For five months of the year, the mercury rarely hovers above zero. But if you live in Harbin you've got to love winter. The Harbin Ice and Snow Festival features three of the world's most astonishing attractions - Zhaolin Park the home of ice art, Sun Island the home of the snow expo and Ice and Snow World the biggest winter theme park on the planet. Get an inside look as Harbin's army of workers build a theme park bigger than Disneyland and follow some of the world's best ice and snow carvers in their gruelling quest for gold.

I was at Harbin Ice festival. Here it is good to see how they build the ice city. Everyone should strive to go to see Harbin Ice festival before Earth warming stops the festival completely.

Over 100 years ago, Harbin was a super city in the Far East. Harbin suddenly gained global attention again this year. Harbin was once a famous industrial city and cultural and artistic center. It is awarded by the United Nations as one of the "Six Music Capitals of the World" and the only "Music Capital" in Asia, on par with Vienna. For over 100 years, Harbin has been known as "Paris of the East" and "Moscow of the East". It once gathered nobles from 28 European countries and had consulates from 23 other countries. In the early 20th century, Harbin's economy, culture, industry, commerce and other fields were very developed. In the early 20th century, Harbin's advanced level far surpassed that of Shanghai. Since the beginning of this year, Harbin has once again attracted global attention and may rise again in the future! Realize great rejuvenation!

I know the festival is still going, but the tradition started in the 80s. This video is old. I think it is from 2006, because the video somewhere later mentioned that @@ganboonmeng5370
