- Hi guys 💕 I recently got some new brow products, so I thought I would review and compare them for you. They're all amazing products, but I did run into some difficulties. Hope you enjoy todays video!

Apply a light dusting of powder before you use those pens, so the finish of the gels won’t interfere as much.

@@Vimyx09 I haven’t had a chance to sit down and experiment yet! I’ve been scared to do it on a day when I need my makeup done perfectly because I’m worried the powder will make my brows grey. But when I try, I’ll update you ❤️
I sometimes find doing pens and other brow pigments on the eyebrows before glueing it down helps! I understand you want to glue the eyebrows in place first to get the shape but doing the pens and stuff first definitey helps!

Maybe the nyx side would work better using the brow gel after filling in with the brow pen?
It would if you just wanna use it as a gel (which I’ve been doing), but if you want the laminated look, applying the brow glue after the pen smears the pen all over the place and it gets quite messy 😓
The ends of my brows are stubborn as well. Nyx glue is great for on the go. When you don’t really care, but still want to look out together. Now the Got2be Spike glue that I use is amazing. It holds every brow hair in place until you remove it. The ends of my brows stays in place even if I have my hair in my face. I just LA girl brow bestie. It has a spooly but I take product out and use a thin brow brush to draw my hairs and the staying proper of this brow bestie is prefect. The shit is hard to get off unless you use makeup remover. All I know is I never have to worry about my brows with these two products. Don’t think I will ever use anything else again.
What about using the pencil first and then the brow gel? Do you the NYX products would work well then? Thanks for your help! Ellen
Hi 💕 thats actually how I do my brows now! You can check my brow routine that I posted a couple of weeks ago if you want to see that! You just can’t get the laminated look that way because it gets messy :(
I had the same issuing as you with the nyx brow glue + the brow snatch, I ended up using my brow pencil lol still half way done with your video so I am excited to see how things turn out!
I have used the benefit 24 hour brow gel has been a bit sub par honestly. I am thinking of returning it because it doesn’t last long.
Someone recommended using powder over the glue before the pen! I haven’t tried it yet, but it might work! I’m just worried it’ll make my brows grey or something lol. But I’m determined to try and make this work. Haven’t tried the benefit one, but by the sounds of it, it’s not great :/ I just want effortless brows is it too much to ask 😩

I’m not looking for one product to do everything for my brows, like one-and-done, but I am looking for a gel that holds them throughout the day because my brow hairs are a bit unruly. might try the brow freeze from ABH (queen fo brows), I know Patric Ta’s brow product has the hype around it and has been around longer than most these products, so for it’s worth a try. I shamelessly return products if they don’t work like they say they will.
@@leandralovejoy2167 yea exactly! I’m fine to have a multi step routine, I just want the products to actually work and hold my brows in place because they are STUBBORN lol. I haven’t tried the Patrick Ta one yet, but I saw reviews comparing it to the ABH brow freeze, and the verdict was that the brow freeze was better!

Have you tried using the brow pen/pencil first, then brow gel and if anything smears, clean up your eyebrows with a qtip and some Micellar water?
Ouu this is a good idea! Personally I like to make the brush strokes look like brow hairs, and I’m worried when it smudges it’ll ruin the illusion 😓😓 gonna try though! Really wanna make this work 💕

At Shoppers! For some reason, not all locations have it though. I had to check like 3 before finding them. Look for bigger Shoppers locations near you, and they should have the new stuff! Hope this helps 💕

Hello! I am having the same problem as you ... it doesn’t grip as it does without the brow freeze... I have also tried with Glossier Brow Flick and it’s worse...
I am so disappointed ...
Have you tried the NYX brow pen with the ABH brow freeze ?
A few people have commented to apply some translucent powder over the brow freeze so that the pens have more grip! I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I’m definitely going to. Might work for you as well? The NYX is the same over the brow freeze :/

The ABH is worth the price! I love it! for $15...why get a flimsy product when you can just get the best? I recommend for ppl who already have full brows.I dont recommend brow products for browless folks, wont look right

What don't you use the pen first, then glue or set the brows? That's what I would do. Even with a powder, pencil or pen, use them first then set the brow. Hope that helps.
You can definitely use the glue that way to set your brows, which I have been doing and love! but if you want that “laminated look” you have to glue them down before, otherwise the products under smear everywhere :( thank you for the suggestion though 💕💕
@@AnifeToupeva Oh, I didn't know that. I usually do my routine in reverse, but with powders, pencil and then if needed a few strokes of the pen. Then, I set that all with the Got2B hair gel. I am very curious if the new ABH is better than the Got2B. I'd buy it if it was. Have you tried the Got2B out? It's a great alternative for $5. Thanks for the tips.
@@cynthiasstylemua9822 I have tried the got2b glue, and it was amazing as well! I do find the brow freeze stronger, but I think it depends on what look you want. If your current routine works for you, then there’s no reason to spend the extra $30!

I watched another tutorial where the woman said to make sure to use enough Brow Freeze, but not too much (because the hairs will not stick if you go either way) and she also brushed them the opposite way (against the growth first) and then brush them back up and in the way that you would like them styled. She said that it will seem weird, but it helps ensure that your eyebrow hairs are fully coated. (In theory it makes a lot of sense. I am an artist and when I use spray adhesive, I spray both sides of the paper with the adhesive to make the seal permanent. If you only use it on one side, the stick is temporary. So if the hairs are fully coated on each side, it will stick a lot better.) I haven’t tried it get, but I am hoping it helps. Oh! Also, she said to make sure there are no oils, serums, or moisturizer on your brows. I have no idea how I am going to swing that, but I am determined! Haha I hope that helps!
I can totally relate with the eyebrow growth struggle. It drives me crazy to see perfectly laid down eyebrows on people. Damn eyebrows!
I am totally going to try the translucent powder trick that I read in your comments as well! Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I watched quiet a few tutorials on this subject this morning (trying for the life of me to figure out how to use this ABH product correctly and with the pen) and yours was by far the best/most educational.

It is because of the glue! I just bought it tonight and I hated all of it. I bought espresso, and it seems too dark for me and looks marker-ish. I have really dark brown hair. I'm actually watching this review to see if I should exchange for ash brown or just return it.
Was that ash brown a true ash? My brows are more of a cool brown/black..
I’ve been using the brow glue as a regular gel now after filling in my brows, and it works well for that. But I’m never again using it to get the laminated look because it’s just too hard to work with. Ash brown is a true ash id say, but if you have really dark brows idk if it would work because it is kind of light. I picked up espresso as well, and now I use both to get add more definition and have it look like a “real” brow lol. Hope this helps 💕
@@AnifeToupeva good idea.. maybe I'll lock up ash brown so I can do both. It's super harsh looking when I only do espresso. I use espresso in the brown pencils, but it's not as harsh looking at this one. Thanks for answering!

You would have better results using the pen first then the glue or pomade . Give yourself a dry surface to work on first .

I really think soap doesn’t work well on your Brows UNLESS you put quite a lot of water on your soap and let it sit, I will form this thick paste and I swear it’s the only thing that kam keep my brows down 😅
Oh and afterwards slightly powder the ends of your brows, makes the brow pen go on so much nicer 🥰
