    This is beyond refreshing, No excruciatingly long intros, crazy background music or forced “wacky” personality’s or jokey editing. Just authenticity, professionalism and respect for the arts. I think youtubers forget that people watch makeup tutorials for its fundamental purpose, to be TAUGHT. Not to have internet slang screeched at you and force fed morphe discount codes.

      And I think viewers tend to forget that many RUclipsrs are producing these videos with the fundamental goal of making money. They are NOT making the videos to teach you anything. And these video are not free to make. You talk about a fundamental purpose of these videos, but I think it entirely depends what perspective you view them from.
      I do think it's funny you feel refreshed that you got something for FREE that wasn't junk 😂...as if you had reason to expect better.

    You're literally the only person I know that ACTUALLY has dark circles and ACTUALLY needs concealer for it unlike the stupidass youtubers who clearly barely have discoloration yet still slap on shit on their face.       I had the same issue before too! I'd search 'how to cover dark circles' and get videos of models with flawless skin trying to say that they had dark circles 😂 Made me feel awful when I was younger because I thought - if people think that's what dark circles look like, what would they think of mine?

      I remember I’d get put off by his thumbnails. They were always just random images, relating to the video of course but random nonetheless. Like I thought I’d be clicking to watch the demonstration or explanation of how he did the look on the girl in the thumbnail but nope. Haven’t checked out the channel in years so idk if it’s any different now.

    I'm really happy that make-up artists, such as Wayne Goss or Robert Welsh, become more and more famous. They give the best advices on how to apply natural makeup and they call out bs on instagram makeup (filters etc).

    Try spraying your fingers with setting spray and dot until dry under the eyes after concealer! Best thing I’ve tried so far.

    I think this is going to sound weird to most people but, I actually like when you can see a little bit of dark circles. I feel like the face looks too flat and fake if you can't tell that the person has under eyes.

      I remember tearing out an article in a fashion magazine around 1989 or so, and there was this French model that had dark circles, and the article was proclaiming how sexy dark circles were, that it was so French as it looked like you were up all night studying or “something else!”

      I actually sometimes make my dark circles look bigger of darker with contour sometimes. It just helps draw attention to your eyes. Its like eyeshadow for your undereyes

    omg FINALLY someone who has fair skin and ACTUALLY has dark circles. I get so tired of 'gurus' slapping something on 6 inches of concealer going 'just covering up my dark circles' sorry your what?. THESE are dark circles. hyperpigmentation/deep socket/prominent browbone casting shadow/pale as fuck everywhere else on my face combo making people ask me constantly if i'm alright and telling me I look tired. Made my latest concealer purchase thanks to you and it actually makes a difference. First time in my life I'm not walking around looking like i've been punched in both eyes.

    This concealer look really speaks to me. The more concealer I use, the worse my under eye area looks. In fact, it looks worse than when I am not wearing any concealer. I would much rather have my under eyes look less flat and perfected, than covered in makeup. Thank you for this video!

      I'm so over the way way way over done eye makeup looks .
      It's heavy and unconformable too wear.

    I had to learn to "like" my undereye hollows too. Apparently can be an attractive sexy trait and is symbolic with empathy to others. Gina Shkeda (underrated stunner) is so underrated as well with her style and way of seeing herself. She embraces her undereye shadows and even amplifies it at times which is a great example.     This is the only way I’ve ever been able to completely cover up and cancel out my dark circles. So glad you made this video.

      Try moisturizing and Moisturizing then color correcting, eyeshadow primer, concealer in a slightly darker shade than your skin, next a thinner consistency concealer to brighten, last light dusting of powder. Less is more with each layer. Hope you try this.

    I have pale-arse skin and tear troughs that could quench the thirst of an entire cavalry battalion but i don't have time in the morning to do this many steps as good as it looks. I've decided i can live with a slight bit of creasing and subtle colour correction. Sigh. I wonder what its like not looking tired

    Embrace! I used to do tons to try to cover my dark circles (genetics and insomnia) Then I saw a male friend's highly retouched professional photos. We couldn't figure out what was wrong with them until we realized they had erased his dark circles, which we were used to as just part of his face! Now I only cover up the darkness of a bad night's sleep. I leave my genetic darkness, because it's just my face. :) And there's nothing wrong with that.

      I agree and notice because she talks about her 'man hands' and I always say, "What???" because they look great.
      I saw Dalidollface with inch long claws and just cringed. I thought she was going to gouge her eye out. It's not a pretty look.

    I can’t wait to try this. My under eye lines are so tiny and plentiful, and my under eye skin is so thin... concealer with powder just exaggerates texture and lines for me and makes it look so “makeup-like” and heavy. I never thought to use the primer there and over-hydrate. I love how normal and honest you are! Thank you for this!

    This is so encouraging, so much more so than any video by those people who don’t really have dark circles yet put on a ton of products to cover their slight discoloration. Wayne showed me how. You improved on it and proved that it works. I can hardly wait to try it. (Coincidentally, I intend to use the elf hydrating camo concealer, too.) Seeing your results is so exciting to me, because I’ve struggled with dark circles all my life, well 52+ years of it since I started wearing makeup. I have hope at last!

    This video is ground breaking information for me! I know I’m not alone in saying my under eye area is my biggest challenge when doing my makeup. It’s so hard to cover the dark circles and avoid creasing and cakeyness. So frustrating! This might be a real game changer for me. And I’m a huge Wayne Goss fan! He’s very much a naturalist when it comes to applying makeup. Skin should look like skin. Ty for this video. You’re definitely one of the best mua on YT as far as I’m concerned ❤️❤️
