I think the RMR dual illuminated 12.9 amber triangle or 7 moa dot would be my choice for a red dot. No batteries/electronics. Pallet of Ammo and body armor
I have a DD M401 RSIII with the same set up pretty much. I’m running an ACOG by itself, don’t really feel the need for a 1X red dot. My only concern is that I have to run the ACOG all the way back on the rail, not leaving space for a flip up sight. Are you running flip up sights on your KAC? I’m also running a surefire Turbo 640 but not pressure pads. I don’t quite trust those pressure pads….. You have quite a nice set up!
This is almost identical to my setup. Only major difference is the optic setup...I went with the TA110 Green Horseshoe with the ACRO P2 top mounted (wager machine low mount). I highly recommend you snag a OneHundredConcepts HexCap for the ACRO. :)
Sweet setup how has your Inforce light help up so far? I have the small 600 lumen model that I bought a few years ago and I haven’t used it yet, I want to mount it on my Tavor TS12.
Way too many automobiles aka intermediate barriers and long distances in CONUS for 5.56 to be very effective. 7.62 MBRs for the win, turning cover into concealment since the 1950’s.
How much does that weigh? If you can take the weight great, but that's looking like 10 pounds. Take it for a 5 mile hump and see how much is left afterwards.
@@makevelicustomsNo rifle is 100% reliable, no matter how much you spend. I have an Anderson that I paid $440 for, out the door....it's been "100% reliable" thru 3k rounds.
Just so we’re clear you don’t need a $3,000 KAC. BCM will do everything for less than half of that. Also a 45 degree offset is pointless, learn to shoot with both eyes open as Bindon intended. Keep it simple stupid works.
if it lacks a silencer, a subsonic ammo option, wont take down and conceal in a grocery sack, and a 22lr conversion unit, it's weak. with the priority going to the silencer. If shtf, 99% of the human population will be dead in a year, you'll have to have a year's supply of food, scatter-buried at your BOL. ASAP, once the lights go out (and STAY out) you've got to dig a tunnel and stay in it for a year, Then, at night, using night vision, it will be 100x safer to tend hidden plots of peanuts, root veggies and sprouts. The stored food, produce and livestock will all be gone in a month. The fish and game will be gone in another month. The known-edible plants and cats and dogs will be gone by day 90 and the cannibalism will start in-earnest. You can't be out and about in daylight. You can't make noise and you can't show a light at night, or you'll get shot within a month. of day 90 and probably a lot sooner than that
I did see a burn down video of the Knights only lasting 500 and something rounds in full auto before the barrel blew out. It was one of the lowest round counts of all the rifles in the burndown series
@efrenrodriguez741 cool, but if you can choose wouldn't you choose the rifle that CAN shoot 500 rounds of full auto over the rifle that can't? Especially if the one that can has equal or better features and is cheaper? ....seems like a no Brainerd to me, but go ahead and keep clinging to brand loyalty for a company that does not even know you exist.
@TheArmedScotsman Have you seen NutnFancy video on the Sr15 he could not get the thing to shoot better then like 4-5 inch groups. Or the Melt down video that the other guy in the comment section is talking about. I stand by my statement KAC=EXPENSIVE TRASH

Mine SHTF is a Noveske 11.5 with a Aimpoint T-2 and Aimpoint magnifier, Cloud Defense Reign 3.0 , Silencerco Hybrid 46 can.
Very nice. I currently have a IWI Zion as my SHTF rifle. But, I'm working on a couple other builds that can fill this role as well.
The IWI Zion is a great choice!
Wow, nice rifle set up, thanks
Very nice looking rifle That's pretty awesome for an s h f t rifle.
Nice I run a knights 16 inch as well but I have a nightforce atacr, peq 15, Surefire scout and the flip to side voodoo s thermal
I just bought the ATACR 1-8.
I have an AK and Stribog... But not sure which I'd grab first, probably my Stribog due to size.

Nice! I’d love mine to be modular, being able to use 5.56 and .308. Possibly a Desert Tech MDRX, which is CA compliant.
Now that we know you have money what would you suggest for your budget build

I'll check them out!
That’s pretty much how my night gun and main squeeze are setup. I just run geissele and bcm.
I need a ACOG for one of my AR's. That would be my go to also a knights.
Can you tell the barrel profile on sr15?
Think I'm grabbing the NV.. Suppressed version ✌🏼
Another great video!!!
Thanks
My SHTF Rifle has got to be my FN SCAR 17S, with a Trijicon 1-6 VCOG and In-Force WMLx Gen 3 1100 Lumens light.
Love the SCAR 17!

What brand is the kill flash for the Trijicon and Aimpoint?
Trijicon Kill Flash and aimpoint Kill Flash. Both made by themselves.
Shaffer machining makes a sliding window for the fiber optic on an acog
I'll check them out! Thanks
Love these kind of vids

uh-huh. I'm pretty sure people get killed in America with 556 than 762 on the reg NOW let alone after the collapse.
Clicked this expecting to hear a Scottish accent lol
I've been here 20 years, and the accent is well going lol
might want a killflash on your watch and flashlight also just for consistency?
That is a bonnie rifle sir, nice job!
It sure is, lad!
SR15 14.5” p&w OSS HX-QD 556ti can, Badger 1.93” w/t2@12:00, Kahles k18i, fp peq 15, modlight.

It's actually pretty lightweight. The acog and acro P2 weigh less that pretty much any LPVO on the marked.
@@TheArmedScotsmanSo how much it weigh with a loaded mag ?
What part of Scotland are you from??
West Coast, near Glasgow.
Thats hilarious your rifle build is worth more than my harley

Bro just casually whips out a $10,000 rifle setup…. For all you broke fuckers like me in the comments, just buy the LWRC or BCM.
I actually paid the msrp.for this rifle, so $2,500. BCM and LWRC are fantastic options.
@@TheArmedScotsman That’s a great price. I see SR-15s going for like $3,100!

Just need the mcq

No hate, but in a real fire fight you’ll never go through 500 rounds full auto without stopping. Unrealistic test
