Custom builder here. this guy did a good job. A lack of expensive specialty tools forced him to make custom jigs to accomplish specific jobs. The jig for a comp radius was simple and effective. Good problem solving and critical thinking skills as well. A person needs to be Intuitive in this game in order to achieve quality. Not everyone has that. Keep building man.
Thanks a lot 🙏
This is one of the things that I hope to do one day! Right now I just don't have the tools, or the space but might try a Kit Guitar first...
@@72Z15SS most kits are super poor quality. So don’t expect it to be anything amazing. But building is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. It’s great. Get into it if you can. You may look into a makers space in your area if they have one. It’ll have most the tools you need.
The radius jig was smart.
+1 !!!
This for me, is the best video of a guitar built from scratch that I’ve ever seen!!! Everything about this video knocked my socks off. Fantastic craftsman, luthier, artist, designer, musician and much more…👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
And it ain't 45 minutes long.

Huge respect for this dude not only did he make a fantastic guitar but he plays guitar as well as his luthiery 👍
brilliant - enough info to see how you worked through the build and all the jigs and techniques you used without ever getting bogged down and the result is just beautiful - thanks for taking the time and effort to record your build and share it with us. I particularly liked your trem stop idea
The whole color scheme and characteristics are so tasteful… from the binding, to the pickups and hardware selection.
Beautiful! I love how you showed your mistakes and make it work for you. I love the Vega trem and your DIY stopper.
I liked the fact that you accepted the mistake and turned it into a feature instead of feeling sad. Very nice work!🎉
oh he felt sad, unless he is that kid on the devils hour, Isaac... DOH!!!
This is so cool!!!! Beautiful work, great problem solving, gorgeous guitar, sounds excellent, and phenomenal playing!!!! My hat's off to you.
Amazing work. Loved seeing how you worked through unexpected issues (upper horn, in particular; adding the lines as a graphic flourish to cover the seam line was very clever).
And I'm FLOORED by the recessed vibrato system - that is SO cool.
Wow! Unbelievable! Start to finish.... crazy good stuff! All the way to the jamm at the end. Tremendous talent. Wonderful.
I love it. Very good job making it not just another strat. It has its own shape and character.
Absolutely phenomenal build. The detail that went into the neck pocket, the tremolo, the pick up cavities, the pick ups, the neck and the body... it's insane!
I absolutely love how it sounds too. Freaking amazing tone!
Any chance it's up.for sale???
@@CallMeBigWorm Да! Интересно, за сколько денег?
Great build! Loved seeing all the jigs and clever problem solving. Thank you for leaving in the mistakes! It's encouraging to know that I'm not the only one that screws things up-and that it can be fixed.
Also, excellent playing!
Beautiful & totally original. Love the back of the neck, love the trem stop, love the opposing fret dots locations, love the coil split (best pickup combo ever). Incredible & now I know what I want to do in retirement 🤘🏼
Bravo dude... Beautiful Construction focused in things that matter a lot... locking tuners, dual humbackers, bridge with locking option! Really meant for the player. The best I saw in 2022
Nice to see you enjoy your efforts at the end! In my eyes , your the “Great Guitar Build off” Champion of 2022! Perseverance, oops’ s , problem solving,Tremendous ! Thanks for Sharing , a total joy!
Awesome guitar build! I love how you solved the problem with the bindings after you ran it through the planer. I started building a guitar with hand tools some years ago and it is still halfway finished in my shed. This inspires me to continue building. Great work! And a very versatile guitar too! So many different tones, from Pantera to Cyndi Lauper!
The quickly moving edits are kinda funny, the transition from showcase was legendary, and the playing with different varieties of genres is legendary.
Good work. Gorgeous guitar.
I have immensely enjoyed watching you build this guitar very innovative, very precise and the way you take that work to peace in April and made it work with a really unique looking shade. Looks like it would make for a comfortable strong play, especially for one who was excluded running our pay years so thank you. For sharing this build , it has been great watching
I love the planer mistake. Adds uniqueness and depth to the guitar.
The sound is great! Amazing craftsmanship and I love the design, too!!
Absolutely beautiful looking and sounding guitar. Respect on that build!
Actually can't tell what's more impressive, creating or playing skills of this young man👏👏👏👏🤚👏

Superbe ! Et le chanfrein suite au problème de dégauchisseuse donne encore plus de cachet à l'instrument. Et le trem blocker intégré... Juste parfait. BRAVO !
It's a beautiful guitar. You did a great job recovering from the set-backs.
Very well done! Just amazing. Your playing is good too. It looks and sounds just as good as any other guitar out there. Great job!
Rad build... the trim blocking feature is so creative, love it ... drop D here I come!!!
Wow! Beautiful. I also really like how the back of the neck is NOT rounded. If you think about it, it really doesn’t need to be rounded. Great work dude.
That's inspiring, the build, video editing and playing. Very clean design and probably pissed off neighbors on the floors below. Thank you!
Amazing workmanship and a nice chord progression!
Excellent job! I've always thought of making my own, but now that all of the work is laid in front of me . . . I'll have to wait until retirement
Dude. Wicked video start to finish! I hope it feels as good as it looks and sounds!
Cool as hell. Thanks dude. No criticisms whatsoever. Just awe in your handy work and condensed filming. I really hope you have a 100 watt amp and blare that puppy out into the world every chance you get.
