Can't wait to try this! The effect is amazing--from just two simple stitches. So clever!

    Smart looking!👏
I'm with you - a gazillion ends is so off-putting!🙄
I'm making a navy and white scarf using this stitch, but I tweaked it just a smidgen.
I just decided to not cut the navy yarn at the end of the first row. For the second row, I started the white yarn from the other end, then I picked up the navy at the end of the white row.
I plan to do a sc border in navy to cover the small bits of yarn showing when I switch colors and carry the yarn up the sides.☺

This is a really pretty stitch I call this Crunch Stitch(I don’t know if this is the name or not but that what I call it) Most people prefer to carry the year behind the working yarn I don’t I weave in my tails, My son has a California king I’m going to make it into a blanket for his bed & put a plain trim instead of r the ruffled one

Love this stitch! Is it possible to run the second color up the side, rather than stitching over it?

If u use color changing yarn u wouldn't see the houndstooth pattern
