Kevin and I found an OVERGROWN lawn. This property had a CITY VIOLATION AND a DIFFERENT contractor then tried to clean up but left it a mess. After a long day of cutting grass, edginging sidewalks, pulling vines and trimming shrubs we got this property whipped back into shape. Best part is we kept the homeowner from getting a fine. To GOD be the glory and thank you for taking time to watch our content. We GREATLY appreciate it.

@@itshisturf23 the owner did not want it cut back completely or removed? I would have cut off the tree stump as well. The yard looks so good after you finished.

As an elderly person myself with a bad back (my doctor has informed me that I’m not a spring chicken any more 🤣) I’m still mowing and weed eating my lawn, but have to take it in steps now. Weed eat the front and sides, weed eat the back yard (much bigger with fence and shed) mow the front and sides, and mow the back. I usually spend a couple hours in my whirlpool bath tub after every section. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to do it but I haven’t hit that wall yet. I have to wear a back brace and knee braces for all of it. My daughter lives here and since she’s gone back to work I’ve taken back over the yard work. Her and her brother work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week. It’s all my son can do to keep his yard and the empty rental property next door mowed.

This is a tough and tall yard, with some parts dry and some very overgrown. You are doing amazing 👏 work to help this person. It must have been difficult for the owner to see the yard decay and not be physically able to fix it. Really well done.

Got to take care of the mowers! Cut however works right for you. My elderly mother lived in Hot Springs, AR up to about 1 year from her passing from this life. I think of her when I see a house with elderly resident that you and/or Fall River are so kindly helping! May God richly bless all involved in helping this lady with her yard and grounds. Thanks for dragging out those big weeds! Wish I were there to help you at 19:40. Wasps might have been factor in contractor abandoning the job. After shots look simply wonderful!!

That grass looks like thatch. Dethatching was my job 50 years ago. At that young age it was fun, because I did it yearly, not a big job, plus the body and lungs were young. Also, that has crabgrass in it. Horrible stuff.

this was very kind of you. Please do a referral to the county because this elderly woman should not be on her own. She can't keep up the property and needs a county caseworker to follow her. It is tragic and will soon grow to its original state.
