Sold who? Sure you got a haul for Soto but that team was pretty old to begin with. Rendon was a free agent, you weren’t resigning Max to that crazy deal Cohen gave him. Alright I’ll give you Trea Turner, but Ruiz and Gray are solid pieces. Seems to me like the sales brought back a solid core of young guns to work with.

Game 7 of the 2016 World Series is one of the greatest games of baseball ever played. It's got everything. The blowout, the insane comeback, the implosion of the best pitcher in the game, extra innings, and the small ball out that ended the longest drought in the history of professional sports.

Mostly a great video, so many amazing moments. That said, the fact that the homeruns by Tino Martinez and Scott Brosius in games 4 and 5 of the 2001 World Series weren't included is mind-blowing. Back-to-back nights, down 2 runs with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th in clearly must-win games, and they both hit a 2-run homer to tie the game and keep them in the series - later going on to win both games (one of them on the Jeter homerun shown in the video). I'd never witnessed anything like it before; I still get chills every time I see them. And the only thing I've seen since that compares is game 6 of the 2011 Series (included in the video). Considering some of the other far less important moments included - like a grand slam in the 2nd inning of a game - the exclusion of those season-preserving homeruns, down to the last out on back-to-back nights, is baffling.

Don't get me wrong, I am a Nats fan, so my favorite saying is "Bang Foul Poles, Not Trash Cans", but I really don't think the scandal had anything to do with the absolute epic nature of the game vs the Dodgers that I referenced. There were certainly no examples of cheating that were pulled from that game. And let's be sober about sign-stealing in the first place...it has been going on since there have been signs passed between catchers and pitchers, so like, since the late 1800's. The person who made this is obviously a huge Astros fan. Every 3rd clip or so was Houston... For a team that only has 2 WS rings in history, that's alot.

Should have shown Reggie Jackson strike out to end the game in 78. I still see clips of my young self jumping up and down when ever I see highlights of that.

"Excellent mix, I was hooked with your lead entry. Thank you..
I particularly enjoyed your black and white inclusions. Most such mixes tend to be too-recently biased or show the usual suspects. Substituting Henrich, in '49 for smething from '47, and highlighting Rhodes rater than Willie in '54 was inspired. Is that Gil McDougald's Grand Slam in the Polo Grounds? It is not Tony Lazzeri.
Mickey's 1964 Game 3 walk-off belongs. Having shown several Grand Slams, following Mantle's Game 3, Ken Boyer. Boyer's Game 4 Grand Slam would have been a nice touch. It was the "Hit of the Series" although BBReference listsTom Tresh's HR in the next game, won by McCarver's extra-inning game winner.) (I'm prejudice. From St Louis, I was thirteen years old, sitting with my Dad in the bleachers at Sportsman's Park for Game 7. Mantle's last WS home run landed a few sections away. So did Boyers' both Kan and Clete as the only brothers to homer in the same WS game.)
I've lived in the Bay Area since 1978. Joe Rudi's catch was fun. Speaking of Grand Slams, Will Clark off Greg Maddux in Wrigley during the 1987 NLCS is worthy. (He had a great NLCS.) Travis Ishikawa belongs. The double play start by Joe Panik paved the way for Bumgarner's historic performance. But the double play was historic as being the first World Series managerial replay challenge (and winner). That is merely my opinion and Nit picking. You did yourself proud. Thank you, again"

The DOdgers should have won the 2017 and 2018 World Series. Also the Brewers should have beaten the nationals in the 2019 wild card game. Houston always has a problem in the playoffs.
