This ABANDONED House Was UNTOUCHED For Years | SHOCKING Lawn Transformation

  • I was driving around to see if there was anyone in need of any lawn care help and stumbled upon this abandoned house. I knocked on the door and nobody answered. By the old, beat up, scrappy look of the house, I was certain it was abandoned. I knocked on the neighbors homes and they didn't answer. So I just gave the lawn a quick makeover to make the appearance of the neighborhood better. Unfortunately, the backyard was locked up. Nice house, sad to see it go to waste.

@leonardo migot it might dull the blades a little but running over the pine cones won’t damage them. They also clean out the underside of the deck nicely. Just make sure your shooting away from houses and people because that would break a window or hurt if someone got hit.

Personally, I would take a small Utility tractor with a small brush hog to mow all of this down with. Raise the height of the brush hog as the brush hog would scatter all the grass shavings all over the place in throughout the yard. A sharp mowing blade makes all the difference in the world. Watching this, your go cart mower cuts the grass to a small degree, yet the grass is still not cut and you had to back up and mow it again. Don't those go cart mowers have a height adjustment on them that you can raise the mower deck up on them? I was never a fan of those go cart mowers, they are an accident ready to happen, and there has been many people who has gotten killed on them presently and in the past. Ralph Nader, whare are you when we need you?

As an avid gardener, and mower, I appreciate it when you respect the flowers and perennials. Yesterday I watched a video where the guy weed whacked a big bed of irises. It wasn’t weed infested either. I know most people don’t know what a perennial looks like when not in bloom. And perennials come back every year even if you mow them, but irises are storing energy from their leaves into the bulbs to bloom next year. Anyway I had to unsubscribe. I LOVE that you speed things up a lot. I’ve seen people put up 2 hour videos. Ain’t nobody got time for that!!! 🤣🥰

I also tend to take 1/2 passes so there is more clear space under the deck to mulch and build lift. Although dont know if it would help on that high of grass and weeds.

    Question:
    1. How much gas did this job use?
    2. What would your normal charge for this be?
    3. Do you have a crew that works on yards, but just do these videos solo?
    4. Appreciate no ads, but why not speak on what equipment you use? Equipment makers would pay you for the exposure.
    5. Why electric on weed eater vs gas? What your using looks very effective.
    6. Are you using plastic or metal string on weed eater? Gauge?
    7. Do you get permission to trim bushes and trees?
    8. Any encounters with snakes/varmits? This place should have been declared a wildlife area by the state.
    9. Has any homeowner been critical of the work after you’ve finished?
10.Do you ever go back to make a second pass a week or two later?

There was a TV series called The Lone Ranger, back in the 1950s. At the end of the show, the Lone Ranger jumped on his horse, and rode off. Someone would ask, "Who was that masked man?" Another person replied, "That was the Lone Ranger."
When you get into your truck, and drive off, someone asks, "Who was that man who mowed the lawn?" Someone replies, "That was the Lawn Ranger." I watched to the end, btw.

I think seeing someone do what they love is one of the most beautiful things in the world! You're not doing it for the views or for the money(only) you do it because it makes you feel good doing a good job

I love your videos and got my husband watching. I know the next door neighbors are so happy but it just amazes me no one else cared to mow this yard.
You are a good man, thanks for making a difference!😂

You do an amazing job. Love your videos. Some weeds just refuse to go down on the first, and sometimes the second pass over, no matter how sharp the blades are.

Great job on this yard. Unbelievable that it was left to go like this. I am sure the neighbours are beyond thrilled that you tackled this mess. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wish we had someone like you in my city in Maine. I live in a cute neighborhood with one apartment house with an owner that does not care that the grass has not been mowed once this year. It is so discouraging for neighbors that really try to keep their yards looking decent.

I live in North Pole, Alaska, and I'm hoping that I can mow today, it's rained everyday for the past 3 days. And it's +91° where you are, I'll try to send some of our cold weather,...it's +53°f outside at 11:30am.
We might get up to +65°, I'm hoping so 🙏.

I have the exact Zero Turn mower. Best thing ever. I am disabled and have 6 acres that needs mowing a few times a month, it is like sitting an a Lay zee Boy! One of the best way to keep squatters out of your neighborhood is to keep abandoned homes from looking Abandoned. If we all put a little time in to help each other, by keeping lawns mowed on abandoned properties, it would be great.
