I never get tired of hearing "I have an olive undertone" tbh, because the amount of people who still believe fair-skinned people can only have pink undertones is unreal.

I’ve tried filling my sparse asian brows in with the Ardell and Rimmel London pens but the strokes were too thick for my liking. I’ve been testing out this (new?) Milani brow pen called the Weekend Brow Pen and so far it’s working really well for my sparse, dark, and thin brow hairs. The pen retails for about $9 and has 3 color options. I hope you test this brow pen out someday! Would love to hear what you think about it!
which color? i was thinking about buying it but i’m not sure which color. i have naturally pretty dark dark brown hair and very dark eyebrows but i don’t like when they look black i like a dark cool brown
I love the Milani pen! What shade do you use? I'm Asian too and ended up getting the Soft Brown shade cause the reviews said the darker shades were TOO dark but Soft Brown, while natural and pretty, isn't as dark as I'd like it haha

I'd love to see you try out some brow pens from Asian brands (and Asian products in general). They tend to do a lot better in creating ashy toned brow products, and the quality for the price is usually very high. My HG clear brow gel and waterproof mascara are both K-beauty, and they have such a wide variety of lip products as well with unique formulas.

It’d be great if manufacturers used a purple base instead of green to get a ash blonde or light ash brown. I’ve noticed many brow pens leave a green cast a few hours after application or the color puddles or spreads and leaves a green glow...some, even stain the skin.
My thought runs along the lines of what I was taught in cosmetology school.

I appreciate the urban decay pen/pencil duos for their color range and cool-ness. Also it’s great to have a pencil end to go with the pen if you want to fill in the ends a little more

The one and only brow pen I have ever found that lasted is Stila's. And then they reformulated, naturally.
I have a hard time finding a shade that matches my auburn hair so this was super helpful to me!

I love brow pens and feel comfortable using them but every one I’ve tried is not cool enough. I swear, these brands don’t actually test them on people faces I don’t know anyone with eyebrows that match the shades most of these brands put out 😏
PLEASE if you ever launch your own brand, please do an eyebrow pen with shades that are actually cool toned 😂 I would honestly by shares in your brand if you made them 😂
Also, side note, I’ve been using rapid brow during lockdown and oh my god, it’s incredible (the official one not the dodgy crap off amazon) and it is worth every penny

Hi! I also have a problem with brow products being way too warm! I’ve discovered if a line or collection or whatever has a brow shade called “ash brown”, I’m almost guaranteed to be that ash brown shade. It’s usually a very cool toned, almost-grey brown, on the medium-dark side. Try looking for “ash brown” eyebrow pens and pencils!
I’ve had success with the darkest urban decay brow pen. I think it’s coed black out? It’s more cool toned than the dark drapes shade they have.
You can look in Korean brands, they always have something almost grey. Tony moly had a nice brow pen, but I don't remember the exact name of the product
Try Suqqu in moss green - it's a cult product because it's cool toned

My favourite brow pen is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color. The Medium shade is the perfect "universal" light ash brown (no warmth or red tone). I need to fill in a the front of my brows, and this looks very natural. This is the only brow pen I've ever used because the color is so perfect, and it stays on all day!

I recommend Medium Brown for ABH, it's what u want for cool brown/ash and I've always used this color for my blonde hair brows

You Should try the Suquu brow pen. I think you would love it. I used to use the original brow pen from Anastasia and I just about died when they discontinued it. This new one is ok but it's just not like the original.

Alex, I hope you see this. I'm not on IG or Twitter so I have to ask here. What was it in particular that you started differently with the soap brow technique that made it start working for you? I know I saw in an older video that soap brow didnt work for you but I see that it works beautifully for you now. I cannot get it to work for me because my brows love to grow sideways(the lil' shits) and I am hoping that maybe the mistake you were making before is going to give me the answer to why I cant get it to work for me. I just want my brows to stay up and it seems impossible😩
My go to pen is the Benefit with the 3 prong brush tip.
Omg we do our eyebrows the exact same way ❤️ I’m glad you also like the Glossier one because I have very dark eyebrows and it’s the only brow pen that gives me a lot of payoff with one stroke and its lasted me for a really long time ☺️ I recently lost it though and my eyebrows look so bald without it 😭
I really want to try the Glossier pens...I'm using the Stilla ones at the moment and love them! The "dark" shade has a green tone to it so works great or my skin tone 💕
I splurged with the benefit brow pen🤩 I think it’s a tad too light ( I use the darkest shade) but I still really love it. I like how it’s very long lasting and perfect for the person who wants a “natural brow” but obviously you can make it as detailed and dark with more products 😋 thank you for your amazing videos 😻

