I assume a very large number of people exist because of Barry White.
I don't think it's just an assumption 😮
🤭👍💯
Yep
What do you mean? He impregnated my mother?
good point...let's not forget Al Green !
You better dance girl! Barry is the real deal. One of the best voices. When Barry was on David Letterman, Dave had a skit where Barry was to make any word sound sexy. Dave gave him 'gingivitis'. Yep!
One of those songs you remember 9 months LATER 🤪😉... ✌️🤠
Apart from he's unique voice he is also behind the lyrics music composition arrangements and productions...... that's why we call him The Maestro!!!!!
WOW. I didn't know this, good info. I used to get fired from every other job and was called-THE-BUM !!! Also that perm is-KILLING-me. LOL.
@user-be7tc2bd6e a bit more info for you. Barry White didn't have a deep voice till 14 when one morning he woke up and said good morning to his mother Only to scare her and himself with that sudden and unexpected voice change. He was involved at a young age with a gang and was arrested, after being briefly in prison he decided to turn to music that he loved. He wrote lyrics and music for a few tracks and was looking to find a singer to sing them, when he decided to do so himself......and the rest is history!!!!!
@@spirosoikonomopoulos2651 COOL story of Mr White and thanks for sharing.
Barry was an absolute music ledgend . So many good songs.
One more thing! Love's Theme is my favorite song by Barry's band The Love Unlimited Orchestra! He was a good concuctor as well! This is my last bye!
I love that one too!
Barry White was a certified GENIUS
So many great songs by Barry White. Check out "You're the First, The Last my Everything." and "Just the way you are."
AWB "Pick Up The Pieces" & "Cut The Cake" 1974/1975..BOTH these classics would FILL the dance floor!!
Barry White was Class ! I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to see Barry White at a Kiss Cares Concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC
Barry had such a unique, soulful voice......shake it girl😅
Saw him 4 months before he died...he couldn't sing too well, only about 45 mins. And the last 25 was a standing ovation with people crying all over...I was one of them!😢
Angela Disco was just starting to hit its stride in 74. The early part of the decade was still engrossed in R&B. So you won't find much prior to 74. Harold Melvin and groups like the O'Jays were the beginnings of what became the disco sound released earlier in the decade
For anyone who remembers the late 1990's early 2000's FOX series 'Ally McBeal', they would periodically feature Barry's songs on the soundtrack. In fact, Barry White himself appeared on the program in Season 2 Episode 18 singing 'You're My First, My Last, My Everything' as a birthday present to one of the characters. Really cool, awesome stuff.
Oh Barry, what a voice! Loved it when it first came out and I still listen to this song weekly.
Booty meter 5. Yes!
PS. I listen to his other song "My first, my last, my everything" immediately after I listen to this song.😊
I don't claim to be a boogie meterologist but I think ol' Barry deserved at least a 4 on the BM. I woulda put it at a 5 myself because this song is a classic. Really enjoy watching your reactions. Love the 70's
Barry is soooo... Smooth....❤🎶🔥 #greatpick
The love unlimited orchestra❤
The Mistro of Love, who had the deep baritone voice that made women shake and was responsible for many babies being born back in the 70's. A large man with an orchestra backing him up and that sensual growl that he made him a legend. Whether he sang fast or slow songs his rating is a five.
3 because of how smooth,
5 because of the allowance...love and peace with the Boogie ~
Barry White is so awesome! This is called baby making music! Love your reaction! ♥
I would give it a 5 loved this song.
The Maestro!
luv me some barry white, he is responsible for my son.
Barry White is the King of the Soft Soulmusic his voice so so soulfull and he is also al good musician, conductor and producer,
Barry's music help create my children !! 😂🔥💯
Most of his music starts on the dance floor, but its where you end up, the real moves happen after listening to his music.😂😂
The late great Barry White!
Continue to R.I.P Mr Barry White ❤. Thanks for this one.
He certainly had a deep voice
About time you gave Baz some air time Angela, the dude had a phenomenal voice and his music could get anyone up on the dance floor. 5❤
Smooth as a jar of Skippy
Oh,yeah! Love some Barry!🎼
Okay ladies this is another song that makes that birth control stop working. Y'all sitting here, listening, and thinking you're good. Some of y'all probably already preggo and don't even know. 😅😅
As far as tempo goes on this song I would give it a 3 as well. Barry White is awesome but the tune is just not one of those you hear come on and you look at each other and say we got to get on the dance floor but a great choice to begin with it's kind of like a warm up before we get cooking and boogie 😊Another thing is there are so many great songs from that era I think we could have a 70s dance party a few times more so whenever you're in the mood you can put up another poll and we can vote on them😊 Great analysis and reaction and boogie down in your chair and look forward to more of the great music that I grew up with listening on the radio😊 You're doing a great job and I always enjoy your reactions😊👍 Bye for now 😊👍
Okay, now we are partying! His other song of that time '' Just the way you are'' is also one of his best. It would be interesting to play the original version by Billy Joel and then Barry White remake of it.
Saw him 4 mos before he died..he couldnt sing too well....he lasted about 40 min. One of the very best!!
Barry’s threads are 🔥🔥🔥
Love this song!
Angela I didn't know you are a movie actress😱
Very impressive.
This is awesome. Don't think I have seen you react to Barry White yet. Such an enormous treasure trove of great hits to choose from. A legendary, mega superstar.
The One and Only!
Barry son sounds just like him.

