MASSIVE BEAVER DAM REMOVAL WITH A TELEHANDLER!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 окт 2021
- My friends forest was way too wet. Everywhere only water. You will see water drains more than 1 hour from there and even it's not finish. There was not possible to take down with a potato rake :) It was good place to come with bigger machine, so we done it.

It's not massive big little man 🦉

Started watching beaver dam removal videos a few months ago. I don't know why it fasinates me so much.
NOW THATS HOWNYOU REMOVE A BEAVER DAM!! Outstanding !!
Its incredible how these little small creatures can built better dams than humans...
its just a matter of how much time you put in. if you spent your entire life building wooden dams then you would likely have better results as well
Amazing how the beavers can do this
I am shocked! Never knew they were so goid at constructing dams!
Work of art. Take one apart by hand and you'll know.
Thank you very much for this excellent video, it is very interesting and it is great to see the water flowing so quickly. The machine is certainly very helpful to clear these dams away. The people appreciate the work that you have done in this place.
Thank You!
Keep up the good work. Cheers from 🇦🇺
@@kenc3288 so far from me:) Thank You!
Amazing ingenuity by the beavers. However they will be back to rebuild.🤣😬
Post 10 would love this.
It’s actually quiet insane to see how much water is caught from such a small dam. They properly flooded the whole Forrest.
Didn't look bad till the first scoop. Glad you didn't do that one by hand. 👍😊
Beavers are incredible animals.
There are times when some heavy machinery is a real blessing. Don't forget to get that dirt ridge just below the waters surface.
I wonder if it would have been beneficial to dump all the sticks on the soft ground. Maybe a better bed for the machine to get traction?
I think that just sent a tingle down the spine of your potato rake. *Great video.*
Thank You!
Post 10 would approve!!
Came to comments to see if he’s mentioned . Not disappointed 😁
Do this everyday at work with an excavator and it never gets old😃
Man vs.beaver, revenge of the beavers ..next week- attack of the giant komatsu
Went from "Post 10" and his rake, to the next level!
that initial rush of water was AWESOME!
Post 10 would have been all over this one. Thank you for sharing this video 👠
I’m more than a little curious as to where all the released water goes. What’s the effect downstream?
That's a never-ending job, busy beavers will return haha
Beavers: Henry, that confounded guy just pulled the plug again! LOL
Lol!
I didn't know that Beavers were that good at constructing dams!
it would be cool to see a "downstream cam" to see what the flow looks like for afar
Yay, we're upgrading to a machinery now...way to go. I love it...so satisfying. Good job!!! Thank you :)
Welcome;)
The telehandler has quite a long reach. It's the perfect machine for removing dams!
Тракторист какой-то мутноватый ! А так - зачёт!
I much prefer when you work by hand but I get it. Still entertaining cheers!!
With a tractor water blast is so satisfying.. by hands it's not possible to make such a. But don't worry, tomorrow's video will be by hands ;)
@@Kenislovas looking forward to it, love your daily content!!
Those 2 scoops decimated the dam!! Awesome!!
Juuust a tad easier than the potato rake
Not always i have possibility to take it ;)
Excellent job !!!!! :-)
Good job, I like your videos. From Las Vegas Nevada
80LBS of Tannerite at a 7.62x54R Mosin-Nagant Rifle would have been entertaining too! Woo Hoo!
Not aloud here to tier dams with dynamite or similar things.
@@Kenislovas Ahh- I get it. Too bad really. But I do understand. Though the thought of mud, sticks and beaver dam parts flying everywhere is an entertaining image. :)
It would be VERY appropriate to show the effect of the rushing water, down stream for at least a few miles. Does such total removal cause flashfloods n damage to riverbanks???
I must acquire some gopro camera.
Now that's how you take out a dam.
1:13 oh fuck yeah, that's the stuff
Poor beaver, all that hard work
I've never seen a telehandler other than in here. Around here, they use excavators/backhoes. They seem to be even better, but perhaps they are more expensive.
I here it's quite popular. It helps to a lot of things ;)
That is an awesome piece of equipment! Clean job done quickly and safely.
Wow! That first bite!
It's not fun watching operators who don't know how to properly use the Machine!
How long has he been running that thing, how about raising the RPM & speeding that up, wouldnt be so slow with the extension, bucket etc...Nice bucket on it though
The dam is not the only thing you destroyed with the wrong machine for this job
If I could I would choose excavator for sure.
The 4th bite really took out that beaver's work.
Now that machine does the job and get the water moving like it is suppose to, that will allow the area to be more dry . Were we lived in Southern Illinois (USA) we used explosives to remove beaver dams. We didn't have a Telehandler but it does an excellent job and hopefully the issue with the beaver went away.
Hi!
In this place no more beavers ;) I've checked 2 weeks ago.
They will be back tonight... natures water engineers
I bet the beavers are pissed. lol
The destruction a beaver can do to the habitat Forest runs in the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars worth of loss of trees and land.. This has to he done.. Nice job !
Great video
Damn. I mean dam.
Beavers will kill a area of the forest in a heartbeat! I have to go tear one out with a potato rake this coming weekend….
Вам пора уже свой экскаватор заводить!
Great job! 👍🇺🇸😊

