It seems that most places are out of stock already, and from my understanding it’s a limited run, so they’re probably gone. Any hope of Fox making more “limited runs”? 😬

    what i would wish for is a series on the shim stack tuning. when in bought my bike it came with a light tuning. after having massive bottom out problems even with full spacers and hsc set to a point which is a big no no i went to the fox support an after a few talks it turned out the manufacturer of my bike did a custom light shim stack tuning. send my shock in. they reshimed it to medium and now everything is fine. honestly a light tuning should only be allowed if a customer wishes for it. this issue did cost me a lot of nerves and nearly lost my hope into fox products

    • @iM3rLiNi
      @iM3rLiNi 4 года назад

      when is say massive bottom out problem i'm talking about a x2 230x60 300 psi 5 spacer and hsc 3 clicks from fully closed problem. wrong shim stack tuning as wished from the bike manufacturers. so no fox problem itself but would be worth a video how this can affect the overall performance

    This question is for Jordi, will the Fox 38 fix the issue with creaky stansions in the CSU. It's amasing to me that both Fox and Rockshox have such a weak construction of their forks. I have a friend that has replaced the whole upper part of the fork including the steertube, CSU and stantions 4 times on his Fox 36. I've done the same thing twice on my Rockshox Yari.
    We are both big guys at around 100kg and we ride enduro/bike park and we need a fork that can take a punch!!
    Is the Fox 38 the answer to our prayers?

    Jordi @Jordi Cortes, setup question. How do you recommend changing your susp. settings for a trail with steep rocky chutes? I have tried decreasing my sag in the fork and increasing lowspeed damping in the fork. My goal is to have more support so my front wheel is less likely to dive or get caught in a hole. Am I on the right track? Any further recommendations to increase confidence in this situation. Thanks!!

    My local shop charges ~$550 CAD parts/labour for fork + shock + seat post rebuilds. Fox recommends this be done once a year at the least. I have 2 bikes so this adds up quickly to ~$1000+/year on suspension service.
    Question:
    Does a full rebuild need to be done yearly, if not how can I tell when I need a full rebuild?
    I'm going to start servicing the fork myself but shock/seat post look intimidating. Any other tips or suggestions to save cash?
    Thanks Jordi and Dialed! You own!

    • @dominikgrbac1764
      @dominikgrbac1764 4 года назад

      If you ride regularly than once a year for a complete rebuild. And the small services like lower leg service for the fork and an air can service for the shock maybe every 2/3 months. But it depends on the weather conditions and how often you ride a bike. If you ride it every day for 6 hours than you should be fine with the service times i mentioned above, but if you ride it less often let's say maybe 3 times a week, than you can do small services every 4 months. But those numbers are just suggestions. Cheers from Croatia

      @@dominikgrbac1764 Thanks for the suggestion! I guess performance and time are the key. I'm going to try learn as much as I can but fuck do those damper/spring rebuilds look tedious! Also need to budget all the tools I lack :(
