    The black (over)spray paint tip is great! Something you might also consider is leather dyes. They can work really well on wood and they mix up into just about any colour you could ever want.

  • @DavZell
    @DavZell 9 месяцев назад +5

    You might want to try keeping a black stain around. Mixed in low proportion with the other stain, it will darken it, but the shade will be more controllable and the application more even.

      Yea, I am about maxed for space. I plan to get a few small colored stains. I have got to find a darker brown for sure. I have every color that my local store carries.

    Over the weekend, this video stayed in my mind and I made something similar, but gaming related. I've only had my laser set up a very short time and I'm learning as I go, but I am SO proud of how it turned out! I can't wait to make some more! Thank you!

    Nice video. One thing I really liked that you probably didn't think about is what script font you used. I have been looking for a nice, "weldable" script font. I just downloaded that one. I would be interested, and I assume other too, to hear what your favorite fonts are to use in laser projects. Thanks again for all the effort you put into your channel as well as your LEO service!

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  9 месяцев назад

      My taste in fonts can differ from the customers. I usually let them pick but some customers just have me pic. It depends on the theme or flavor of the project.

    Great video, great project. I’m surprised more people don’t paint the material first then do the laser cutting but I’m somewhat new to laser cutting. Seems like a no brainer to me but maybe I’m not thinking correctly. Any comments about this?

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  9 месяцев назад

      Just don’t want the gasses from burning paint to mess with the lens, also you can get discolored paint around the cut and have to paint again.
