That’s the thing with neighbors. Sometimes you feel like you hit the lottery and other times ….well, not so much. We shared fence lines with 2 neighbors, one quickly chipped in when we let him know what we were doing….the other made all sorts of recommendations then “grew alligator arms” when it was time to share the bill. Later, she had the gall to ask if *my* trees were going to block *her* view of *my* pond….yeah, probably so

In the 70s, my father had a swamp dredged to make a pond. He went to the State, and invited them to release trapped beavers in to the pond (very new concept at the time). They released dozens of beavers. They all looked at the muddy mess he created and left. 😆 Took about 5 years for it to settle, and the beavers to start moving back in. Last I seen it, there were dozens of beaver lodges.

Some of the best of Chris's videos have him in sketchy situations... like when the bucket sinks deep unexpectedly. You can hear the trepidation in his voice.
I'm glad Chris still uses the old 220 on projects. It was his first brand new piece of heavy equipment and my personal favorite out of all of his equipment. I listen to the old 220 as much as watch the video. It always has the same 1800 rpm sound. I bet Chris can hear it in his sleep.

Chris, this is one of the most interesting and enjoyable vids in some time. Looking forward to completion. Question: Can you dig a couple of deep drop offs? They would shelter fish, turtles etc in colder weather, and be 'fun' for beavers to dive into to escape predators. Clearing forests and digging stumps must get a bit repetitive to you, but I know it pays the bills. Thank you for sharing. 5 stars +, or more.
