    (i used size 6mm yarn, 80% acrylic 20% wool if that makes a difference. it does stretch but it is a lot shorter than i believed it was going to end up. keep this in mind if you want something long! add another row to the back/front panels)

I have made a few bulky yarn scarves and slouchy beanies from watching your videos. If I decide to crochet the next one, ( that’s if there is a next one😆😝🤣) I will choose different colors obviously, and use your video. Love your soothing background music and your cute voice! Count the stitches, make sure you have the same amount every row. That helped me a lot when I was learning. Also be careful with those gaps at the beginning. A lot of these tutorials say to skip stitches in the beginning of the row, that’s were I used to mess up and it would also look like a triangle. The only thing that worked for me was not skipping stitches unless it was crucial for the pattern, and counting them to make sure I had the same amount on every row.

    • @ItsMeShanalee
      @ItsMeShanalee 3 года назад +1

      @@jannyg1994 that’s exactly what was happening! Some holes wer smaller than the next so it messed with my eyes and I skipped a couple here or there. The ends are definitely tricky for me, sometimes they want to round almost circular so I’m trying to nail it in the neatness dept. lol it’s all up to practice iguess !! Thank you for your comment!

    String size does make a difference. My yarn only looked a little bit bigger than hers so I didn’t think it would be an issue but my patches where being 7x7 instead of 5x5. At least I caught it in time but just a heads up… or idea if you want it bigger.
