Belting is my strength like it’s all I really have that shines in my voice. People tell me all the time I’m poor cause I wanna be but I don’t know how. ☹️
I feel like, whenever I go up high, I very much strain, and kinda feels tight in the throat. Plus, I think I'm leading with the chin, at the same time. Thank you for this video! It is much needed!
I can sing up to F5 belt as a male ( chandelier, sia for example ). I'm 20. I try to make my belts to sound as chesty, heavy, grounded, full as possible. I dont want them to be "coreless", light, "baseless" and, heady mix... I can hit "chesty" belts with power and resonance up to D5, then it starts to become lighter and not that grounded but I still have a lot of resonance
Girl I been tried but all the agencies that pay singers to sing gigs, etc, rejected me lol. But I'm working towards making my own music. Got a guitar, audio interface, DAW and mic recently. Learning guitar as well
Tara, please do a reaction to Jada singing "God Help the Outcasts" or "Colors of the Wind"! She is an incredible vocalist that is destined for fame, but currently unknown.

I enjoy you so much, especially your reaction videos. I would love for you to react to David Phelps, End of the Beginning (live). Thank you and God bless!!!
Not everyone wants to hear you shout your face off. Sometimes the audience just wants a simple melody with simple sing along style lyrics! Especially for weddings and corporate events!
Tara you put out good advice but this is gonna lead a bunch of people in the wrong direction. I used to take lessons from a guy that coached Katy Perry before she was famous and the thing he would hammer in my head constantly is that making it in music has a whole lot more to do with how you market yourself and treating it like a business not just a hobby. The reason most songs go viral is because the people that put out those songs have connections and distribution platforms that help to make those songs become a hit. The benefit for all of us is today with the presence of social media as long as you're willing to work hard anyone can grow a RUclips following TikTok following Instagram following etc. and that can be your distribution platform To make your stuff become a hit :)
Lol this makes no sense. There are singers who can't sing those money notes that are making fortunes and singer who can sing them that are earning nothing. What you really need to be a singer professionally, apart from technique, is consistency and stamina.
