    Excellent video! Lots of good information on how to swing using Pete Cowen's methods, why to swing that way, and easy explanations of what some of the terms are describing in different words. The humor mixed in throughout the video also adds an element of entertainment. Well done on communicating the information, and thanks for sharing!

    Golf is a sport that looks like it is the easiest thing to do in the world, when i play i feel like my swings the same everytime but the ball goes a different way every time. this video shows just how scientific the swing is, and this is just an iron swing, thats only one aspect!! amazing knowledge

    Very nice lesson boys. Andy, I’m interested in whether you are trying to point your left shoulder all the way to the ball at the top of the backswing, or is it still pointing just ahead of the ball (if you get my meaning)?

    Great stuff, interesting you guys worked with or took lessons from 2 Greats. Appreciate the information - however it speaks more to getting better as average guys, when 2 teaching pros are still working on “it” and trying to get “it”after years of information and direct work with great teachers. Makes us /me wonder about lessons, learning and getting better…

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  Год назад

      Strange take if im honest!
      The best players in the world are still working on “it” and you can’t even get remotely better if you’re not learning anything.
      Knowledge is power. If you improve a tiny bit then you’ve improved

    Im a old self taught 6 hcp but the 2 YT pros i can relate to and improve with are Tony Luczak and Pete Cowen, but pc hardly has any yt videos(maybe hes a mean old yorkshireman that doesnt want to give it away for free!) which is why im watching these 2 ! Still it works cos at 63 im hitting it further and more solid than ever and recently learnt to hit a low spinning pitch/chip in 10 mins due to improved swing action working in short game,basically i know have a stable cluhead and load/release the shaft

    • @andycartergolf

      Yes and we couldnt argue. Its a matter of opinion.
      Personally I think Pete is much more understated so a lot of golfers don’t actually know the amount of trophies his players have picked up

    These tips are great, however, not everyone is able to achieve some of those positions. I’m 66, have severe arthritis in both shoulders , so putting any sort of strain on either of them is not something I, or I expect many others couldn’t achieve.

    Leadbetter is the original, Pete Cowen in his foot steps. The problem never is the know how in technic, the challanging part for a great coach is finding the drill for every typ of talent and physics a student has...

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  Год назад

      Correct, communication of a coach to player is vital. I personally put that over knowledge in most cases, particular with amateur golfers.

    There is no Pete Cowen in your videos.
    You need to stop using the description “with Pete cowen”. It’s disingenuous. Maybe even a lie.
    I know you’re doing it to get the search results because it’s in every one of your titles.
    I’m sure you have good content, but lying isn’t the way *correct* following.

    • @andycartergolf
      @andycartergolf  Год назад

      The video is portraying information and coaching philosophies from Pete who I worked with for 3 years so the thumbnail and title describes that.
      Your amateur peers won’t click if its doesn’t have such s title then the video doesn’t get watched. If no one watches then its a waste of my time creating the video, editing it and releasing it.
