I hydrate under the eye very well, but my fine lines under the eyes ALWAYS crease anyways no matter what technique I use for concealer. Never tried this through and I will definitely try this tomorrow 😊
Hi Wayne, Using the tissue to blot off the excess really helps. I found a very moisturizing eye cream that has urea in it. Always get lazy about using a setting powder at the end. 😉 The key for me is to use the least amount of concealer as possible, and to press it in using using my pinky or ring finger like you demonstrated. The warmth from the fingers, I think works better than using a brush, but that’s just a preference. Thanks for all of your tips & tricks. I’ve learned so much from you ! ☺️💜☺️
Love it! If I had the money, I'd have already had the facelift, but since I'm poor, makeup and primers and concealers and under eye bag tightening serums are now the order of the day, every day.
Wonderful! I am proud to say, I've got it all! 😂 Dry skin, wrinkles, bags, circles. 🙄 And stuff moves. I do like the Essence banana powder for setting under eyes, as the color helps offset the circles. Thanks, Wayne!
I absolutely hate concealer. Fortunately, I think I can get away with not wearing it but it's also nice to know there is a technique to apply without it being caked under the eyes.
Hi Wayne I just wanted to share what I do. I follow everything you say here but the only thing I do differently is I use a clean make up sponge to absorb the excess concealer instead of tissue. I found with some tissue, it can leave an imprint or lint on the concealer making it look textured as it dries. Using the clean sponge (preferably lightly damp with water or setting spray or even dry) helps prevent that. Sometimes I even roll the sponge within the wrinkles to remove excess product. The ELF concealer sponge is perfect for this. Thanks for all you do Wayne 😁👍🏽

I’d love to see a video of eye make-up applied for people my age who wear glasses - which of course emphasizes the wrinkles even more. Hope you do one for us women. Thanks again for all your time and make-up tutorials. Take care!
I was struggling with concealer because with the hours applied my under eye area started to dry a lot and the concealer (any concealer) started becoming cakey. I tried not using concealer, only my lightweight luminous foundation and it looks way much better. I think if you don't have very dark circles you can perfectly skip concealer but makeup industry makes us believe is a totally necessary step in our routine, and not, it's not. Anyways very instructional video as always ❤
This sound so weird but I mix the two faced hangover setting spray with the Ben Nye final seal and then put my concealer and powder over that and my god, that stuff is like GLUE for any products. Works really well and I get watery eyes every time I do my make up! Will have to try this though and see if it works just as well so I can avoid the mixing.
Tried this technique today...I ALWAYS struggle with concealer due to it creasing, etc. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm 58 though so fingers crossed 🤞😃👍🙏
Thank you my favorite makeup artist. 😬. I am 64, and don’t have darkness under my eyes. I started adding a pin point of highlighter to my eye cream and it gives such a pretty luminous look. The key is just a teeny tiny bit of the highlighter. But, the effect is luminous and beautiful! Love it! And, I don’t need powder after! Yay! ❤️
Thank you Wayne! You are the OG! The best! You dive right into the topic. When you do go “ off topic” my ears perk up because I know it’s something important or personal and that’s enjoyable too ❤

Amazing video!! I saw your eye bags video from a few years ago and I was wondering if you still recommend the UK clinic for the eye bags procedure. Thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have to say I was doubtful, but I tried the exact method you described and I was so amazed, after working 10 hours I had no creases or creep under eye. You are amazing thank you!!!
Hydrated under eyes ALSO, controls/slows down the chance of creasing. Using eye primer helps hold the concealer as well if you let the concealer set B4 foundation. That helps me.
It may take a little longer to do your makeup, but if you get the results, it will definitely be worth it. I always use under eye cream, but never thought of using eyelid primer! Thanks again for a great tutorial.

