      ​@@davemi00It causes a locally high water table and saturates crops and trees causing them to die. He doesn't take out dams randomly, he consults with local landowners and municipalities.

      That was an unusually quick collapse. So glad you are safe. The amount of water unbelievable. Just know Post only wears thigh high waders. In the event he would not be prepared to move quickly enough. Stat safe! 👍

    It's amazing how fast the water level dropped. No telling how many thousands of gallons spilled over in that first couple of minutes. Stay safe and thank you for the videos.

    I have 2 beaver dams that I have to remove once or twice each year. In watching you, I’ve been worried that you might not be watching closely enough for imminent collapse. Here you proved that you do keep a close watch on what the dam is doing. I’m glad you were able to get away from that quickly!

    When that tiny trickle started on the upper right side I got nervous knowing what was to come. When you froze for that moment, I could tell you either felt, heard or saw something very wrong. Glad your guardian angel was working with you 😊

      If you look just before collapse there's a shift at the top.....that was the signal to get out the way then whole thing went......very lucky that he was watching at that exact moment and that the dam held just a few extra seconds

      Watch the top of the dam barely start to move about 2 seconds before Mr. Frog jumps for his life. Great situational awareness and catlike reflexes.

    What made you know that it was going to collapse? I went back and looked at the video and could not hear a sound or see any movement but you must have. So glad you were quick and got out of there. You could have been seriously hurt. So glad that you’re OK.

    My biggest concern for you would be for you to get knocked down and your waders get filled with water. People have drowned when that has happened because they couldn't get back up because of the weight of the water.
