Barry White! The smoothest ever! The next Barry White song you should react to is “You’re the first, the last, my everything”. You guys will love it.
YESSSSSSS!!!!!
💯
You’re The First, The Last, My Everything
Think the version of that song they should do is the duet with Pavarotti those 2 voices together mold so well together
Absolutely. His best in my opinion.
Barry White and Lou Rawls so Deep and Smooth!!!
This world is big enough to love and appreciate both Barry’s. Gibb and White.
Barry White, The Walrus of Love! ❤❤
Barry White has such a deep, sensual voice.
Barry might be the king of "Baby-making" music.😂
Back in the late sixties and early seventies on a date,I would after I put on a Barry record I would always say, come on Barry help me out.nother good Barry song is my first,my last,my everything.
Panty-dropping music for sure!
Anything Barry White!
This is THE.... Barry to me, Barry White is awesome! My fav, I think it is called My First, My Last, My Everything.
Barry White could set a romantic mood by reading a phone book.
There is no comparison of the Barry's. They are each so wonderfully different. And from two totally different genres. We can LOVE THEM BOTH!
No competition or comparison.
preach! two talented musicians fr different time periods
Barry white what else can you say amazing
OH Yes Barry White -------- Beautiful Voice - Beautiful Songs!
Of all the beautiful songs that we had back in the 70's Loves Theme an instrumeltal by Barry White is considered the anthem of the 70's please listen to it and give us your reaction, thank you very much☺
It blows my mind how much music this generation has to discover.
it blows your mind that people don't know music from 50 years ago?
This year the song is just 48 years old. close to 50 but no Cigar for you Wyatt
@@wyattetzel926 YES!
@@wyattetzel926 yes… I’m not around a lot of young people often enough to see what they’re learning about music unless I’m watching these videos. I personally enjoy music all the way back to the 1930’s. I hope that young people can also go back to way before our time as well.
Guys I recommend “You’re My First, My Last, My Everything” by Barry White.
All the Barry's of the 70's, Barry Gibbs, Barry Manilow, and the late great Barry White. oh how I wish I could go back to the 70's. The last decade I was single till their love songs caught up to me in 1979. Good news is me and my wife are still rockin together.
Grande!! Grande!! Barry!!
Barry White's voice is as thick as molasses and as smooth as honey. Even guys like his vocals.
I heard somewhere that when his voice changed as a teenager, he didn't go through the awkward crackly phase that most boys go through, his voice just DROPPED like a stone. Scared the cr@p out of his mother the first time he said "'morning Mom" with those pipes!
Donma Summer and Barry White, the king and queen of disco.
So, so, so, true!! ❤ 😊 👍
I'm a child of the 70s but I somehow missed hearing or just don't remember hearing Barry White songs but I'm so very fortunate to discover the music treasure of Mr. Barry's Classic 70s songs.
The greatest love song king writer and performer
He was known as "The Maestro of Love". Barry White did it all. Not only was he a superstar on his own, he also wrote and produced the music for the Love Unlimited Orchestra, including their #1 classic "Love's Theme", as well as the successful girl group "Love Unlimited", which featured his then wife Glodean. As you can tell, his entire career was all about spreading a message of love. As the 70's came to a close, his career fell off quite a bit, but he managed to mount a decent comeback in the 90's. He was one of the giants of the 70's, and one of the early architects of what would come to be known as disco (although he strongly objected to being classified as a disco artist).
I thought it was The Walrus of Love.
@@DazzleMonroe, as well!😁🤣
Been around the world & I I I can’t find my baby! and I don’t know and I don’t know Why! Well she’s gone away! Barry White wrote that for who? 💔🎶🎶🎶🎶💙
@@jameslemmons9737 Lisa Stansfield
Barry. What a voice, what a vibe. This man could have sung his shopping and errand list and it would have been great. RIP big man. "I have to buy...canned soup and tomatoes..."
Lewis....saw him 4 mo's. before hpe died... he couldn't sing well. I felt so bad.
@@michaelasay8587 I can imagine. Poor guy.
Barry White is an icon!!!
