That is a sign of a good man, sometimes people struggle with denial and ego but if they are good people they will be able to humble themselves. Most owners on this show couldnt do that

It's also because this show is highly scripted, and they need the drama.... Has there been an episode where the chef immediately agrees to change? No, cause that would be boring. I mean, I like pro wrestling as much as the next guy, but I know most of it is fake.
It's hilarious when people say things like "I'm Mexican I know what a Cesar salad is like" but then if you watch Gordon's shows he's been to the best Mexican local places and respects the culture and food as well as many other places. This is why he's one of the best and just because you were born somewhere doesn't mean you're good at cooking the food
@OriginalGazGoose from what I read, Caesar salad was invented in the early 1920s by Caesar Cardini, an Italian chef who owned a restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico and not by Julius Ceaser
Who Invented Caesar Salad? The Caesar salad is often believed to have been created by Julius Caesar himself. But it wasn’t. Caesar salad was invented in the early 1920s by Caesar Cardini, an Italian chef who owned a restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico. He moved to Tijuana from California to avoid Prohibition, and it was here, on July 4th, 1924, where Caesar is believed to have invented the Caesar Salad. According to his daughter, Rose Cardini, the restaurant was overrun with American customers. Short on ingredients in the kitchen, her father assembled what was left: lettuce stalks, olive oil, raw egg, croutons, parmesan cheese and Worcestershire sauce. Originally intended as finger food, the original Caesar salad recipe called for whole lettuce leaves, which were to be dipped in the dressing and then eaten with the fingers. It was a hit. Cardini's salad became so popular that it was soon being served in restaurants all over the world. Today, it is one of the most popular salads in America.
This guy is a body language genius. In the fridge He made himself smaller cuz the chef is fairly small but kept on with insulting making it purely professional. So the chef wouldn't feel intimidated by his size and act instinctively.
Good observation. He has to have learned reading people'from how intense interpersonal work relationships get in the kitchen when you spend more time there than at home, you HAVE to make it work and it's hard to hear yourself think let alone anyone else
as a former server it's really nice to see how Gordon almost always forms an alliance with the servers, being nice and jovial. Normally you're the first one to get all the complaints and all the negative emotions into your face, as if you're responsible for how the restaurant is run, how the food tastes, etc. - and on top, there's often a lot of dissonance between front and back of the house in form of blame games, so you're not only used to take the heat from the customers, but also getting blamed and screamed from the kitchen...

Because Matt was the only real cook on the line at the time, including gordon's lackeys. Half of the "mistakes" he made weren't him, they were other people. Just because of this, I'm gonna open a restaurant and the chef's recommendation will be Microwaved salad, using previously grilled lettuce, with pieces of fresh frozen out of the can crab. That is a sign of a good man, sometimes people struggle with denial and ego but if they are good people they will be able to humble themselves. Most owners on this show couldnt do that
@mathiasstrom7790 like Sammy and Amy mainly Amy, they were so in denial that they made Ramsay quit helping them because if he did try helping then it'll be for nothing because the moment he leaves after helping them then boom back to acting extremely delusional and arrogant, making Ramsay regret ever coming to their failing restaurant to try help them out
It's also because this show is highly scripted, and they need the drama....

That's also ignoring the fact that an Italian man made Caesar salad for Europeans either emigrating or visiting Mexico.
@OriginalGazGoose from what I read, Caesar salad was invented in the early 1920s by Caesar Cardini, an Italian chef who owned a restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico and not by Julius Ceaser
@@PrinceYamiUchihaCosplay Key word: "Italian". Caesar salad was invented by an Italian whith Italian ingredients, so it's Italian.
@@alessandromancuso7242they were in Mexico but you’re assuming they were using Italian ingredients?

“Basically they had a couple dollars in their pocket and said hey let’s open a restaurant. “ How every owner basically is on Kitchen Nightmares
as a former server it's really nice to see how Gordon almost always forms an alliance with the servers, being nice and jovial.
Yup he's the same way with Hell's Kitchen. You know he'd throw hands for his servers if needed lol