What do you have against beavers?
They make floods where they dont belong
@@cathiwim they create natural habitat for wildlife they conserve flooding they hold back top soil that would be washed away they're worth their weight in gold
@@deanbroome7855 Have you ever had to deal with the destruction and aftermath of beaver dams? I doubt it.
@@evankolacki8950 I grew up on the floor and we had a beaver pond over on the backside and my dad said they were God's engineers here on Earth the original ones and yes I think they're they're good for a farm I don't think they sit down and say I'm on intentionally flood past your land or something else but if there are on the back side somewhere that you're not using the ground anyway I think it's plumb dumb to do any harm to them or their damn cuz they're just going to build back
@@deanbroome7855 Hey Dean! Calling beavers engineers is like calling a Great White shark a garbage can. I have no positive use for either. And a beaver doesn’t survey someone’s property and then ask the owner which section the owner wants to GIVE to the beaver to destroy. Given the opportunity I will continue to trap or shoot every beaver I can.
imagine having a picnic downstream and suddenly …
these beaver's minds are strange lol that machine is great i love it.
Why is it strange?
Love that machine.
Right from the beginning when he spun the tires, I knew he would have to push himself out with the grapple bucket.
Nu labai jau sunkiai jis ta traktoriu valdo :D
Tai svoris didžiulis, visokie saugikliai susijungia, turi išjungt ir pns. Be to tas traktoriukas šiaip darbams fermoje. Užtvankų kasimas nėra dažnas dalykas jam:) jei kiekvieną dieną kastų, tuomet greitai išmoktų;)
Bert impressive waterflow !
Someone should tell dude on the equipment you have to have the rpm up for the hydraulic to work
It would of been an awesome shot downstream facing upstream.
Tom Dutkiewicz
I was afraid to lost my camera:)) the stream was HUGE!
wrong machine for the job
I think its perfect if you dont have a large excavator with a hydraulic thumb
"Merlo" italians technology near my home Cuneo...Better machine for optimal job.....💪👍
Great job. Be careful
Would have been better to use the wood to run on instead of sinking in the mud
Yeah, I really expected him to drop the first load right where the tires were sinking and then spread it a bit. Then clean it up after the dam is gone.
Yes support from Indonesia
Great machine. I like the side view best.
There was virtually no water in front of that damn amazing
I think the beavers have the last laugh,
No matter how many expensive equipment you buy, they will just continue to build dams, and eat fish.
Why not just make some little beavers traps, process the fur, and make money...lol
brilliant you have earned a hot chocolate after that one brilliant xxxxxxx
Protect the forest nice!!
Banyak sekali semak2nya,mantap ada excavator
The 3rd bite was great.
Well, this removal of the dam was SLICK AND QUICK! Roger in Pierre South Dakota
There went the ole swimming hole
That's a pretty small beaver dam........
Not big, right :)
Надо чаще чистить русло реки, тогда бобры не смогли бы так засорять речку! А так река вся в зарослях!
Is this legal? Who decided? Why did they destroy the beavers' dam?
Government.
Beavers are nuisance animals. The dams they build destroy property and roads. I decide what happens on MY property.
@@evankolacki8950 in the west where droughts are common, they are trying to use beavers to help ranchers locally raise the water table. And locally store water,.
In many cases the pasture lost to the pond is offset by increased productivity elsewhere. Everything in balance. Too many beavers or too large a pond can be just as bad as no beaver.
@@0xFF48 Having beaver damn up streams out west I think would be an ineffective means of water conservation. Beaver destroy trees because tree bark is their entire diet and they use the branches to build the damns. Furthermore if an area is drought stricken trees are less available already. Can not sustain a beaver population.
@@evankolacki8950 it's low cost distributed water storage compared to building large dams. It's not the solution for every situation, it has to be in the right rural areas. Either on public lands or a rancher that wants to trade some pasture land for natural water storage.
Because water rights are funny, the rancher might not legally be able to dam the river, but if a beaver happens to do it..and if that water happens to soak onto the ground and raise the water table on the pasture....
Should have dumped the first lot under his front wheels and used it as a Navy Matt
The tower in the back ground, what is it used for? that tele handler sure beats the fork you were using.
It's spot for hunting. Hunters waiting there for deers, wolfs, foxes, HOGS etc.
What a great thing to watch.
This has got to be the absolute slowest truck in the world!!!!!
Friend bought this one for various farm works lifting heavy bags etc. so he's not a professional :) Also there was very wet ground he was afraid to do not drown the machine.
@@Kenislovas Man it just seems like every move and action was just in extra slow motion.
@@Whunter22 it is:)
Are all these dams you work on part of your property? The telehandler is just the thing for the larger dams!
It's my or some of my friends.
Damn beavers..
Merlo= Junk. Ran one a bunch and constant breakdowns and over computerized, didn't do well in cold weather either. At least you guys got the dam removed 👍
Let's Go Brandon !
Let's go Brandon :DD lol :D It's viral in USA, yeah ? :)
About merlo, yes my friend bought it new and after 2 months it went to service... it proves what You said :)
It would nice if knew how to operate that machine
When you stab in tilt back when you clamp
A full grapple bucket would really be nice!
❤️
Nice flood.
Amazing how much water this thing was holding back
...lookin' good, nice job, stay well and have a great week...
Open the jaws and let it flow downstream.
All those dead trees in the forest. Beavers are a bit of a curse on the land. I know they have their right to live, but are they good eating? Their pelts were once very desirable. Great watching things put right as they should be. Just kidding about the 'good eating' of course, before anyone becomes hysterical.
Yes, they are. Ihad a trapper friend who brought barbecued beaver to work one day and it was delicious!
Где-то в мире грустит один Академег
wonderful
Looks like 1' 4" of drainage. Too bad this machine can't be swivel mounted ..lol
Oap walking their dog getting swept away down the stream