Barry White always had those sensual spoken word intros to his songs-I'm gonna Love You Just A Bit More Baby will certainly put you in the mood. There must be a generation of kids that Barry's music is responsible for-maybe even YOU!!
Other Valentine Day gems are "Reunited" by Peaches and Herb, "Cupid" by Sam Cooke", "Turn Off the Lights" by Teddy Pendergrass, "Always and Forever" by Heatwave and "Valentine Love" by Micheal Henderson
Turn off the lights wow haven't heard that one in a long time!
Close the Door--Teddy Pendergrass!!!
And don't forget "Love X Love" by George Benson
Ooohhhhhh, Sam Cooke. Talk about another iconic and unparalleled voice! I hope you guys explore his body of work. Especially "A Change Is Gonna Come".
Barry was known for his deep voice & romantic image. He had a lot of songs especially in the 70's such as "You're The First, The Last, My Everything", "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Bit More, Baby", "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up", "What Am I Gonna Do With You", "Let The Music Play" etc.
ALL great songs!
And the inspiration for the Chef character from South Park....😉
I love all those songs, but you left out my personal favorite " Practice what you preach".
@@armynurseboy Chef was Isaac Hayes another r & b singer from the 70's.
Dagmar S ALL fantastic songs.
Lock the door. Turn out the lights. Tap on Barry's Greatest Hits. Sip some wine together. And, voila! There's the perfect Valentine's Day (night, actually).
Barry white and Lisa Stansfield are really worth a watch singing can’t get enough of your love
Barry's a legendary unique vocal talent. He brings that sexy bass vocal to a Quincy Jones collaboration, "Secret Garden" which is like a romantic song in the style of we are the World with Legends. 😉
Barry White on Valentines Day! EXCELLENT!
I just love y'all. I am a 51 yr old white guy and I grew up with this wonderful music. Country and Gospel and some rock and Good Lord Have mercy Barry White. Now have you heard What about us?
"Ecstacy When You're Next to Me" is my favorite Barry White song! Pure fyah!
Before their respective deaths Barry White and Luciano Pavarroti performed a duet of Barry's song "My first...My last..My everthing"
OMG!!! Barry White!!!!! So happy you've finally discovered him!!! He is so amazing. The original baby making music!!! Keep reacting to Barry.✌❤
LOVE LOVE Barry White all his songs
Barry White... perfect for Valentine's Day!
Amber is spot on! I will never understand how we went from music expressing respect and love for women to deeming us Bi*chs and H*s and WAP.
women changed, they lack standards too many of them
It's a sad commentary of today's music.
Trust it’s all by design to breakdown humanity.
He was around in the Disco Era, that's what I hear in his music. Everyone ran to the dance floor when he came on!
We've been socially engineered intentionally. There are forces that do not want us elevating and respecting one another. Look at the differences from the 1970's and now.
Oh! That Voice….. nobody beats Barry….. in romantic songs…..
Luther Vandross is up there too!
And as an added bonus his music also makes you want to get up and dance!
They don't make 🎵 or voices like this anymore. Barry is a romantic person. Classic lyrics. Lyrics are trashy now. You are right about the music now. No respect for women. Women nowadays have no respect for themselves.
The Love King.
LOVE LOVE LOVE BARRY,!
This song was responsible for a lot of "baby making" back in the 70's. The man's voice is like velvet! Also check out his songs "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little Bit More, Baby", "You're The First, The Lat, My Everything", "I've Got So Much to Give", "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me" & his version of "Just the Way You Are". Perfect Valentine's soundtrack.
Lot of babies probably got named Barry or Teddie back then. 😉
Thinking the same. Lot's of Barry babies out there.
BIG SMOOVE !!
The world needs some Barry Whites !
No one is writing or performing live songs anymore.
Love Barry White.
Smooth sunshine beautiful king forever!!
The big boy had a way with the ladies ,for sure. Solid tune.
No no no, You’re my first my last my everything! Is definitely Barry Whites hit that will make goosebumps crawl up your arms and bring that perpetual smile across your face yes yes yes!!
Barry White anything is great.
Your going to Love Berry White RIP .
Now you understand why this artist Barry White is the go-to music when you want to be romantic with your loved one!! I don't believe there are many women on the planet that do not just melt instantly when they hear this man's voice!!
