    ☆ intro: Setup & Materials (00:00)
☆ part 1: The Patches (1:23) *the longest part lol
    ☆ part 2: Ribbing (13:44)
    ☆ part 3: The Patch-Up (16:08)
    ☆ part 4: Joining the Panels (18:30)
    ☆ part 5: Attach the Ribbing (19:43)
    ☆ part 6: The Button Band (20:47)
    ☆ part 7: The Collar (24:07)
    ☆ bonus: The Shrink (26:03)
    ➢ MATERIALS:
    - J/10 6 mm crochet hook
    - darning needle
    - 6 buttons
    - red heart medium worsted acrylic yarn (198 grams=1 skein): burgundy (3 skeins), black (2 skeins), carrot (1 skein), paddy green (1 skein)
    - i used lion brand for the yellow and blue yarn, but i had trouble finding the actual colors i used, so here are red heart colored yarns that are really close: red heart - lemon (1 skein), pool (1 skein)
    - P.S. *each patch is about 5x5 inches or 13x13 cm! and don’t worry about making all of them the size size, as long as they’re pretty close, you’re good to go!!
Making this cardigan and this video is the longest I've ever spent on a video, along with the many complications of editing, but I finally present to you my attempt of creating the iconic Harry Styles JW Anderson cardigan. Split into seven parts, I show you how I crochet the patches, join them together, create panels, and add on finishing touches such as ribbing and the collar. I used the knitting pattern released by JW Anderson as a guide, but the majority of this cardigan is just me winging it. And despite my neutral and b&w color scheme that I follow through religiously, it exceeded my expectations and happens to be my favorite funky, chunky cardigan I own.

heads up for anyone making this! i am about 5'5.5" and around 145lbs. this cardigan comes to my hip bones! it is a lot shorter than it appears on the video creator. it fits like a cropped jacket or sweater.
(i used size 6mm yarn, 80% acrylic 20% wool if that makes a difference. it does stretch but it is a lot shorter than i believed it was going to end up. keep this in mind if you want something long! add another row to the back/front panels)

definitely the best tutorial i’ve seen! you explain things so well compared to other people who don’t explain how to do the actual stitch, i’m also a beginner so it really helps when you explain what your doing bc idk what the ppl in other videos are doing half the time lol

Just so you know this video and your channel inspired me to try to crochet again after completely giving up on it. I wanted to one day make a cardigan like this one. I'm sitting at home comfy and warm in my brand-new homemade cardigan I crocheted all by myself! So thank you very much, and I hope you have a lovely day

id recommend if ur making this to block ur squares before attaching them together! (basically u stretch the squares and pin them to something and spray it with water so that they hold their shape) this rlly helps bc u can make sure all the squares are the same size since ur using different stitches

So I made this sweater because I love harry. This was the first thing I ever crocheted and it was honestly pretty easy for a beginner. I made two sweaters one for me and one for my best friend. It took me about 24 days to make about 150 squares and put both of the sweaters together (i also decided to make matching bags). I think the tutorial was REALLY good, it made it really easy to learn all the types of stiches. thank you so much for making it :)

I ended up changing a bunch of stuff about it to suit my taste (same colors but darker, swapping out the Elizabeth stitch for an alpine stitch because I don't wanna be too chilly) but honestly would not have survived without this pattern and tutorial. Thank you!!