Sure you didn't forget anyone?
😁😁😁
Lovely Angela.
I really dig Mr.Whites conductor in his dragon kimono
Help is on the Way by the Whatnauts shocks me that it's from 1970, definitely recommend that one if you're after 70s songs on the boogie meter
Disco started in late 1974-hence not finding disco before that year. Make sure in 1978 you check out the band Foxy and their song Get Off. Concerning Barry White, most people danced to his music horizontally if you get my drift!!
Great song 👍
Definitely a great dance and love song
Barry White was responsible for so many children in the 70s and 80s baby making music is the term. Also he had a voice that was more of a base instead of baritone definitely not tenor tuner is a high-pitched voice. Barry was all base and by the way, that was a number five.
He's a bass voice for sure
a black man singing a song that everyone...black and white loved. this happened with many motown hits, we all loved them and could relate to them..- where did it all go wrong
With the Love Unlimited Orchestra!
My favorite song from Barry White: Sweetness is my weakness
Finally you react to my man Barry White one of my favorite singers of all times for me such a special voice ❤I love him very good choice 😁😁👌👌👌

*Peter Brown
Do you wanna get funky
Ya'll know he also made instrumental Lps in the 70s!? He originally didn't want to be a singer either, so crazy, glad it worked out!
Another Boogie Rating I agree with. A 3 for me. This is a nice tune, was great for doing The Hustle, but stays the same pretty much through its entirety. Barry White was The Voice for this kinda thing in the day.
Mr.White. The Mistro of love. Rip Mr White.
Hi Angela! Yes, bongos are smaller and congas are taller. Love this 70’s theme!
Can’t ever go wrong with the Maestro! To me Bdub was more of the slow groove specialist- but I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 on the BM
That was good
I like your intro music! Pretty groovy and far out! Barry was a master at singing those sexually sensual songs, if that makes any sense! The point is, I bet slow dancing to his music was quite an experience! Bye!
Taylor Dayne has to be given mad flowers for one of the best remakes ever, her 80s take on this song is some major 🔥!
This is a classic Barry song and has the classic elements which Barry’s music is so well known for. Of course, that remarkable voice and the smooth way he delivers the song. Flawless production with the smooth as silk strings and percussive elements which lend that groove. While I love this song, I think you would have served your 70s Disco (Dance) theme better with a different Barry song which fits your 70s Disco theme more closely. This song is my personal favorite of Barry’s and it had an extended version as well which was a big club hit at the time as well. The song is “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything” ruclips.net/video/YPyyg-Uft8o/видео.htmlsi=JQDIx-oJUXMmZxBe
Great song!!
Barry could have just spoken the words… 😊
By the way, I enjoy what you do very much keep going with it since I’m talking about some Tina Marie from the 80s. Give you two songs one is called Portuguese love it’s from the 80s another one square biz.
Oh my god that voice !!!!!!
5:30.-Angela, some conga players have a set which also includes bongos and 2 cowbells in a left to right setting..And Barry was a big Baritone singer.I'll give it 3 and a half on your boogie meter.
A 3!...that just shows how young you are.... It's Barry White for God's sake. 😂
The early 70's we were still in the "Beatles" realm
When the words "dance" and "the 70s" come up, I think most people will think "disco," which started in the mid 70s. Of course, a song doesn't have to be disco to be danceable. I won't be surprised if all or almost all of the suggestions are disco songs. And yes, the big drums are congas, the small ones are bongos.
Barry had a million hits
The first ever musical guest of the Simpsons
u are the best chair dancer on RUclips and the most beautiful can't wait till u dance to September by Earth Wind and Fire 1978😊
Baritone bordering on bass.
welcome in france super musique barry white très bon choix 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🤩
❤❤❤
Horizontal dance music 😲
Check out Barry and Tina Turner in the song In Your Wildest Dreams
Lots of KC and the Sunshine Band
I like Taylor Dayne's sample as well. You should check it out.
Please do Never Gonna Give You Up by mr Maestro Barry White
Don't know who is feeding you songs but they missed a ton of good songs from 1970. Either you have covered these on patreon or just missed these. Good times and LeFreak by Chic, Heaven must be missing an angel by Tavares, Disco Inferno by the Trammps and Best of my love by the Emotions. There are more out there through the decade.
OK. we are over here girl. Google later. Yes, girl. JUST absorb and experience that which is before your conception.
Hot Chocolate "You Sexy Thing" 1975
5.5
We called his songs "panty droppers" back in the day !!!
Dude would've been an excellent gospel singer.
Ok, Angela. I want to see you really blush while you bounce in your chair. Try these songs by the Maestro of Love.
NEVER, NEVER, GONNA GIVE YOU UP,
YOU'RE THE FIRST, THE LAST, MY EVERYTHING,
& PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH.
I'm really interested in seeing which, I'd not all of these songs go on your phone.
Also, Richard Marx has two great songs waiting for you.
KEEP COMING BACK,
and DON'T MEAN NOTHING.
Keep going and enjoy
Anutha jam!

This was earlier in 74! Big Bad BARRY WHITE!! The Man could Sing Some " Panties " off a Girl! I found it Interesting that the Only People that would talk Badly about Ol BARRY Were Other Black men! Growing up in Cincinnati i heard it from several Black men.Our Neighbor was a Black man. Who always Called BARRY Nasty Names. I think that was because his Wife was Crazy about his Music 🎶 😂