I'm 73; back in 'the day', Johnny Mathis had the same effect- if you don't know his work, I suggest you give him a try- start with 'CHANCES ARE'!!
Ahh...Johnny Mathis. You REALLY want to listen to him! Extraordinary at all times.
@@jerrihadding2534 I would not be on this planet if it wasn’t for a Johnny Mathis record lol
I love Barry White!!! Ironically, my favorite Barry White hit has no vocals...It's called "Love's Theme" by Love Unlimited Orchestra, and it was composed and produced by Barry. Aside from that gem..."The First, The Last, My Everything", his cover of Billy Joel's "Just The Way You Are" is almost as perfect as the original, "Let The Music Play", "I've Got So Much To Give", "Never, Never Gonna Give Ya Up"...oh, man...so many amazing songs and tunes. The man was a genius.
"Ironically, my favorite Barry White hit has no vocals...It's called "Love's Theme" by Love Unlimited Orchestra" That's my favorite, too! And wasn't that the theme to ABC's Wide World of Sports?
Featuring Love all great songs!
Two Instrumentals I absolutely love ..Love theme unlimited and the Theme from Shaft
Barry White --OMG the smoothest voice ever:)
He was a serious music man.
That cow sound is by holding tight so it's a quick note.
Barry is the man & all his songs just got into you. 70's were it.
Can't compare the two Barrys they are as different as chalk and cheese, they are both awesome!
Barry's vocals, backed by the beautiful Love Unlimited Orchestra, make this one really special. It went all the way to Number One in 1974. I just love the orchestration and production on this one. It has gotten better with age, like all of Barry's music. May he rest in peace.
It is said more babies were made to Barry White sings in the 70's then any other artists. He was a soul baby boom!!!
My Family and I first heard Barry White in 1971 following his music ever since, and will always love and miss him.
What is it about both deep baritones and smooth falsettos?! Chills and goosebumps. Probably why I love both Barry White and Barry Gibb 😱🔥❤️
You guys are just so cute to watch and glad your generation appreciates this great music ! 👍👍
Barry White such a great song writer
Great voice used brilliantly. One of the best band names ever ,LOVE UNLIMITED ORCASTRA
Every time Amber smiles she lights up the room! My boy "J", you best realize just what you got there. The girl is a queen!
You are absolutely "telling it like it is!"
Oh yeah. Absolutely!
Barry White is definitely the top Barry to me.
The Maestro of love..Barry White.
A lot of babies was made off of his songs I need each and every one of his song ecstasy and God knows whatever I can't even think right off the top of my head it was his sexy deep voice that's why I believe that he talked so that you can hear the deepness of his voice that's exactly how he taught me maybe even deeper
King of all the Crooners. Berry is responsible for a lot of children being born. Can't get enough
Barry White was a music mogul. He set the blueprint for others to follow like Prince. He was a writer, singer, producer, composer, musician and orchestra conductor. Not only did he have success as an artist, he also had success with The Love Unlimited Orchestra and the girl group Love Unlimited that his wife was in. LUOs hit "Love's Theme" from 1974 helped kick off the Disco era.
Barry White is my man!!! I loved him and his music was so romantic and baby making in the 70s !!!
Barry is the king of love. That deep baritone was incredible. When you want to get romantic, put some Barry on.
I think you two will really enjoy you're the first you're the last my everything by Barry White same type of funk upbeat tempo but somehow you put his voice on top of it and it makes everything sensual
Barry White had a full Orchestra of over 20 musicians winds strings percussion, his orchestrations were amazing. He co-wrote a song called “Love's Theme" is an instrumental piece and recorded by White's The Love Unlimited Orchestra group and released in 1973 as a single. It is one of the few instrumental and purely orchestral singles to reach #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
BTW, the Love Unlimited Orchestra was all women!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
ABC used it for their Opening Theme on golf tournaments
Hearts full of love...Barry white...wow
Barry white. I've got so much love to give
Nothing increases the population faster than throwing a Barry White CD in the player.