All of these tips on RUclips are great, and I'm sure they work for many people, but you'll find them most useful if you go in with a flexible mindset. Good luck!
I hydrate under the eye very well, but my fine lines under the eyes ALWAYS crease anyways no matter what technique I use for concealer. Never tried this through and I will definitely try this tomorrow 😊
So helpful! Thank you for an informative video that gets right to the point.
Thank you for consistently uploading
Love how straightforward your videos are 🙏🙏
Learning to deal with maturing skin Wayne is a must watch💗 thank you
I love your channel. Thank you so much for caring.
Hi Debbie can you plz share with me what under eye cream you are using with the urea in 😁
What eye cream do u use
Thank you, Wayne, I'll try..Alexandra Anele mention you again and help me to find this video
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I was wondering how to do this, and it's in a tricky area. I really appreciate you!
Fantastic advice. Definitely going to do this. I love your tutorials - as a mature novice to makeup, I need all the help I can get. I’m attending a wedding and want to do my best.
Wayne I'm 56 years old and I just thank you so much for teaching me and your many viewers the proper way to apply makeup.
I’ve been struggling and could not figure out how to fix my under eye concealer method. Will try this tomorrow. Thanks so much Wayne!
This was incredible. My biggest makeup struggle is my under eye area. And I tried this and got it on the first try and it looks beautiful!! Thank you Wayne ❤️
Wayne, I just love you!!! I've learned so much from you. I was using under eye concealer all the way out to the outer corners of my eyes. Now I just put it in the inner corners. Same with foundation, less is more!!! Thank You!
I have watched Wayne ever since I started wearing makeup.... I am now 25 and I smile a lot. I needed this video lol 💛
San Francisco fan girl loves WAYNE GOSS!
Oh my goodness i'm trying this tomorrow thank you
Did it work?
Am going to try this... Now I'm a tad older I have to take more care in this area... Will see how it does 😁
Guys...so many years of trying different techniques...so many products... and the cheapest ones with this technique worked wonders! Thank you so much 💓
OMG 😱 you have solved one of the biggest problems I had when doing my makeup 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you thank you!
Wayne, I’ve been watching and rewatching your tutorials for years. You are a great teacher, thank you for sharing your knowledge!
So helpful, cannot thank you enough 🎉
I never thought to use eyeshadow primer under my eye. I'll give it a try.
Did you try it?
Which concealer brand are you using? Thank you for this video I suffer from dry under eyes abs dark circles and finally someone is putting this type of content out there 🙏🏽🥰
I have no one else to teach me these things. Thank you Wayne for being there. I have learned so much from you. Please, don't ever stop :)
Can’t wait to try this!! I’ve never double moisturized. And I’ve never blotted away the excess oil. Otherwise, I do a variation of this already. I’m thinking this is what was keeping me from being successful. Thank you Wayne! You are the best 😘😘
Wayne I am not much here on RUclips anymore but I love to watch your videos every now and then. Always helpful! I appreciate you a lot and you are a wonderful person ❤️
Rumors are strong that I'm getting married soon, so I'm definitely going to try this method to see if the concealer will hang out with me a bit longer on my wedding day.
I love your detailed tips and thorough explanations while demonstrating the techniques.
That urban decay primer is totally the best. Love it, used it for years 👌
Is is good on very dry skin also ?
I have seen many, many, RUclips videos about concealer application and so forth, but good heavens, you are brilliant! You totally nailed it. Totally telling my friends to watch your tutorial. You’re a savior!!!
Genius !!!! This worked on me like a charm ! ✨️ I've been struggling with under eye creasing for as long as I can remember. Thanks Wayne for your tips 🙌🙌🙌
Happy Friday Wayne!! Love all of your tips , I love that you update techniques periodically. I never get tired of hearing you go over things.🙂
Mister Goss you are a wonderful creature and i look forward to seeing if this trick can work for me!
Love your technique 👌 ot works.
I tried this trick last night and it worked really well. Thank you so much for all of your tips. I never really feel all that confident wearing make-up but your advice has made the task a lot less daunting.
Totally MAG!! Thanks so much, Wayne! I have been struggling with an awful mess of highlighter settling under my eyes. So much so that I’d just given up! You’re terrifically talented and so straightforward in your vids. Love it.
Love all your videos and advice-Thank You! I’m 55+ and have tried this technique - it works well.
I feel like you have magical abilities! You come out with the most amazing techniques! I appreciate you 💕
Tried this technique today...I ALWAYS struggle with concealer due to it creasing, etc. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm 58 though so fingers crossed 🤞😃👍🙏
Fantastic tutorial and I love the idea of eyeshadow primer under the eye! I also use the UD primer so that’s a bonus. 😁
I cannot wait to try it tomorrow. I use U.D. too. Lol
Yay! ❤️
I needed this video more than ever. I'm also going to try this technique in my deep-set frown lines. Thanks a million Wayne❤❤❤
I have been using primer under the eyes for years. It works so good! Love this Wayne!
Excellent video Wayne, very useful and you get to the point!😊
Thank you Wayne! You are the OG! The best! You dive right into the topic. When you do go “ off topic” my ears perk up because I know it’s something important or personal and that’s enjoyable too ❤
You are a genius! Thank you ❤
Wow, just wow. Wayne keeping it real for us ladies and guys who love makeup ♥️this was a great tutorial done at a pace I could follow along to and looks amazing xxx
Thank you for this Wayne. I'm 44 and I always have this problem with my concealer creasing. I will try this... thanks once again.
I thought about doing this so many years ago, because it made sense since it works on the eyelid, but I thought I was nuts and never tried it. I’m so glad I came across this video and gave it a shot. It looks amazing on me, Wayne! You’re awesome.
Thank you Mr. Goss! This area drives me the most crazy at 54 years old. You always help and I am trying this! 💗
I've been using this technique recently and I does work! I use the hourglass translucent powder but I imagine any blurring powder would also work additional wonders.
YOU’RE THEĒ GOAT!!! super appreciative for you over the years. i’ve been here since day one!!
Hydrated under eyes ALSO, controls/slows down the chance of creasing. Using eye primer helps hold the concealer as well if you let the concealer set B4 foundation. That helps me.
Vaseline is also good for under eye moisturizer before primer & concealer.
Thank you, Wayne!!!!!
It may take a little longer to do your makeup, but if you get the results, it will definitely be worth it. I always use under eye cream, but never thought of using eyelid primer! Thanks again for a great tutorial.
Oh! This is an actualization of your technique!!! Thank you very much!!! As always, your videos are the most productive ones, mister handsome! Love you!
You amaze me with all of your wonderful techniques! Thank you for always being here for your subscribers. I adore you!