The limecrime brow pen is A M A Z I N G and it's my go to. I haven't used anything else since. It's so natural that it looks perfect with or without a full face of makeup. The buildup is great, too. My brows look perfect and I don't even spend but like 3 minutes on both combined.
I use the wet and wild eyeliner pen as a brow pen and it’s soooo good. Not the most longwearing without setting spray but it draws the most realistic line I’ve found so far and it’s £2.50 or something

I just wanted to say that with the Ardelle "feathering pen" You must store it facing down so all of the color can come down the tub into the applicator. It'll be fire after that! I struggled getting color from it and a brow pro told me to store them facing down. It's gonna be amazng after the color is fully out. 🖤 sending love. Xx
Your content is basically perfect. I’ve been watching many different makeup channels for a long time, and I ended up unsubbing from nearly all of them because I was just so sick of the bullshit. Girl you rock! You sold me lol and turned me into the brow pen so I bought the Glossier but it can be a little too intense but I love that ya can't rub it off. Is there another eyebrow pen and pencil that has crazy staying power
i bought the glossier brow flick and i hated it at first and tried re purposing it as brown eyeliner bc it deposited SO much color but now i feel dumb bc you said to wipe off the excess first and i did and wow.....my brows are amazing. ur a queen.

i’m currently trying to phase glossier out of my routine and was so excited when anastasia came out with a brow pen! i love their brow wiz but i prefer pens>pencils as they don’t show product texture on the brow. i purchased the brow pen in my usual brow wiz shade, medium brown, and find it WAY better than the brow flick. the formula is more consistent, not “chunky” like the brow flick tends to be, sheerer, and smoother

ABH has shifted their brow products warmer over the years, which really sucks. They had the best ashy (aka correct) colors, but consumers wanted to see warmer colors when they swatched things on their hands.
Everyone is convinced they’re yellow these days! I’m very yellow toned but MY GOD people need to stop. Pink bodies with yellow faces everywhere
Storing the glossier pens with the tip pointing up like in a little cup or something might help with the product pooling in the tip

I like the Lime Crime bushy brow duos ( appreciate the undertones the lack of red/orange base, especially as a blonde )& use them consistently but always wait for one of their many sales & usually get them at 50% off. I've been disappointed by too many brow products, so these are refreshing.
I haven't used a brow pencil/pen since finding glossier boy brow. Elf has a really good dupe that I think is called 'wow brow'. The elf is more pigmented but they are both AWESOME

ABH just came out with a brow pencil in ash brown. I wish they had this shade in the brow pen bc medium brown is too dark but is cooler and taupe is straight up redish orange. Ugh. UD has THE BEST brow pen in cool cookie and dark drapes! The product dispenses perfectly and shades are actually cool
If you get to much in a stroke gently tap on the stroke to lighten it. I do that with the glossier brow flick and I ended up doing to thick of a stroke and by tapping on the stroke to soften it helped alot
Please review more drug store brow pens!! The Nyx Lift and Snatch especially, it's new and I personally am obsessed with it and would love to see your opinion

I've tried the glossier brow flick in black and it's alright but I prefer the ud brow blade because you get a pencil too and it last ages!
Stila has a nice more sheer cool taupe pen, I tried the UD brow blade but every shade was so warm but I know they released two new very cool shades. Then there's MAC shape and shade pen that is alot of ppl favs. I use the glossier one but I have to be very careful to not go overboard but it stays put the best and has the most realistic texture to me. Bc some pens can have that kinda shiney wet liner look that can just tell it's not real. Just wanted to suggest a few more you didn't mention in case you want to try them out too. I really want to try limecrime tho. I haven't tried anything from that brand but the taupeist liner looks perfect lip liner too. Just always sold out.

I freaking LOVE the ABH one. (Caramel) Literally first product where I can fill as much as I want and it doesn’t make my brows simultaneously darker. I don’t want darker brows I want full brows. With every other one the more strokes the darker it looks.

The blonde shade by Anastasia may work better than the taupe. It doesn’t seem as warm, but appears darker than expected.
i LOVE and swear by stila stay all day waterproof pen!! i’ve tried it in shades medium and dark, and neither have weird green or red tones unlike other ones i’ve tried. the only problem i have with it is, i wish it was bigger because ( i wear it every day) i go through one, 1-1.5 months. but my man loves it on me too, to the point he said he’ll buy more whenever i run out 😆 i’ll only use my anastasia beverly hills dip brow pomade when i go glam and want darker brows