The 70s has to be the best decade for music even though I am a child of the 80s. Between the classic rock, the southern rock, the progressive rock, the jazzy rock, the soulful R&B, the rich country sound, the danceable funk and disco, raging punk rock, the fun pop music, and the deep singer/songwriter music, (I'm sure I missed one or two major genres) there just isn't any decade that can compare to the variety of amazing music that defined the decade.
Well said... Born in '71 and totally agree with your comment...
Bryan you got that right I was born in 1960 SO Ive been around the block The 70s were very special ,, I WAS ONE HAPPY TEEN
Northern Soul
Has a 1964 baby i grew up to the BEST of the BEST music wise for sure! thanks for your appreciation of our generations music!!!
The 50'-60's laid the solid foundation on the blues frame. The late 60's-70's was the era of the virtuoso musicians. The Frampton's, Page's, Clapton's, Cambell's, et al poured years into mastery of there instrument and it shows. Problem is, kids have a hard time putting that much effort in. They stripped it down and simplified it ... that's the 80's
Barry is awesome. One of my favorites.
Barry is pure fire
Yes, finally listening to Barry White!! Thank you!! You're going to love him!!
Great to see Youngster hear what real music was like back in the day. Great voices, great/clean meaning, and great dance sounds. !!
Barry the best ever!
This is my favorite Barry white song I love his voice
FINALLY, you complete the Barry trifecta (with Gibb and Manilow)! I knew you would love Barry White. I daresay more babies were made to his music than any other artist in the 70s. :) "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" is maybe one of the most romantic songs of all time. I hope you do that one next! That BARITONE!
Barry White also formed The Love Unlimited Orchestra. His orchestra’s music often backed his own songs but had some hits under their own name. Barry sometimes would conduct the orchestra! Brings back good memories from the 70’s 😉😊
yes indeed. Their "Love's Theme" comes to mind
You can like both Barry's....White is great!
Whew I do love Barry White!!! 💝💝💝💝
You really hit the nail on the head with your explanation of the difference between this old love song being sweet and respectful etc. And if it came on the radio in the family car, it wouldn’t be a problem if the kids happened to hear it.👍👍. I’m 69 and still enjoy his songs😍😍
DITTO
Nice to see today's youth enjoying this. At a tragic 61 years old, I have to be careful, because I am simply not capable of hearing this song without my entire body bopping to the rhythm!! The song itself is just so darned simple, but when all of the pieces are put together the effect is to just wrap itself around your body and soul! RIP Barry - you made some amazing classics!
Love me some Barry White! One of a kind.
"Practice What You Preach" is one of my favorite Barry White songs! Try this one!
Barry is a legend. You truly should dive more into his music. Picking up with something like "Your Sweetness, Is My Weakness". He had so many great tunes.
A whole generation was conceived to this song.😘
Ooooh Barry. Such a sexy voice. He truly was amazing!
What a treat to see your first impression of the late, great, Barry White! It was so great to see the look on your faces. Wasn't he just the best!💕💕💕
When I was a teenager in the ‘80’s, my parents bought a new car, it was the nicest car we ever had! It had a sunroof AND an 8-track stereo system in it! We all used to drive around town, windows down, sunroof open and blasting Barry White!❤️ 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎼🎵❤️ Those we’re the days!! Thanks for the walk down memory lane!!😊 Definitely, definitely, need to listen to ‘You’re the First, the Last, My Everything’!!
Later in his career Barry did a great cover of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are"
When we sang to women, not at them. Romance is lost !
Can't ever get enough Barry White !
Barrie White is perfect for today. Brought back some sweet memories for me. Thanks.
Jay: Is that cowbell?
Amber: uh huh.
I had the pleasure of meeting him at a record store signing. I got there early and he was just getting setup (or his crew were setting up). He was standing off to the side and I introduced myself as a fan (I bought his latest release) and we chatted for a few. Such a generous and sweet man. Just the genuine thing. They say you shouldn't meet your heroes (often they don't live up to your ideal), but in White's case, he was so much more. A true gem of a man! He is sorely missed.
Barry White (Philadelphia sound) performed with an orchestra. Producers Gamble and Huff and composers like Thom Bell (and others) were legends.
Rip to a great Singer Barry White we still miss you
