Dear Sara, you are such a good teacher❤😘👍...i have finished this scarf in black and white. My husband was so exited that he sayes to me he needs such a scarf too.😏So i Start now to make a second one. Greetings from Germany, Simone Schmitz 😘❤❤
I did a blanket about 30 years ago, it was so very warm! Love your teaching style. Thanks for all your wonderful tutorials. I still go to that 3 layer potholder, one of my favorites.
Sara, this will make for a very warm scarf with car ring over the ends!!! And no weaving in ends!!! I'm excited for all the different color combos!!! 💐💌🙌🌹👍
I have done this stitch in a afghan but did not know the name of the stitch. Love the way you carried the yarn. Scarf looks great can't wait for the hat. Have a great day.
I alway thought houndstooth stitch was pretty but would be hard. Thank you so much for your tutorial. I would love to make these for gifts for Christmas
Thank you Sara for your help, I'm working at it again and so far so good. I wasn't pulling it or stretching it out like you were doing at the end of the row and I just need to pay attention.Again thank you for getting back to me, you're awesome teacher!:))
I love this scarf! Thank you Sara! I didn’t care for the black, for some reason, but, I love it in the red! I’m going to start this for a friend who loves houndstooth! 💕
The houndstooth is such a timeless and classic fashion design. Thank you for sharing this tutorial and for eliminating the dreaded ends to weave in, or at least minimizing it.
Hi Sara,i love this pattern but im having a little problem i know its all me. Can you suggest what i need to do? I start nice and straight then it goes narrow i have same number or stitch and i know the stitches are not tight or loose but it still getting narrow i frog my work twice already. Any suggestions, thank you in advance.
You are probably changing your tension without realizing it. If you have the right about of stitches on each row. Also Make sure you are not pulling the carry over yarn too tightly, that can effect the tension also.
Sara Sach oh thank you so much. I see it. Your wonderful. I’m going to make this for a lady I know who is very underappreciated. She won’t be expecting it and I know that will make her very happy. Thank you

Sara Sach You’re welcome
That's a pretty stitch. Can be used for male or female scarves
Yes, it can.
I’d love to learn how to turn the houndstooth pattern into a poncho! Any advice?
I have not tried that, but I think it would be lovely.
can you make a cowl with the same stitch
Sure just make it as long as you want and stitch the ends together.
