Just bought a Hybrid 46M and a Sparrow 22 as my first suppressors. Those two cover all the calibers I plan on ever using. They'll probably get out of jail sometime in 2023.

So where’s the piston go in the suppressor with spring in it? Trying to figure out how this goes on my ruger 450. And yes I have the 5/8x 24 adapter. Sorry for asking but I’ve never owned one before.
I ordered one 2 1/2 months ago through Silencer Shop (STILL ON BACKORDER) I have been told it’s going to be another 4 to 6 weeks minimum. Seems a little ridiculous. I hope it’s worth it.
Just got my 36m out of “jail” and I realized there is a 46m now. Still happy with my choice since the 36m works with all my calibers and it’s shorter length, but not sure I would’ve made the same choice given both options at the time.
I'm a bit confused; is the 36 or the 46 better for the smaller calibers? It makes sense what he says in the video @9:45 , but on the silencerco website, the 46 specs are better than the 36. So... which is it?
The 36 is smaller. The 46 has more overall volume so it's probably technically quieter. The 36 is more efficient with smaller calibers from a volume standpoint. Basically a better performer for it's size. My take anyway.
Thanks for the informative video. If I were to purchase the 46M suppressor, would I need any adapter to use it on my Kalashnikov KP9? Please advise ASAP. Thank you for your time and help.
You only need the fixed barrel spacer if you plan on using your piston to attach to the host. If you have a direct thread mount, then you are good to go.
@@humanoidwolf Absolutely. Something to consider is that some Mausers and AKs have had issues with barrel thread concentricity. So long as the threads on the barrel have been machined properly you will not have any issue running a suppressor.

Those would be 17-4 Stainless Steel, Titanium, & Inconel.

If you're only shooting 5.56 and smaller calibers, yes. It'll knock an additional few decibels off.
