Over 100 years ago, Harbin was a super city in the Far East. Harbin suddenly gained global attention again this year. Harbin was once a famous industrial city and cultural and artistic center. It is awarded by the United Nations as one of the "Six Music Capitals of the World" and the only "Music Capital" in Asia, on par with Vienna. For over 100 years, Harbin has been known as "Paris of the East" and "Moscow of the East". It once gathered nobles from 28 European countries and had consulates from 23 other countries. In the early 20th century, Harbin's economy, culture, industry, commerce and other fields were very developed. In the early 20th century, Harbin's advanced level far surpassed that of Shanghai. Since the beginning of this year, Harbin has once again attracted global attention and may rise again in the future! Realize great rejuvenation!
will go to heilongjiang on 25 dec using travel tour. my route is dalian, shenyang , changchun, snow town, volga manor, harbin. transit in beijing from my country.

Thanks for the great video! I was wondering 1) Where did you find the tour agency you went ahead with, and roughly how much did it cost 2) Do you think it'll be snowing at the snow town in early-mid December
Easily to Changbaishan West slope from Changchun follow by North slope then back to Harbin with HSR.. West to North slope can get hotel to grab transport, about 2hr. Changbaishan tickets can use both slopes within 24 hrs. Enjoyable.
I would suggest getting the warming clothing before you arrive in Harbin. Where would you be coming from? If you are coming from Beijing or other major cities, you can get them from there.
Hii i’m planning to visit harbin specially for its snow town but i have questions regarding how to hire transportation to take me to snowtown and get me back from snowtown to harbin for someone like me who is going alone without a tour
Hi, it’s around 300km from Harbin to Snow Town. You can take a train, bus or taxi there. My preferred way is to take a tour from Harbin, which is more convenient.
You are right, Genhe in Inner Mongolia is the coldest. Harbin is one of the coldest cities and the coldest major city (tier 1 and 2) in China. Thanks for pointing out. Hope you enjoyed the video!
Hey, The Snow Town is 311km south-east of Harbin City, around 5.5 hours drive away. There is no public transport, so you will need to hire a car or follow a tour bus
Feeling so cold just watching this video. 🥶
