in 1987 Herbie Hancock "stealed" the Oscar from Ennio Morricone for the best soundtrack. I love Herbie Hancock and I love Jazz and.. I know it wasn't Hancock's fault but... that year Ennio Morricone probably composed one of the most beautiful soundtracks in the history of cinema: "The Mission". Hancock won the Oscar for music that he hadn't even written but .. only performed. It was literally a steal. Morricone deserved that Oscar.
This movie musics was very famous in those days. All the musics themes will play in those days and these days to remind this cowboy musics which was very famous in the cowboy movies fans. Good Bad Ugly musics never forget by the cowboys movies fans.
M A R A V I L H O S O S! I LOVE COUNTRY MUSIC. (Versão jazz) MAS ESSA CANÇÃO É UM BEST SELLER JUNTO AO FILME DO ATOR C.W.! SHOWWWW BJS EM TODOS. PARABÉNS!!!
Although I rate the version rendered by Danish National Symphony Orchestra as the best amongst the countless versions available, I consider this version also very high. Absolutely amazing and awesome ! ❤❤
I always love this theme music. But the thing that she sung at last was incredible. Actually what was that? Is that knots? Whatever it is, i repeated it more than 5 times and then saved to my laptop. Little bit scary, but very interesting. I love that women............!!!
not trying to be too critical because this is really awesome. but at 2:39 and 5:18, instead of the slide, i wish he coulda pulled off some distortion like the original as that is one of the parts that makes that track so classic, to me at least. Scatting at the end is worth watching over and over
What was the point of the first minute and ten seconds? that was just lame and so irrelevant to the rest of the well played performance! Very nice cover, not the best bt different and interesting
highest level certainly but certainly not catchy enough to sell more than a fistful of records...reminds me of Rachelle Ferell 's prowesses...so technical but meant for a very short circle of admirers
Sorry...I just could not get past the WHAH WHAH WHAH, shit. I can listen to the original, but this made me cringe to the point of, an embarrassment for the vocalists. Exceptional talents...used in a shitty way. IDK It just struck me as FUCKED UP!
Went too off track, unneeded jazzy break and unneeded annoying mouthy sounds from woman at the end ..reminds me why I don't like jazz or why I have a low tolerance for it. Kick out the jams! Thumbs up until it went off track. But didn't thumbs down because when it was good it was REALLY good.
Ennio was pissed off that Herb won an Oscar for Round Midnight and he lost it with The Mission...Herbie is a better musician than Ennio is...Morricone is a genius also.
Only Herbie Hancock can pull this off!!
My All time favorite movie and music. Ennio morricone. Wonderful superb great. Rest in peace

The Good, Bad, and the Ugly parts were amazing. The random stuff just thrown in there, and the strange 2 minute beginning made no sense.
i know..true.I read that story in a bio anyway..
All good.
Who is that bass player? Is it the same guy who played bass with Eric Clapton? He is awesome.
Nathan East
Yes, the one and only Nathan East...awesome musician and one helluva fine human being!
The Man, the Living Legend, Nathan East.
Words fail me, but I will give it a go.
Horrid.!!!

Who's that fucking drummer? My God.
Hu hu hu hu hu

It sounds like animals in pain.
What was the point of the first minute and ten seconds? that was just lame and so irrelevant to the rest of the well played performance! Very nice cover, not the best bt different and interesting
This is live music, it's not meant for youtube videos
They entertain their public, people also seem to like it, totally cool move
highest level certainly but certainly not catchy enough to sell more than a fistful of records...reminds me of Rachelle Ferell 's prowesses...so technical but meant for a very short circle of admirers
Neanche lontanamente. Bassa imitazione..
I found this quite naff. I think I'm going to stick to Ennio Morricone.
Just bad that is just bad
C'est quoi ce massacre ? la brute et le truand sont bien là mais le bon a oublié de venir.

2 thumbs down, stick to the jazz. spaghetti orchestra owned it better and was way more original and entertaining.
Agree! I cringed.
Boring...
Remove this insult
sounded dumb

OMG this is terrible. Hope Morricone doesn't hear this. Jazz goes together with Western like hot dogs and chocolate. Pardon the pun.
Awful. Absolutely awful.
Meh - the ukelele orchestra does it better.
Ennio was pissed off that Herb won an Oscar for Round Midnight and he lost it with The Mission...Herbie is a better musician than Ennio is...Morricone is a genius also.
Ennio Morricone was a better composer, IMO. His musical scores are truly modern masterpieces.
