I worked at Pizza Hut back in the day, when the bigfoot was on the menu (as it was phasing out). Those might be the their toppings now, but I can promise you those were not their toppings back then. The bell pepper was diced, and it came packaged, maybe even frozen. The pepperoni was smaller and the crumble on sausage was tiny compared to what is in the bowl. Also, there was no dipping sauce. You could get the tomato sauce, or one of the salad dressings in little plastic cup. If you really want to remake a great pizza, make the Pizza Hut Chunky style from 1993.

The Bigfoot pizza did in fact have a sour finish to the crust. I only had it a couple times at birthday parties, but I remember that it tasted different.
Weird. I worked at Pizza Hut when this was big. It was exactly the same crust and toppings. Might be because the oil just hit the square pans different, because the ingredients were the same.

In 2003 Pizza Hut made a pulled pork pizza that was really good. I recall the one time I managed to get one while it existed. I ate an entire pizza in the span of 12 hours. (For me that's a lot and a claim to how impressively good it was and how it needs to be brought back.)
Yeah I remember that one. It had BBQ sauce as a base instead of marinara sauce. I hated making it because of the way it felt to tear apart clumps of shredded pork from the rest of it in the tub and slap it on the pizza in little piles.
There is a small pizza franchise called Fox's Pizza Den where you can order a Big Daddy Pizza. It is 12" x 24". I worked at one while in college. It's still one of my favorite Pizza places and I drive a few hours to get a fix every year or so. Some locations also have a 24" x 24" called The Big One. I never had the pleasure of making that one.
Is Josh the only only one who has the total of 'mythical chef' on this channel? I feel like Trevor could be the Mythical Baker, Nichole could be a Mythical chef. Give the crew some mythical titles if they want one.
Aaaaah, Haley Joel Osment was even tinier than I was prepared for. Adorable. People always talk about him in Sixth Sense but nobody ever talks about his equally amazing performance in AI. More people should watch this wonderful movie. Please. edit: I wrote this before I got to the part where Trevor said it was his favourite HJO movie. Nice.
Josh holding his cup with both hands reminds me of a little kid lol the only thing he missed was gasping for air after drinking for so long😂 also loved the talk of cryptids
As a former Pizza Hut employee, these were the absolute bane of my existence. The pans were unwieldy and a pain in the butt to wash at the end of the night.
I worked the line when these were out. They slowed down EVERYTHING. You'd have a half dozen pizzas on order, but would need to wait for the f***er that ordered the Bigfoot to get out of the conveyer-belt oven before you could cook the other 5.
Fun fact: wendigo is not a cryptid, they are part of the active spiritual belief of a native tribe who specifically don't want people to talk about them.
Weird when one of my lifelong hobbies crosses paths with a cooking show. I've been a casually dedicated follower of Cryptozoology for as long as I remember, so this episode hits close to home. Well done you guys.
so I'm interested, in the cryptozoology community how do they square the fact that now 90+% of the population have HD cameras in their pockets with the fact that the number of sightings of cryptids haven't gone up and if anything have decreased?
@@Dream146 The reason YOU haven't been hearing about sightings, is because you haven't been searching. And I'm not talking about looking online. I'm talking about real ground work. Finding people, working together to analyze evidence FIRST HAND. Pretty much everything on the internet has been falsified. You can't walk a half a mile in Nevada without finding someone with UNBELIEVABLE evidence. And don't even get me started on areas like Appalachia, and Louisiana. It's not hard to find, you're just looking in the wrong places.
We had the Mia pizzas when my parents wanted to seem like they paid more money for pizza instead of going to little ceasers. I always found that the pizza dough was so sweet and had so much sugar.
I still remember making the sauce at Pizza Hut c.1994....barrels of sauce and a spice packet, stirred sometimes with a spatula, sometimes with a whole arm 😀
If this pizza were remade, ask your local pizza hut if they still have any "Big Italy" pans in storage. If they dont know what those are, just say the giant brownie sheet pan no one knows what its used for🤣

