I left this squares for harry styles cardigan because i didnt know how to make them and you save my life thank you
- if you have a hard time remembering If you did single or double just go 1 then 2 1,2,1,2 I for single and 2 for double it helped me work faster and remember the stitch
This helped me so much I absolutely love the hound tooth Stitch I think it's a beautiful stitch you made it so easy to understand , I'm making a special scarf with this pattern

So this is just lemon peel stitch, but with two colors. I was so skeptic about the houndstooth stitch and always got discouraged to do it but now that i know, i find it so easy.

I'm working on the houndstooth for the harry styles sweater! I have all the squares for the other colors done, and this is the last set left. This is my first time crocheting the houndstooth and it was super easy to follow along, thanks so much!
This was explained really well. Doing my Harry styles cardigan now, 8 squares done out of 72. Is it just me or this took so long to do, like one square took me 2 hours, then again its my first time doing this type of stitch

For woven in tails i like to tug just a little bit on it trim it pretty close to the fabric and then pull the fabric back to its original form to make sure there is none hanging out and to also make sure i dont accidentally cut my work and have to weave in some more.

Thank you so much for the tutorial but I have a question
I want to make a skirt using this stitch so can I make it round? Like if I don't go back and forth I just slip stitch to the last row, chain one and continue for the next row would it look differente or the same? And in that case I believe that I don't have to carry the other color with me because I'll be back to the same point that I left the yarn at

What did you mean when you said the size of the hook should match the weight?
When you look at the yarn label it usually recommends a hook size. I suggest using the hook size suggested. Hope that helps

hey Kristen! what happens when you end on a single crochet instead of a double?
Vianne Buinguyen you may have skipped a chain or didn’t chain enough. I would pull it back to make sure you establish your foundation chain with the right number to start. Once you have the first two rows done it is easier to make sure it all lines up because all singles go on a double from the row before and doubles on singles.

I wouldn’t since it will be reversible and flat if you go through both loops.
