The reliability of this car is amazing if you take care of it. Our almost 8-year-old 2016 GLX still runs strong and never had an issue. I remember people telling me pag "5 yrs" dun lumalabas yung mga sakit. Now I realized kung barubal ka magdrive and you don't take care of your vehicle then siguro ganon nga ang mangyayari. The SRP at the time was only 650K All the more reason not to sell our car. I'll keep it and hand it over to my teenage daughter when the time comes. It's not cheap to keep it running in great condition but that comes with owning a vehicle and making sure it stays reliable for many years.
my Mirage G4 is 4 years old now and still runs like new. It usually runs 24-25km/L and is extremely cheap to maintain. It's a great car for a family of 4 with its trunk space.
This was the best car review I have watched in a very long time. You did an excellent job of presenting and demonstrating the car, and explaining its features and shortcomings. I live in the US. I traded out of a pickup truck last January and got 2 G4’s, a 2018 automatic, and a 2019 manual. Both cars were still brand new because they had never been sold before, so I wound up buying them at close to 50% off msrp. I sold the 2018 for $1350 more than I paid for it, and I’m loving my 2018. At over 50mpg in the summer months commuting to and from work, my weekly gasoline bill is still cheaper now with these high gas prices than it was with the pickup truck 17 months ago. I love my little G4, and I don’t think I’ll be selling it anytime soon. 😊
One of the reasons for Mitsubishi cars G4/montero/Strada feel less underpower and better fuel efficiency than other brands is they used high strength thin steel so the overall weight compared to other brands is lighter.. Its all about power to weight ratio.. which help to use less fuel and give better performance. No review seems to talk about weight ! p.s. Love the Channel
I own a 2020gls ,and it still looks great and I’m satisfied for its performance. Speaking about its price from an owner like me, I think the 2022gls is really overpriced, yes it’s more expensive than 2020gls. You can appreciate this car if you’ll get the gls or totl variant. And the price today, better get an Expander (7seater). Vios is a good choice but it’s more expensive, g4 gls price is just a middle variant of vios. And if you’re in a car loan like me, vios is very expensive coz of interest. G4 gls is still a nice car given its fuel economy, it’s an eco car, once you start the car it’s already in eco mode.
Fuel efficiency. And then that's it. The MOST IMPORTANT feature of a car nowadays, in my humble opinion. Thanks for the review, Autodeal! Road to 1 million! Woohoo!
Our Mirage G4 that was bought more than 3 years ago is still fresh and running smoothly. Some people say that it is enough to carry you and your family from point A to point B. Pero for actual owners, it is actually a great car for its price. The aircon is good, the seating for 4 people is very good. Matibay din, so far only PMS pa lng nagagastos and fuel efficiency is top. Compared to the Vios, it is quite economically can average for City/Highway driving for about 14-15 km/L vs the VIOS (also depends on load, driving practice and road condition) that is about 11-12km/L. All I can say is that this is a great car from point A to point B. If you own it, you would really know that it is also a great car. Usually ang mga nagsasabi na panget ang Mirage G4 ay yun ndi may ari ng Mirage G4 at umpisa pa regardless sa ride and driving experience ay ayaw na talaga nila.
Owned a 2014 Mirage G4 at 122k kms already still alive and kickin though if I’m not mistaken the first gen of Mirage was made in Thailand which they had a very good reputation in terms of longevity and durability. Was hoping they followed the same standards for the next generation of Mirage since it is made in the Philippines.
I picked up a 2022 mirage g4 black edition inferred red. I only had it picked it over a Kia Rio do to it being sold below msrp vs all the other brand’s of cars getting 40+mpg had 3000/5000 above msrp. It has really grown on me as I can pull up to 54mpg heading to work 28 miles and as high as 47mpg heading home. Vs my f150 that got at best 18mpg but seemed to fall of to 16 average fast
Hi sir. We are planning to get one for personal and business use (pangharabas as you say). However, we are planning to get the GLX (MT) variant. My only concern is that the rear seats are not foldable just as the ones in the GLS variant. My question is, do you think it is possible to install the rear seats of the GLS variant to the GLX one? Thank you :-)
Mirage G4 sold a lot when it was still priced below 700k with an automatic transmission. I just can't believe that Mitsubishi is selling the same car at 900k with a straight face. It's a good practical car and nothing else. Pricing it to compete way above it's weight class is just going to doom this it. If you have that much budget, get a proper sedan like a Vios, Almera, etc. Heck, get a Toyota Raize, practically the same price. Get something else if you need a smaller better quality subcompact like a Suzuki Dzire.
