The best part is listening to Alyssa give honest thoughts. She doesn't sugar-coat anything. I noticed she has a more involved role in the videos lately.

A few years I found this guy all excited about buying the cheapest used little ev on it's last legs. He charged it as much as he could. And then he just drove it until it ran out of juice. That Nissan Leaf went further than anyone thought.
That passion still shines though. Congratulations.
PS I look forward to a review of the BYD Seagull or Seals🐬. I finally in a position to make the transition myself.

While Alyssa's removal was entertaining, I'm flabbergasted as to why dealers do not remove all the plastic before the buyer takes delivery. Removing all the plastic from my Ioniq 5 was very frustrating!
@@pokerguvna978 I mean they might if you ask. Personally as someone who made a dealer ship my last car 7 hours so I could get it in as new a state as possible I want it as close to rolling off the factory floor as possible.
Really appreciate your content. You do not own stock in any of these EV builders and do not seem overly worried about saying critical things with fear of builders not giving you access to the press fleets/events.
It has been great to watch Out of Spec grow. I question so much media I consume, but your content comes across as legit and that is rare these days.

If Kyle has a S&P 500 index fund like millions of Americans he owns Tesla stock
@@egs2169 I willing to take Kyle at his word. If he has an index fund with Tesla in it, that would be very minor. Most index funds do not have one company as the dominant stock based on percentage of value.
I am sure Kyle has some tiny conflict of interest if you look at everything under a microscope, but compared to the vast majority of media channels doing vehicle reviews he appears to have among the least conflicts of interest and has been very candid about his thoughts on all the vehicles he has reviewed. Many are afraid of hurting the feelings of builders due to losing access to press vehicles and press events.
"media channels" ?, there are media channels? I suppose everyone is making a living covering Tesla. All of the negative ones make more money - they owe their living off of click bait. All "professionals" are negative on everything, news by definition is negative news since decades ago.

Of all the things Tesla didn't enable from the start, the lack of 800v charging is by far my biggest peeve. That's the whole point of the Cybertruck. Tesla's 1st 800v EV.

I took delivery of my Model 3 in 2021 from Jacksonville as well, was a very quick and smooth experience. I turned right out of there then did a U-turn to head back home to Gainesville and instantly did a full send on the throttle. 😂
earned a sub! loving this pro-EV content. Rest of the world seems to hate EV’s. Seems like people love seeing it and brings people together!
I agree the Jacksonville Team is great. I picked up my 2024 Model X Plaid there 2 weeks ago.

I'm not, because it's not real, but I want it to become real. They need to stay in business till they can get it into production, get it ramped, and make money on it. I hope it happens. They look great. And I home they make a sh!t ton of Amazon vans while we wait.

Hi, love all your content but I don't understand paying $122,000 usd and you are still in the Tesla parking lot and picking out problems already. Does Tesla not have a quality control department? Does it not bother you? I live in Montreal Canada and not a rich guy but if I did have the money I think It would really bug me. Thanks again you guys are great!
Even supercars and hyper cars have plenty of problems when delivered.
But I agree Tesla needs to do better with their quality control.

I'm a bit in the same boat as in the design of the CT is not for me (I don't want or need something that big either in my small European city) but I'm glad we're finally going to see different things on the roads: I can't stand the SUV boredom we've been having for 20 years...
I'm also more interested in the tech innovations inside the CT than the aesthetics.

Kyle, the foundations series cyberbeast comes with the required gateway for the PowerShare feature and a $4000 install credit as well I believe. At that point the cyberbeast is now a 9 powerwall battery back up system. That seems to me like an incredibly valuable feature that not many people are talking about. Congratulations and great video.
But only if they approve you to be eligible lol. Should be $4,000 credit towards supercharging and let you keep the PowerShare if you aren’t eligible. Or at least just the money towards charging.
The portable power features are a very big deal for many users.
I think, in the long term, it will be a significant factor in resale value, as people increasingly realize how it works and how well it works.

This truck is the most excited I've been for watching your channel.
This reminds me of when I received my Signature Series Model S in 2012. Lots of things just weren't available yet, like the interior rear deck lid, and rear spoiler (that I decided not to have installed). Also, the software back then was in its infancy. I think I must have gotten 3 updates in the first 6-8 weeks, and some of them dramatically changed the 'personality' of the car (significant changes to the interface). I still miss the old version of the MP3 player that was replaced later. It had the ability to identify songs by artist, album, genre, etc. But it would also play (and randomize) all songs from a given artist, no matter what album they were from. I kept my entire music collection on a USB thumbdrive (a bit more than 65Gb of music) in that car. Just a rant, sorry.

Makes me sad . I had originally planned to trade in my M3P that I bought in 22 when it my cyber truck turn came . I put 20k down and took a low interest (2.9) loan for 66 months . I still owe 37k as when I bought it was at its most expensive ( 63k I remember correctly). According to Tesla it’s worth 23k now with 8k miles and great condition. I’ll delay my cyber truck till I pay off this car . Sell my early reservation or give it to a friend . But I’m not taking a 15k haircut on my M3P . Even if I went through with buy and tried to resell Tesla will come after me for the profit . Love the company but that resale clause would have made me happy as it could have wiped my M3P negative equity .

The Silverado is the most interesting truck
Definitely NOT a work truck like the Cyber truck will be. You won't see that Silverado electric truck being used by a real working man with a real work job. The CT is practical for contractors.
