As a Jays fan, I appreciate the Blue Jays representation. Us Toronto sports fans get extremely loud and spirited no matter what sport... Baseball, basketball, hockey (when the Leafs seem like they won't choke), and pro wrestling. I would contend that Joe Carter's home run had to be one of the loudest... i was too young to be there at the Dome that night, but watching the footage it seems like the MLB sound people didn't anticipate how loud Jays fans would be, and the microphones clipped and distorted the sound when the fans realized it was gone, leading to them having to really find a way to adjust in real time. I'm guessing if it was Dome Productions (the SkyDome/Rogers Centre in-house production company) handling that would have been mixed properly... but i don't think even they could have ever anticipated a World Series Championship walkoff and the jubliance that would ensue, and just two years before, Carter had another walk-off to win the AL East.

Joe Carter's homer to win the World Series was hands-down the LOUDEST crowd reaction ever.

I've noticed majority of the loud noise comes when the Indians/Guardians play, but ever since they been going to the playoffs! A rocking Jacobs Field/Progressive Field will always be loud! So, loud that you can hear the crowd roar all the way on 55th & Woodland!