Lugi sa Space for Raize and Dzire. Mirage has big cabin and compartment but again 2022 is overpriced , but still many are buying. I have gls2020, I wouldn't buy the 2022 even it has android auto , apple carplay, voice command etc. I'll get a 7seater than the 2022 G4
My 2015 Mirage G4 with 142k odo is still kicking gas mileage down with 22 km/l, on a bad day it's roughly around 15 km/l in the city. Honestly I would trade a center arm rest with fuel efficiency any day, my G4 doesn't even have a LCD infotainment system tbh hahaha
Our mirage g4 is now in 5th year and covered 100K+ km, no major problem. Sadly mas mahal an siya ngayun at mas talo sa features sa iba pero I would still give mitsubishi a benefit of the doubt that they know what they're doing.
I think their gameplan is to sell many due to big cash discounts and bank P.O. and also earn a lot from in house financing. Plus the car is extremely fuel efficient and also reliable.
The Mirage is very fuel efficient and.. that's it. Everything else about the Mirage is below average and very dated compared to competitors like the Vios and City.

@@remuel1 I'd rather opt in with Soluto, or Dzire than the Mirage. It's now 2022 but it seems that some features were left out. I've driven a 2016 Mirage and it seems only the face, rear armrest with cupholders, a/c and infotainment have been improved. The rest... 🤔 well .

How about, any problems with FAST KEY? Is it the alarm getting off whenever you open the driver's door? Because I just purchased mine and I have this problem.
When comparing the base model's price with its rivals, Mitsubishi can actually afford to go up. Because buyers know that its a price worth paying in exchange of the frugality of the car. I will always fondly remember the time when I was fuelling to return a borrowed mirage telling the gasoline boy "full tank" and then was surprised a few seconds later to be charged only 200 pesos. I drove a little over 80km for that trip (from Legazpi city to south of Sorsogon city for any bicolano here). I think if you would buy a mirage, one should go for the manual. You'll save so much fuel in 5th gear but there's always power that you can tap in the 3rd gear. Hehe.
Hi @autodeal. I learned that the foldable rear seat feature is only available by default on the GLS variant. However, if I opt to get the GLX Manual variant, this foldable rear seat is not included. If ever I am going to have an extra budget for this, can I have the rear seats of the GLS variant installed on the GLX (MT) variant? Thank you 🙂
My first drive and is really a great starter car. Good space inside and really fuel efficient. im not a speedster and im just ok with the 1.2L CVT engine for everyday drive within the metro. At the current price point though, it really becomes a difficult sell. Add a little more and youll get a better equipped car.
the Spark barely sells here. Accent, Reina and Rio are axed, Soluto and Almera is selling ok. there are a lot of filipinos here who doesn't explore a lot when it comes to cars. they just want a car that drives as long as doesn't have a big maintenance cost and that's the reality.
Good job Mitsubishi for putting a good-looking facelift, so much better than the previous generation, but but but, it doesn't give justice to its price, better get the Almera or City.
I drove this car and it's amazing! The only thing I like to comment is it's behind. Hope Mitsubishi will redesign it like a fastback in order to compete with other brands which is aesthetically more appealing than this car.

A mirage g4 can be modded tho..remap ecu Stage 1 and add full exhaust muffler and swapping headers and bigger air intake Yung mushrooms style the mirage would be on par with a stock honda civic
They giveth and they take away, most importantly NO ABS brakes as with the previous model, no center arm rest is just unbelievable. The best thing about the G4 is the rear legroom, and that's it.
At 899k, weak engine, basic features, and also lacking the basic features of that price range like rear aircon vents and even a center console arm rest, I can't see this car's appeal when there's so much better choices at that price range. This car gets old quickly.
Agreed that's what Japanese car maker do to us loyal pinoys, they over charge us for underwhelming cars while Chinese car makers are just spoiling us with features for an affordable price.

Almost everything you just said about the mirage is subjective. (Example, rain on the roof will drive you crazy. Bruh, I love the sound of rain. I live in the west where we’ve been in a drought for the past two decades and it barely rains. Super depressing.) I just bought the Black Edition G4 last week. Traded in my old lancer for it. It’s a great commuter car. Comfortable ride, has more bells and whistles technology wise then my lancer. But most importantly it gets the job done, which is getting me from A to B in comfort while also being extremely frugal. This car is alive and well for 2022 and beyond.
