The Hybrid 46M is really versatile to say the least. I primarily use mine on a 7” .300 BLK AR with 1:7 twist. As anyone knows with .300 BLK the 200 grain range is subsonic. This suppressed with 220 grain for me is nearly whisper quiet…so quiet that the buffer spring was the loudest thing until I replaced it with a capture buffer setup. The rifle setup mentioned is now nearly inaudible. It is my go-to coyote thumper. Suppresses 9mm carbines and pistols incredibly well. Haven’t gotten into big bore calibers yet but am sure it will perform well. Even 5.56 through an 11.5 AR with standard 55 grain is not whisper by any stretch but is hearing safe all day long. 77 grain 5.56 is stupid quiet. Bolts in 5.56 and .300 BLK perform like you expect…quieter because they are bolts. The first time I ever fired the 11.5 AR with 55 grain 5.56 all I heard was two puffs of air no louder than disconnecting a compressor air hose. Get one.
Probably the most detailed and informative silencer video I have ever seen. Very technical but eloquently lumping large amounts of data into summaries was great. Excellent job. Dude u should have a million subs.
Even if this video was done 2 years ago, it's still a great video.... u do a great job delivering the info - straight to the point without a bunch of b.s. - not to mention lots of fired rounds, which is always awesome to see! Thanks!
The cool thing is that when I contact silencer shop, and I speak to my Rep. He will set me up exactly the way I need it. I am actually excited to own this. My dead air is epic, but I want to also capitalize on pistol calibers. I LOVE this fun community. Awesome video, I'm SOLD!

It would be great to get those readings with supersonic ammo as well. Watching this video, every caliber sounded great, but that's also a benefit of running subs.
Im learning about suppressors and was looking into a Hybrid 46m for a first time buy....but I was wondering if these heavier suppressors cause cycling issues with tilt barrel handguns ? And has anyone run one of these on an AK47 pistol/SBR setup ?
I’m looking to get this, I will be using it for 5.56/308/ and eventually 9 mil. This won’t work on a .22 Ruger will it? And just to be clear this will come out of the box with the 5.56 and .308 end caps.
You discussed Charlie ASR Mount, Trifecta Mount, YHM Mount, 51t Mount, Charlie Direct Thread, Dead Air Key-mo, Plan-B by Q, Charlie Booster Assembly. I was looking for references to the YHM Mount and 51t Mounts specifically Any idea where to look?
Excited. I have this on the way, dead air ghost m,warlock 22 and octane 9 and I’m integrally suppressing my sig mpx. I can’t wait to get my first stamps for cans. Kinda went a little all out now my firsts lol
Just had a look at the user manual on their website. It doesn’t specify barrel length restrictions. They specify they shot an 8.5 inch 300 blackout barrel. For 2 to 3 I shot a 17.5 inch barrel which is strange. What is the barrel length restriction on 556 AR15 platform? Your guys rock!
Could you please use another 9mm Large format pistol like a Banshee or MP5 to test sound? The MPX is not a great testing host because of port pop, gassiness, and their weird barrel design. Any explanation why the 46M stock is quieter than the 36M on the MPX?
You mentioned an adapter for AAC 51T devices. Is it part #AC241? I have a couple 51T already mounted but cannot find that adapter in stock? Do they not make it any more?
Could you tell me how much this reduces the sound down on a 338 Lapua Magnum? I see you shooting it in the end of the video, but I didn't see any results. I apologize if they were in there. Also, is the recoil worse with a suppressor opposed to the tanker style break?
Felt recoil will be slightly increased with a can, especially coming from a brake, but in my experience, suppressed recoil feels different than recoil from a bare muzzle. To me, its less punchy and more of a hard push backwards. The benefit of a tamed muzzle blast is well worth the slight increased recoil. As far as sound, I cant help you but SiCo should have published measurements for 338LM.
A very thorough and intelligent review. I'm new to suppressors and doing some investigation brought me to the Silencerco website, and then to your video. What was unclear, which you answered is whether or not a default end cap was included in the base price. You answered that. It was very unclear from their website if that was the case. I'm wondering if I'll have any issues with my sites on my glock 23 with a drop in Lonewolf threaded 9mm barrel. Thanks for a great job. I will be buying their brakes. Any thoughts on the benefits of the asr vs the 3 lug system?
@@moonpaws1 is not recommended for 22lr. I purchased the MCX from Sig for my 22lr's pretty much the only caliber I do not use it for. Also I found buying all the different end caps made a huge change in sound. Sorry I know this was a year ago but love this can many rounds though it zero problems.
@@andyholland6401 Thanks, just got around to firing the suppressor for the first time. It was awesome on my new Ruger SFAR 308. Was good with the AR!5 with the 308 end cap, but I'll get that 223 end cap for sure. For a cover here's what I did because I didn't want to spend $100 plus dollars. I bought a cover on Amazon for $30 something. Has velcrow straps and a thin weaved slip on extra cover that goes first. Bought some inexpensive 1/2 fire resistant insulation up to 2000 degrees on ebay for $10. Wrapped that around that weaved thin piece that came with the suppressor cover, and then put the suppressor cover over that. Works perfect.

I have a Rugged Obsidian9 for my handguns and PCCs, and I've been struggling to find a mount that will give me the best uniform interface option for all future firearms.