I remember making that pizza. It had a sweet sauce and a chewy dough. And something like 60 pepperonis we had to count out as we placed them.
I need more of this. This right here. The wife came in and checks on me because I was howling with laughter and crying while looking at my phone. Thank you. Y’all are amazing.
I'm so happy Past Food is back!!!
Is Josh the only only one who has the total of 'mythical chef' on this channel? I feel like Trevor could be the Mythical Baker, Nichole could be a Mythical chef. Give the crew some mythical titles if they want one.
trevor and josh giggling uncontrollably at the end of the video made my day
As a guy with a MUCH younger brother, I super appreciate the older/younger sibling energy here. Nailed it. Enjoy your pizza fellas!
Nice.
Josh drinking the Pepsi like a gremlin while Trevor falls apart, absolute perfection
Beauty and Grace all in one episode of Mythical Kitchen. Ben at the end with the red cups had me dying
I feel your big dishwashing frustration!!!
I worked the line when these were out.
They slowed down EVERYTHING. You'd have a half dozen pizzas on order, but would need to wait for the f***er that ordered the Bigfoot to get out of the conveyer-belt oven before you could cook the other 5.
They _wayyyyyyyy_ under-did the amount of pepperoni on this.
A friggin medium had 40 pepperoni.
I seriously needed this silliness and goodness today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I love this, the dirty boi’s are playing and cooking again !!!
My hometown pizza hut has a salad bar and the idea that anyone could experience a pizza hut sans salad bar is absolutely earth-shattering.
I've misssed these two by themselves 🤣 had me in stitches
Love Trevor and josh together to see how much Trevor has stepped out his shell is amazing
Josh has ascended to God status for the perfect Nicholas Cage quote from Gone in 60 Seconds
“I’m a little tired!
I’m a little wired!”
Thank you for identifying that, I could not place it for the life of me
I really appreciate the Gone in 60 Seconds reference.
Fun fact: wendigo is not a cryptid, they are part of the active spiritual belief of a native tribe who specifically don't want people to talk about them.
I need more Trevor and Josh in my life!! I'd love to see Josh, Trevor, and Emily together!
Weird when one of my lifelong hobbies crosses paths with a cooking show. I've been a casually dedicated follower of Cryptozoology for as long as I remember, so this episode hits close to home. Well done you guys.
I have a story about an animal here in Wisconsin that might be labeled a cryptid if you'd like to hear it.
so I'm interested, in the cryptozoology community how do they square the fact that now 90+% of the population have HD cameras in their pockets with the fact that the number of sightings of cryptids haven't gone up and if anything have decreased?
@@mikellanas1207 please do
@@Dream146 The reason YOU haven't been hearing about sightings, is because you haven't been searching.
I always come into these expecting chaos and yet they exceed expectations every time 😭
When Trevor started talking about gator pits I was waiting for fudpuckers. I live about an hour from there
Josh's ability to recall obscure childhood information is just frightening, lol.
I still remember making the sauce at Pizza Hut c.1994....barrels of sauce and a spice packet, stirred sometimes with a spatula, sometimes with a whole arm 😀
I would love to see the 4 alarm spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. This was in the early 2000s. It was my favorite then they discontinued it. 🙏 🙏 🙏
Or Wendy's from the 90s had a chicken Ceasar wrap but it was on a Flatbread
I do so love the episodes where you can tell 90% of the lines were unscripted
In Trevors defense, they did fill the cup up way too much 😂
I grew up in hilltop Tacoma in the early 90s, and there was a Little Cesar's a block away... it was rare that we got this, but I remember this fondly.
If this pizza were remade, ask your local pizza hut if they still have any "Big Italy" pans in storage. If they dont know what those are, just say the giant brownie sheet pan no one knows what its used for🤣
Top niche comment
Hmmm... the pans were the bane of my existence when I worked there in 1993. But I would totally dig having one now.
Yo... Pizza Hut salad bar and buffet was a key component of my childhood. This episode brought back all the memories. 11/10!!!
The ending was just chaos 😂❤️
my favorite part about Pizza Hut will always be the uncontrollable giggles from sleepovers from yesteryear. Glad Trevor and Josh unknowingly touched on that.
Just a reminder that this pizza was launched by Reggie Fils-Aime. Yes. That one.
we need more episodes of this. :
