Ordered a 2019 Satin Ebony Shred Les Paul with a Floyd today. Gets here tomorrow and I'm friggin stoked. I love my ESP 1001 FR with the Floyd (not crazy about the active pickups though) but it ain't a Les Paul !! Can't wait. Thanks for the vid and I don't give a shit what anyone says..I've been screaming put a Floyd on a Les Paul for 25 years !! Happy camper !! Thanks for the vid !!

Hi Sammy, nice video, thanks for sharing. I ordered this guitar and I should get it in 3 weeks but I'm now a bit concerned about something I noticed watching your video:
if you position the tremolo bar backwards and then push it down (so for pulling the strings), is there a risk to hit the tone/volume control knobs at some point with either the bar itself or your finger ?
Is this something to be concerned about ?

I wouldn't be concerned at all, if you accidently bump a knob doing a guitar whammy bar trick, you will hear it and just reach down and re-adjust the knob. No biggie, no stress, and I don't think I ever moved a knob on the guitar if I bumped it a little. Thank you. It was plugged in to a Peavey JSX amp head with a Marshall 4x12 cab with G12T75 Celestions. No pedals or extra stuff either. Just 1 single guitar cable straight from the guitar to the amp. Have a great day! #peavey #jsx #guitaramps #tone
I've always said...with an awesome amp, you don't need pedals!!!! Just reverb & delay in loop and you're good to go.

How can anyone hate on those guitars they kick ass, I wonder what the neck angle is, it can't be 4.4 like an LP with a stop bar tail and tune o matic bridge. I'm guessing around 1.2 maybe? I want one of those guitars real bad. That Satch head is amazing too very surprised at the cleans you were getting.

The Gibson Axcess Les Paul comes with a Floyd Rose already installed. You can install one yourself, but I am not sure, but it may decrease the value of your jr. depending on the model and year. Then again, depending on the buyer, and how well it is installed, it may increase the value. Sammy, I have some antiques, some rare, and have no desire to dig into the guitar but I live and die writing in Drop "D." Actually Drop "D-Flat" but I need the other five strings to stay in standard, well a half step down for my fingering configurations. I can't use a DIGITECH DROP because of my writing style. Kings X on steroids!!! Velvet Revolver....I lived and died with Priest but I have been writing so long now I even like my old stuff reworked with more growl. Can you think of a way to put a d-Tuna on the new FRX system? They are killer!!! That thing took 20 minutes to install. I have a custom built for me "Bumble Bee" made old school with masking tape instead of painting tape, wanted the paint to bleed like on EVH's, No Bozo's neck plate, the stripes as humanly close to size and location as Eddies, tone control for my volume knob and man I LOVE THE NECK and that guitar started out with 3 pieces of wood. The Body, The Neck, and the fret board but I am a GIbson guy to the core!!! 1 of 1000 Custom Shop Explorer, smaller and NO ROUND EDGES. Everything comes to a direct point. Even the head stock isn't curved. It is Chopped off pointy and it is a two octave guitar. [Long Story There! ] HELP BROTHER!

The tremolo bar was the only thing lacking of earlier Gibson as compared to other guitar models like Fender or Ibanez, I think.
The Floyd Rose on a Les Paul is a pretty cool feature. Some early Gibson's did have tremolo's like the old SG's and also some Les Paul's and hollowbodies that had Bigsby's on them. Have a great day! #tremolo #Gibson #lespaul #floydrose

This one isn't for sale, but these Gibson Axcess guitars retail for about $4,500 and I have seen them used for around $2,500
why cant you buy any gibson les paul whit vibrato?
This is because usually les paul don't have wammy bar

pups are 496R and 498T They are 4 wire so you can coil tap them. I believe the guitar also has high pass filters you can switch in so you don't get any muddiness to the sound when you turn the volume down. Switchable, of course.
