prominant feature in that shower. Fantastic detail & editing as always Bud. Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
you guys are the best! thanks for taking time and explaining everything in such a great detail!
Im so glad you did a separate video on this topic. Even though you're pretty new at this, everything turned out perfect here and thats what ultimately matters. I'm nowhere near as knowledgable as you are but one thing I just wanted to mention was a product called Tenax epoxy. I don't know too much about this product so PLEASE look deeper into it if you are planning on trying it out maybe. The reason why I mention this product is because I saw someone build a custom fabricated tile sink and use this for all of his mitre joints. After the Tenax epoxy is applied, there is only a waiting time of 15 minutes before taking a sharp blade and cleaning the edges and it looks like it comes off very easily. I thought this might help you save some time or help you in any kind of way. Keep up the amazing work and another great content!!! Cheers!! :) Here's the link if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/1zyTLMTFABg/видео.html
The time line you gave out is what I’ve been looking for. Many guys showing this technique but like you said the timing is everything!! Thank you for that!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT work Liam. The bathroom gives that Spa feeling love it. Happy Holidays...Abrazos
Excellent end-to-end explanation! Thank you!
Bro! your channel has helped me out so much. I was wondering if you would ever do a sketch up video? You mentioned that you draw up your projects. Sick work
Great comentary,, your voice is a pleasure to listen to,,,,, you speak very well.....
Great vid lads 💪
Great job guys! Well done 👍🏻
Great video buddy! You’ve earned a subscriber, very easy listening, clear and instructional.. well done.. tile on brother 😎
I've been plumbing for twenty years and have been looking for a change. Doing the complete bathroom remodel may be the change I'm after.
My plumber has started to work with me for this exact reason.. can only do the same “sh*t” for so long
People don't want to pay more than pennies for tile work these days, stick with plumbing. Trust me. Switch careers now and you'll be eating out of dumpsters. It's insulting the prices that people expect to pay for good work
I'm a plumber of 11 years and got into tiling by doing bathroom jobs. Now I still do both but hate plumbing jobs and love the tiling. Trust me just do it you will be happier. And you can charge a good price once you have a portfolio of your jobs people can see. I charge £250 day rate and I'm getting at least 80% conversion after quoting. Where are you based?
Nice ❤ i am going to try it..
This is amazing work thankyou
Thank you for tips! Great work!
Love it !
Wow amazing job
fantastic!
Sweet bathroom!!
Very Nice !!! thank You for sharing !! I'm at the same point in my tile wall journey.. What an intense project as a homeowner to do 32" x 32" tiled all 4 walls in my master bathroom.. WoW.. one of the hardest projects That I've ever taken on.. Completed gutted the 12'x12' bathroom and installed a Schluter shower.. Now I'm tiling all the walls from floor to ceiling.. Also have a niche.. I'm 58 years old and its wearing me out..
Nice job bro. I am a contractor and I approve this message.
i subscribed. great work.
Love the videos! What type of lighting do you use for your lighted niches? Switch activated or by motion?
This was so helpful! Thanks for taking the time to do this! I just realized I purchased Tenax Rivo 50 (a+b) do you think this will work too?
Looks great. Is it possible to miter the tile on a wet saw?
Ik wou dat ik dit filmpje eerder had gezien
Awesome. Hey what’s your opinion on those new epoxy grouts that come in caulking tubes and are all solid waterproof stain resistant etc.? Perflex for example. Not a lot of info out there about em.
Would be awesome if you lived in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, haha! I can tell you take pride in your work. That is hard to find around here.
Before Epoxy was used in this fashion, were these types of joints done with pure grout or silicone sealant? I can imagine laying one edge down, squirting silicone and pressing down the other edge until it squirts out.
does the epoxy grout work on inside corners?
Bro can handle tiles.
What other type of epoxy can you recommend. The one you use is not available.
What lighting is that ?
Can I put silicone in there instead of epoxy?
Today was an absolute nightmare trying to fill mitres with epoxy resin. It keeps falling out of the mitre when I try to cut and sand the excess back. Tomorrow I will use these tips and hope for the best. Thanks.
I was rude for not mentioning how tidy your work is; very nice dude. 👌
What kind of spacers did you use for the tiles?
It's either the RAIMONDI RLS system or some home depot knock off
Where to buy Tenax string edge in GTA?
You don't happen to know the name/brand of the tile you used by chance?
Hi! Where can I buy the epoxy in GTA please?
Hi there. Did you find some in the GTA?
Imagine if you fall on that edge with your head….but it looks nice who cares
If your miter joints are so tight, why not just use grout? I don’t see the need for epoxy.
Grout will fall out over time as the house expands and contracts
The epoxy looks better as you can “round” the edges
Epoxy adds additional strength