Same lang dimension at looks pero mas pogi yung headlight and tail light ng attrage (mirage) sa thailand. And it is released years ago. New look for us but old for other countries.
That is exactly price range. i purchased a mirage G4 2022 automatic at 670k net price thru bank PO/Loan. That is how big the discount is being offered by mitsubishi
I like the little car and would seriously considering getting one in the US if it only had like 90 HP and a telescoping steering wheel. That's all it would take and I'd be sold.
@@Rick-of6gx 20% more HP would make a fair bit of difference in a car that light weight. That's like driving a naturally aspirated car at sea level vs. a mile in elevation. Its noticeable (if you've ever done it).

Hope Mitsubishi Ph will price this much much lower. At P899K for the TOTL, this is simply overpriced. Also, ABS is not standard among all variants? Tsk tsk. Consider the safety of the customers pls.
60 Kph is for the weak, try 80 Kph man Other mods or options like Performance Air filter, Racing Spar plugs, Racing Throttle Body & Turbo Charger to be installed. You will be way more than other car owners out there.

i wonder how they drifted it during the launch because the mirage is fwd
A mirage g4 can be modded tho..remap ecu Stage 1 and add full exhaust muffler and swapping headers and bigger air intake Yung mushrooms style the mirage would be on par with a stock honda civic
I’m about to buy this car but upon reading your comments, hmmm.. I like the aesthetics but you said it’s overpriced :(
I've watched almost every video on this channel. How many Asics shoes do you have? and I'm waiting for the giveaway car LOL
They giveth and they take away, most importantly NO ABS brakes as with the previous model, no center arm rest is just unbelievable. The best thing about the G4 is the rear legroom, and that's it.
Mittelarmlehne bei Amazon für 60 Euro zu bekommen kein Problem
At 899k, weak engine, basic features, and also lacking the basic features of that price range like rear aircon vents and even a center console arm rest, I can't see this car's appeal when there's so much better choices at that price range. This car gets old quickly.
But the GLS Sport variant gets an additional P30,000 and 300 units only.
Agreed that's what Japanese car maker do to us loyal pinoys, they over charge us for underwhelming cars while Chinese car makers are just spoiling us with features for an affordable price.
I can see the reason why a lot of people nowadays change or sell their cars after 5 or 6 years. Yung iba naman nagpapahatak or ipapasalo dahil di rin pla satisfied sa purchase nila.
@@weldottv6973 oo nga for a family of five or more, better choice ang Ertiga dahil mas mura. Kahit nga ang Dzire mas better choice at yung MG ZS dahil mas malaki ang space, mataas ang ground clearance, at mas malakas ang power.
Mitsubishi went from making lancers and rally cars to this. They could have atleast released a turbo charged version of this mirage to make the car more appealing to drive.
With the prices of gasoline now @ p76.00/liter, this car will stand out.
Bakit marami pong haters nito sa Reddit po? Sa mga owners po jan pa share po experience nyo with this car, thank you po!
Still no ac vents & charging points at the back. Great review though Caco 👋👋👋 Keep them coming 👍👍👍
I'm planning to get a g4 soon
Imagine if this vehicle has the 4A91 engine, I think it would be actually quite competitive. Paying 800k for a poultry 1.2L 76HP is bad decision imo.
Agreed that's what Japanese car maker do to us loyal pinoys, they over charge us for underwhelming cars while Chinese car makers are just spoiling us with features for an affordable price.
Hence the hefty discounts you can already avail for the G4 😁
@@MiggyMndza yeah but Chinese brands has that too... I guess you can argue that the purpose of the car is to be fuel efficient. But that's way too much asking price for it.
@@MrMekmek29 not sure if other brands offers discounts of more or less 100k tho. When we speak of Mitsubishi discounts, it's more than the typical amounts that most manufacturers give.
@@MiggyMndza If what your saying is actually true, where the discounts brings down the price to where the car is supposed to be priced to begin with, then by all means go for it and I think it might be the better option compared to others. I never said it was a bad vehicle, I just think paying an actual 800k is a bit too much for that performance 😆
mitsubishi drifted one of these? i wonder how they drifted a fwd 70hp car with one of the tiniest wheels put on a car
I have a mirage HB 2018 MT. 25-26km/L. Very efficient.
How can you achieve 25km/L? I can only get 14km/L city driving with mine. Hahaha 2018 model too
@@charlesjimenez2322 Do you have an MT too?
