You know, with all the complex cars nowadays, with all their fancy technology, and sweet gadgets, it's refreshing to see such a simple, barebones, and ordinary small car like this in today's day and age. Mitsubishi embodies that new car old feeling very well, and honestly, I give them respect for that. They are just providing people with a simple mode of transportation that will get them where they need to go without any fuss, amazing warranty with a 5 year, 100,000-km (just over 62,100 miles) warranty, and reliability. The Mirage is an example of no BS, simple, easy-to-use, inoffensive, and just easy car to live with, and that's a great thing, so props to Mitsubishi for just giving us an honest car, despite it being well outdated (some people may like that). Also, that fuel economy is just outstanding~ You'll definitely be saving a crap ton of money with this car.
The base ES 3rd gen 2021-present comes with a good quality 7" Alpine touchscreen, key-less entry, auto HVAC, 6 way adjustable seat, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, bluetooth, HD radio, steering wheel includes buttons for volume/cruise control/ask google, power windows/locks all around, crash avoidance detection, pedestrian detection, back up cam, and an actually spare tire instead of that bullshit fix-ah-flat foam junk. There are ten year old Mercedes that don't have these features. To me, that's a lot of amenities for a base model econobox. The next trim LE adds 14" alloys and a nicer shift knob. The BE trim adds 15" black alloys, fog lights, red stitching, bolder seat pattern, soft touch materials, more piano black, and a faux leather wrapped steering wheel. The top SE trim has silver 15" alloys, push button start, and comes with a proximity key.
Thank you for reviewing such an affordable car! We have far too many expensive new cars in America but very few cheap new cars so I'm grateful for the Mirage!
I always appreciate the Mitsubishi Mirage and Mirage G4 for being a good value for Money. It's not a sports car or luxurious and that's not what it's trying to be. It's basic A to B transportation, that gets great Gas Mileage and great warranty. It's a shame it's one of 3 cars left in a dying segment in America (the others being the Nissan Versa and Kia Rio). I hope it stays in the market.
How would be comparison between Nissan and Mitsubishi quality of build and finish? I've seen them both in real life and Nissan seems to be using a lot more plastic than Mitsubishi. Any thoughts?
Decent video but I don’t understand why OP says “alright” several times when it implied that he had an slightly higher expectation on this car. “This looks alright, that looks alright” and repeat for any other area of this car. Too bad OP doesn’t have any takeaway or conclusion of this car at the end of the video. It just open the door for anyone else like myself to question his judgement.
I understand the purpose of this car, so I can't complain really. But I wish it had at least a regular automatic transmission. That CVT with that underpowered 3 cyl. engine makes the driving experience awful, especially when driving in rural areas where there are hills.
@@seanmcgivney7631 I don't have one but I have driven one and have been also inside as a passanger and those cars are weak as hell. I rented one like 3 years ago and when going up on a hill in the freeway I had to put it on L because even on Ds it didn't have power.
Actually mirage is from the Philippines the new in the Mitsubishi is the Mitsubishi exports all new in the Mitsubishi the most beautiful in the world we have a Mirage 2015 I was born 2015 just like our mirage we get him in July 10 2022 it's 2 years ago
@@Iegend17 Actually, I'd argue that the drive is the most important aspect for anyone looking for a review of that car because the main concern with it is how it handles day to day commutes, especially on the highway, with its meager power. I can read the spec sheet to know what features/equipment the car has, but how it drives is what I expect to get the reviewer's opinion on, until I manage to drive it myself that is.
Seems I need to help you understand something. When you do a car review video your opinion of its appearance is not required especially when you say it over and over and over and your opinion is so bland and uninteresting. It would be different if you liked it but you just keep telling us how you don't. Your opinion on appearance is not required because we viewers can decide that for ourselves. Just drive the car.😮

This car is bad, please don't buy it
??? Auto air...8" screen...there's plenty
This car just works. No frills, and it’s very efficient. This car is perfect for that.
This will be my first car!! Good review bro.

The engine is same size as the battery
😂😂
Nice review, though I wish you had taken us on a test drive. That's my favorite part of your reviews.
The only thing that bothers me is the shifter. I assume there must be a cost-saving reason for that zip-zag though?

All of the cars are wired for the fogs so you can just bolt some on and plug them in dont have to wire anything the plugs are taped up in the fenders
Mitsubishi “Alright” Mirage 😂
Jokes aside I love this compact affordable practical car
👍😊
lol I came here LOOKING for this comment 😂

And he didn't bother to road test it. I think that's the most important part of car reviews
Is the optional Rockford/Fosgate subwoofer system still available for the upper level model Mirage? Thanks! ♐
The tires on the old mirage were tiny and narrow. Are these tires at least a bit wider?
I mentioned the size not sure about the older ones. You would know better
Didn't they axe the kia rio?
No, it’s still there
@@Theloyalestwifeit’s discontinued now
I don't think it looks bad at all
Looks like the size of an mk3
Needs 16" rims for sure.
It's funny every time you say "Alright" as if everything in this car is fine and nothing too exciting to expect 😂

Mirage CVT handle hill just fine. The Ds mode helps. Noisy? Sure. End of the world???? Absolutely not
Oh really? Do you have one? I do. I zip around up hills and anywhere I want just fine.

Can someone tall fit in it
I have the 23 hatchback I'm 6ft my brother is 6 4 no problems
I played this video at 2x speed and he still talks slow
You being serious. People complain about how fast I talk lol
Turbo kit is the only thing that lacks
Will the legend comment
Lol
To call this a 'review' it needed to have included a road test.
@@sammyt3514 the dealership was closing and it was late in the day. It’s not worth taking this car on a drive 😂

This car is flat-out ugly compared to its 2014 styling & have been discontinued!
