    Beautiful bat wing sweater! It's amazing how the modest single crochet results in dainty, soft and elegant no fuzz piece. Adorable! Thanks for the tutorial, Sylvia.

      Right. And I would probably add a neck ribbing as well. Love this pattern though, it's a good basic pattern to embellish to your liking.

    Very nice sweater. So cute. I'm thinking Caron Simply soft might be a good, comparable yarn to use for this project as well. I've used the soft secret before and it's a very nice yarn. It works up beautifully. Great job! Thank you for the idea...😊

    I've been looking forever for a pattern to follow for a coat I want to make and this is perfect! I was just wondering if it's possible to add pockets? I was thinking I'd do the front panel as two separate ones to be able to add a zipper in the middle but I'm stumped on the pockets. Its my first time ever making myself a clothing item (I mostly crochet amigurumi as gifts) so I figured it's better to ask someone who definitely knows way more than I do 😅
    Thank you for the video either way, it really is perfect for what I was envisioning and I'm more excited than ever to start! 😄

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  2 года назад

      Hi Corey. Did you possibly add this comment to the wrong video? You're asking about a coat and this is a bat wing sweater. If this is going to be your first garment I would suggest following the pattern as written. I do have some "coats" and jackets here: ruclips.net/video/K5J5fnxhNjY/видео.html ruclips.net/video/lKMFmvrqexs/видео.html ruclips.net/video/6bG9HaIhEus/видео.html ruclips.net/video/irhVzLXIYF4/видео.html

      @coreybaldwin2500 2 года назад

      @@CrazyCoolCrochet I tend to use coat and sweater interchangeably 😅 I apologize for the confusion! I appreciate the response and I do plan on following the pattern for the most part, I just wanted to be able to zip it to make it more comfortable for myself. Regardless, the silhouette of this sweater is absolutely perfect and I'm really relieved and happy I found this video!

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  2 года назад +1

      @@coreybaldwin2500 Ohhh. Ok. Got it. Well I'm thrilled that you like this design. Enjoy! I hope it works with the zipper and pockets. This is designed to be shorter so there really isn't space for pockets. If you want small, decorative pockets it could work. Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/742EJ6p_zDI/видео.html

    I love this sweater. I'm making the 2X size cause I love making big/comfy sweaters. I have a question? When I start working on row 42 to the end of the sweater I should have a total of 81 rows. Is this correct

      If you're asking if it can be sized for kids...I suppose so. If you're asking if I will size this for kids...probably not. My channel is known for women's crochet wearables and home decor. Thank you for asking.

      I always leave the detail regarding how much yarn was used in the "description area", the white space below the video. Also it is always on the blog with the written pattern: crazycoolcrochet.com/crochet-bat-wing-sweater/ For you: 1200 yards

    Hi,
    This looks like an extremely easy pattern to follow but I just have some questions..
    What size were you wearing in the beginning??
    And also, if you want to make this oversized, or longer do you add more straight rows, or more increase rows.??

    • @CrazyCoolCrochet
      @CrazyCoolCrochet  Год назад +1

      I'm wearing the size small. If you want to make it oversized and longer you can add rows to the increase rows. Hope this helps.
