I bought this guitar last year (2022) & I have to say I absolutely love it. Traditionalists might scoff at the idea of a Floyd Rose tremolo system, or even the contoured heel, but for me it is the perfect guitar & does exactly what I want it to do. Of course the price tag of $5,000+ is a lot to pay for a guitar, & there are cheaper options from Epiphone, PRS, etc. But for those of us who love the sound & feel of a Gibson Les Paul, & who use tremolo (up bends as well as dives), this is beautiful from the moment one picks it up....
Glad to hear it. Mine should be here in a couple of weeks, and I ordered one for the same reasons. It actually seems that they don’t make enough of them to fill the current demand. There’s a waiting list.

Guitar is tight except I loath the gold hardware. Brushed stainless or blacked chrome would be sweet.
They need to bring back those les Paul’s that came with khalers like the ones Steve Clark from Def Leppard used to play.
I have a Greco JS98K… its a real fuckin dream to play but i feel like the sustain with the Kahler isn’t as a Floyd Rose

@@cidnewman8032 Yupp. With Gibson, you get a guitar that went through poor QC and most likely doesn't feel right to play. My biggest gripe with Gibson is for how expensive their guitars are, they should have WAY better QC. That's why I go to PRS nowadays. I just hate the search. If you find the right Gibson Les Paul, it's REALLY good. But you have to really try a million of them to find the right one. A brand that expensive should be way more consistent.
The big question is. Is the fingerboard legal or illegal ebony? 🤔