There's 3 of us. This is on a highway po. Pag sa city, almost the same tayo. Pag sa highway, I always (almost) use the outerlane and at 60-70 speed lang. Wala kasing expressway samin kaya isang factor din yun. I always make sure na I won't go beyond 2k rpm din po.
Correction with the dimensions, please check you Height and Width. Thanks.
Watching from leyte... Happy driving😊
Applying a car loan on this unit hopefully I will be approved by the bank
Fuel efficiency - great. Durability - seems good as well. But I'd rather opt in with a Soluto, or Dzire than the Mirage. It's now 2022 but it seems that some features were left out. I've driven a 2016 Mirage and it seems only the face, rear armrest with cupholders, a/c and infotainment have been improved. The rest... 🤔 well.
Mirage 2022 using calsonic AC kaya kung meron kang nissan unit alam mo kung gano kalamig ang AC nya
to tell you the truth, the Mirage G4 is basically the same since 2013. sana may major change na gawin sa Mirage G4.
The looks is nice.. the ride quality and NVH sucks big time.. Uber soft suspension, rain in the roof will drive you crazy. Only thing going for it is fuel economy.. But the rest has stepped up its game.. Not a good choice now at 2022
Almost everything you just said about the mirage is subjective.
With its price, i would get a HONDA CITY, super reliable and high resale value, more powerfull engine and better features.
The next time we see a new Mirage, it will be co-partnered with Nissan. So sad how mitsu cars have become.
I would price this one around 650k to 750k
Else, I'll just get a Nissan Almera or Geely Emgrand for 700k to 900k
Just go and buy rusi
That is exactly price range. i purchased a mirage G4 2022 automatic at 670k net price thru bank PO/Loan. That is how big the discount is being offered by mitsubishi
Yeah i like the facelifted Miirage but I'm most interested in your 1 million subscriber car giveaway!
My Mirage is now 9 years old (2016 Model)
I like the little car and would seriously considering getting one in the US if it only had like 90 HP and a telescoping steering wheel. That's all it would take and I'd be sold.
Lol yeah because that extra 16 or so extra hp is really going to make the difference.
@@Rick-of6gx 20% more HP would make a fair bit of difference in a car that light weight. That's like driving a naturally aspirated car at sea level vs. a mile in elevation. Its noticeable (if you've ever done it).
Can you use the phrase "Pushing P" on your next review?
Yes its features are outdated compare to his competitors but still i want to own one, kasi im not mapili in terms of cars, basta madala lang ako from point a to b thats it,
Great little car, efficient and reliable for daily driven.
pre pandemic i was getting 8km/L qc-makati route on a 2015 cvt unit
May neighbor has a 2018 G4 model but has no center arm rest.
Hope Mitsubishi Ph will price this much much lower.
At P899K for the TOTL, this is simply overpriced.
Also, ABS is not standard among all variants? Tsk tsk. Consider the safety of the customers pls.
Yes. Overpriced and mediocre features.
oo nga standard by law na dapat yan ee
Even the Vios J have ABS/EBD and is only 707k. What happened to Mitsu??
Lmao. Baka hindi mo pa nakikita ang safety feature ng hyundai accent crdi price is 1million no abs and airbag buushit
@@bffshakeshakefrieswithbbqf6641 Hyundai thinks they're Toyota giving the Philippines barebones model. Lol
in Việt Nam not name Mirage G4 GLX, Việt Nam is name Attrage
The prev gen was already a hard sell, this one will be harder with better chinese cars available at competitive prices.
60 Kph is for the weak, try 80 Kph man
Other mods or options like Performance Air filter, Racing Spar plugs, Racing Throttle Body &
Turbo Charger to be installed. You will be way more than other car owners out there.
It's sad they stop making the lancer evolution.
Ph needs the hatch mirage. The end
It's still in PH but it needs the face-lift like right here...
@@kaitospence18 Nah. I mean the facelifted one
The late and really great evo 😢 3:12
Medyo overpriced. Mas sulit dati nung nasa 700k lang yan. For its current price, you can already get a 7-seater or base crossover.
BLOOPERS COMPILATION PLEASE
Still hoping for a new Pajero or Lancer or an Adventure. 😊
See der new Colt ab 09/23 auf Basis des Renault Clio
Would not mind owning 1 if had a manual transmission n bigger wheels. Feel like this car need new tires a lot if U daily it.
Wished they just bring the Lancer/Evos back
