Barry White's story is proof that you don't have to let a life of poverty and misfortune deter you from doing great things. You CAN turn your life around !! He did. He and his brother were involved in gangs and a car theft ring. Barry was arrested and while in his jail cell, he heard Elvis Presley on the radio singing " it's now or never". He took those words to heart and changed his life around. He was incredibly gifted and talented and I wish MORE young people would learn a lesson about how this juvenile delinquent became a musical legend. Your social / economic circumstances don't have to hold you back from leaving a positive, inspiring and memorable mark in this world.😄💜💜💜

I'm convinced that the world got worse because artists like Barry, Michael, prince, Luther left us too soon. 💜

The voice, the orchestral arrangement, "I've Got So Much to Give," is a masterpiece, and Barry White was a true master of the romantic songs craft --- the Maestro. So glad you took that long walk from South LA to Hollywood! RIP my brotha!.

This song hits me every time I hear it...I almost went crazy very depressed after losing my baby to miscarriage. October 1st 1973 it was my 1st I was 18 years old. Like the song says it does take years I almost gave up. Thank God for my husband who was patient and loving through it all. ❤

An R&B Classical orchestra? We just did not understand how blessed we were to have an artist like this making this kind of legendary music.

Pure Genius. BARRY is in a class by himself. No one has ever reached those heights of love. Only Barry White. R.I.P.

As a kid I wondered why my mom listened to him but damn I see why as a mature adult he was charming. This is how a man should talk to you.

I grew up as an adult in the 70's with Barry White music. Just turned 70yrs old a few days ago, then stumbled on a Barry White song tonight after watching Bruce Willis in 16 Blocks. My wife and I used to play Barry's songs during intimate moments we had . It's been a difficult 49yrs of marriage, but it's always good to hear Barry's magical voice again and remember some of the past sweet memories. Better comfort though comes in the truth that one day " God will make all things right." I'm looking forward to that time .
