I was watching the cubs game at Kelly’s bar in NY when Montero hit a grand slam. Everyone was jumping, screaming, and hugging. It was that night I felt like the Cubs can actually win it all. What a year it was.
As a Guardians/Indians fan, watching that 8th inning home run in game 7 makes me want to cry. We were so close. I guess the Cubs deserved it though. No team deserves a drought that long. I just hope our drought doesn't reach the century mark like the Cubs did.
