You should offer the can without the mount or flash hider for those of us that are going to use a different mount and don’t want pay the extra money for something we’re not going to use.
I am waiting for my Form 1 approval on my Velos LBP 762- The guy at the gun store told me I would never need to do any kind of cleaning maintenance...is that correct?
Are there any issues with gas pressure on the Velos LBP, with an 11.5 inch barrel on an SBR? 11.5 is short enough to be very violent at the muzzle with a ton of unburnt powder, that could conceivably cause baffle erosion?
While baffle erosion will always be more intense on SBR's you won't have to worry about it with the Velos LBP for two reasons. 1. The Velos utilizes an inconel 625 core and our patented Hoplon Blast Baffle that significantly reduces erosion. 2. We have the best warranty in the business so should you somehow run into issues we've got your back.

I *STILL* love your Specwar 556 on my 11.5". But this is really grabbing my interest. How would muzzle and at-ear suppression look for the Velos compared to the Specwar 556? I tend to find that, with the Vltor A5 system, LMT EBCG, and SLR Ti adjustable gas block, that my rig is quieter than any 11.5" with the SF RC2 I've yet fired. Both for bystanders and at the ear. I am hoping Velos does this without having to essentially build the entire gun around the can.
We have yet to reach a limited round count for the Velos. We have well over 10k rounds through our test units. The Velos is also constructed in a way that it can be repaired via warranty should you ever run into a failure point.

The short answer is the average person will never have to worry about cleaning a well made rifle suppressor. Should you insist on cleaning the baffles you can plug the bottom end of the suppressor with something like a rubber plug and fill the suppressor with CLR from the top. Let it soak for a day, drain, rinse with water, let dry, and shoot. Avoid getting CLR on any of the painted or treated surfaces on the outside of the suppressor as this can strip the finish off.
If you already have a flash hider muscle device and does the internal one on the suppressor work better or does the external cat work better which one would work better and let’s say you wanted to use a muzzle break instead of the flash hatter, but yet you still wanted to use the flash hatter in cat what kind of combination would you get there as far as the flash or what is the best combination for flash suppression that you currently make

Plot twist: it would be the same price just without that extra hardware.
Capital armory does offer the option to remove the muzzle device to reduce the cost, still get the can side mount though.

It depends on the barrel length, anything over a 10” barrel I don’t notice any flash at all, also it shoots very flat

I’m familiar removable baffles, wondering how does one go about cleaning a welded core ?
A welded core is much stronger to hold up to high pressures created by center fire rifle cartridges. The pressure also does a great job of breaking up and expelling carbon buildup with each shot. The short answer is the average person will never have to worry about cleaning a well made rifle suppressor. Should you insist on cleaning the baffles you can plug the bottom end of the suppressor with something like a rubber plug and fill the suppressor with CLR from the top. Let it soak for a day, drain, rinse with water, let dry, and shoot. Avoid getting CLR on any of the painted or treated surfaces on the outside of the suppressor as this can strip the finish off.
