    Great video and discussion. The Hybrid was the first can I bought because it was so versatile. I opted to run it with DeadAir KyMo mounting system. I bought it mainly for rifle use and as a secondary pistol can if need be because I had an Osprey 45k. Now that I have three Deadair rifle cans it runs on my AR45 and I love it. If you are only ever going to buy one can to cover a bunch of hosts this is a great choice

    • @powderburn4648

      Rhett Butler exactly I think it’s a good first can for people to run. Also with the deadair kymo mount is really nice I had used the taper mounts like the asr in the passed and just really liked it.

      So, just to be sure, the DeadAir KyMo adapter will work with the Hybrid 46? And you need to buy a DeadAir KyMo for each weapon you want to be able to swap it to? Excuse me, but I know nothing about this. $249.00 is a bit expensive to be just guessing and hoping. Thank you.

Looking forward to getting it. Will work fine for my needs as a pistol suppressor. And work on some of my larger caliber rifles! The extra parts are pricey. But far less than more suppressors. Thanks for the great review! Now, if it would just work on my M82-A1! Ha-ha! I think I will get a dedicated 22LR and I can call it a day as far as suppressors go!

    What thread pitch are the threads on your threaded barrel for your Kimber .45 ACP? I've got a SIG 1911 TACOPS w/ threaded barrel & I expected it to be your typical left hand thread that's usually on most .45's. I noticed that yours is also a right handed thread pitch just like mine....so my main question is what size(thread pitch) did you order for your .45 piston/booster?

    • @powderburn4648

    Do you think it's worth owning all the end caps? Just started the video so with it being 50 mins long you probably cover it but figured I'd ask. :) The Hybrid isn't my first suppressor but it is the first semi-modular one, the other two I own aren't customizable at all. Since I don't currently have anything with a threaded barrel larger than 9mm, my current plan was to put the 9mm cap on it and call it a day. I have a pretty large array I'd be mounting it to, multiple 5.56 AR's up through 9mm MPX and everything in between.

    • @powderburn4648

      The end caps I will say for rifle are great. I mostly own all of them for uses with the 9mm on my 338 lapua and 350 legend and 357mag rifles. The anchor breaks I did not find any use for on any of my applications so I would say those are not something I would recommend.

    Not sure why would u use a cover on a suppressor on the fist place that uses asr type mounting system? If ur unable to remove the can from the heat without cover u wont be able to remove it from the gun with the cover either. U still have to touch and deal with the hot mount it self. Besides that cover isn't doing nothing but making that can even hotter due to preventing heat dispersion at slower rate. In fact its probably doing more damage that good. Besides why would u need to remove a suppressor in a hurry exactly?

    • @powderburn4648
      @powderburn4648  3 года назад +2

      Well this may come as a surprise to you but the cover helps out greatly with heat mirage that can come off the suppressor and be horrible in front of you scopes. Plus if it’s a full auto rated suppressor I don’t think it’s going to hurt it much. Lastly the asr Mount is a reliable Mount that also makes it nice for switching between multiple hosts with not much effort. I’m just glad to see your comment makes tons of sense and you must me an expert in this stuff please feel free to stay or go. Im just here to have fun and inform people of some of the things I use more regularly then most.

After all you're at range not Fallujah and water buckets are widely available. Your right, its meant for full auto fire so water dip isn't gonna change a slight molecular intensity or compromise the material unless your getting your suppressor red hot. Besides those of us who live in Texas and drive cars in Texas heat and when it rains on them they still have functional car roofs with no holes in them.
