  • Here is a video of an lespaul type guitar being made by one person!
    一人の人間がレスポールタイプのギターを作り上げていく動画
This time, he ordered a guitar that resembles a standard Les Paul. I have always loved Les Paul, so I tried to make the texture as close to the original Les Paul as possible. However, the sound was more modern than the original Les Paul. The result is a guitar that sounds and looks very cool. The owner said it was one of the best guitars he ever had.

I did that at age 22 and it was very challenging as i had no experience. Back then there was no Internet and it was hard to find any meaningful information concerning the building of such a guitar. I was also lacking the ideal equipment to build something like this. It turned out very nice though, but it took me 11 years to complete.

I love the idea of routing the cavities and gluing on the top BEFORE bandsawing and routing the profile/edges. But how did you get the top to perfectly align with the bottom without having the edges as a reference? (So that when you lay the template on the top to drill holes for switches they're in the exact right place going into the cavities)
